I'm pretty neutral on this, but that may be because I'm not the target customer for this product, so take this review with that in mind. This product is meant to address puffiness and dark circles, and I don't really have those issues. I do however, have some crepiness on my eyelids, so I sampled this for over a week to see whether it did anything for that. It does moisturize well for a gel, and it keeps moisturizing the entire day. The crepiness is minimized. The thing is, the ingredient that moisturizes—sodium hyaluronate—does so on a temporary basis. It doesn't do anything to improve the skin or lessen the crepiness over time. I will be looking for an eye cream that promises to increase collagen instead.

Used a few samples of this, but cannot give it a good review as it stung the corners of my eyes. It's a clear, runny serum that dries quick enough. I didn't notice any particular soothing or moisturising properties. I did notice a mild stinging or burning near the corners of my eyes. The first time I used it I thought it might be reacting with an AHA I had used. The next time I tried it on bare skin without using any AHA. Same stinging. So, this is a no for me.

I have received many samples of this over the years and have tried it on and off over and over again. It never seemed to do much for my giant eye-bags. Recently I saw some MUAers saying that you need to apply it AT NIGHT to see results. So instead of applying in the morning only, I've been applying both morning and night for about 10 days. I do think it is making a difference. However, I still have eye bags...it is reducing them perhaps 40 to 50 percent. And I can't vouch that this is the SOLE FACTOR in the change (sometimes, the weather, allergies, lack of sleep, etc make a difference). At 48, I also need something that does more than "refresh" and "cool" that area, so I'm a little concerned how this will perform long-term in dealing with wrinkles. On the plus side, this gel seems more moisturizing than similar products I've tried. My eye area feels soft and I don't see additional wrinkles. If it continues to have these effects, I'd definitely repurchase, because for a non-drugstore eye product, it's quite affordable. EDIT: I stopped using this for 2 weeks and switched back to my normal eye cream. My eyes got puffier! I'm going to order a full size of this now.

I dun have very dark eye circles neither do I have puffy eyes. But the area under my eyes are a tad dry. I used this eye bright from a huge sample and I was able to use it for 4-5 days before realizing my under eye area is a tad dry. Bottom line is if you are young and dun have dry under eyes, u can give this gel a try. But most people have dry under eye areas and would not have the capacity to own several different types of eye cream. Yeah I think I will give this a miss and go back to my Clinique all about eyes rich.

Ok, so you have those nights when you have too much too drink, or you got in a huge fight with your husband/bf and you wake up and your eyes are practically sealed shut from puffiness/crying all night? (it happens....) This is a miracle for de-puffing. Its not meant to be a moisturizing eye cream.... the caffiene ingriediant is meant to de-puff those eyes and it really wont do much for dark circles. This is really meant to wake up crying eyes and it does!!! I have access to the best of Japanese skincare because my husband works importing all these brands into the US. (He's Japanese and I have everything from Shiseido and Kose latest and greatest...) I always come back to this for de-puffing. This isnt your everyday under eye cream but it will help you when you really need it.

Didn't notice any improvement and was a rather sticky gel/ serum. Only got as a sample and used over the course of 2 weeks but b/c I'm a demanding consumer I expect improvement sooner than that.. :)

I bought this product to help with dark circles (my under eye circles are about the color of light bruises). As the day wears on my under eye gets darker, and this did help reduce the "shadow". It's consistancy is a gel, and you only need to use a little at a time. I will repurchase.

Decided to spring for this while it was on sale.
I needed a quick pick me up for my eyes in the morning, and the caffeine in this does just that. It feels cool and soothing.
I don't have dark under eye issues so I don't know if it does much in that category. But as a light gel that really helps alleviate any puffiness it's aces. It's saved me from the dreaded allergy eye too!
I'm glad I bought it.

I have really tried to like this product (cause I really like so many of DHC's products), but this one just does not do much for me. My main problems are puffiness in the morning and hereditary dark circles. Well - it does nothing for the dark circles, but not much really does (although I have had some lightening with DHC's Q10 eye cream). It does have some effect on the puffiness - but that it about all. Also, I use it in the morning and I find that it stays tacky/sticky for a short time. This does not help when trying to get ready in the morning. So far, I have found the best depuffer to be 100% Pure's coffee undereye cream. But this may work for some people out there. However, on the bright side, I have never had any adverse reactions from this gel.

This is not moist enough for all day use for me, but I keep it for those mornings when I wake up with puffy eyes. We have high pollen count right now, and every morning I wake up looking like someone from outer space. This gel de-puffs lickety split, so it's worth having around.

I got this as a sample in the mail and used it thinking it probably wouldn't work, but it did! I have dehydration lines under my eyes and eye bright kept them away for a long period of time; I would say several hours at least. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you can get your hands on a sample. I actually went and bought it off the DHC website and it arrived today :) I look forward to using it. The only draw back, other than the ugly packaging, is sometimes my eye area can feel a bit sticky afterwards. I don't wear make up but I'm guessing if I did, it might make applying make up difficult.

I've tried this product and it didn't seem to do much and doesn't have many ingredients. If you are looking for a soothing, cooling cucumber eye gel that contains lots of good ingredients (including hyaluronic acid & antioxidants), Alba Botanica Hawaiian Green Tea Eye Gel has it all. And you get a good size glass container with a pump (sanitary) that locks and can sit on a shelf in your bathroom cabinet. PLUS you can get it for about $10 on the Vitacost web site.
Ingredients: Organic aloe barbadensis and lavandula angustifolia juices, vegetable glycerin, camellia sinensis (green tea) and cucumis sativus (cucumber) extracts, sclerotium gum, sodium PCA, hyaluronic acid, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate (vitamin C), hydrolyzed soy protein, zingiber zerumbet (awapuhi), carica papaya (papaya), spirulina maxima (algae) and chamomilla recutita (chamomile) extracts, allantoin, panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), laminaria digitata (kelp) extract, phenoxyethanol, methyl.propylparaben and riboflavin.

I like this eye gel, but I don't love it. The area around my eyes feels soft after I use it and it never feels sticky. However, I think I prefer creams over gel because I didn't feel like the gel moisturized very well.

I use this product as a primer under my eye concealer. I have very dark circles, so I have to use a concealer. But, it usually leaves my eye area looking dry as I have very dry skin, too. If I use an eye moisturizer under the concealer, by eyeliner runs eventually. I use DHC Eye Bright as a primer and it seems to work well. It doesn't do anything for dark circles or wrinkles, but as a primer I like it. It's a clear gel that I wear over eye moisturizer or alone, but always under my concealer. I'm happy with it.

DHC Eye Bright is a clear gel. It goes on cool without any sticky residue or buildup. It dries quickly and sits well under makeup or moisturizers.
I used it twice a day, morning and night. I did notice that it helped get rid of any puffiness that may have built up overnight but it did little to nothing for my dark circles. Furthermore, it was not at all moisturizing for me. In fact, on some days I felt like it made my eye area even more dry than usual (though it never actively irritated the skin around my eyes).
It did help decrease puffiness, but it didn't 'brighten' or moisturize... if puffiness is an issue for you, I'd recommend it but only in conjunction with an actual moisturizing eye cream.

Eye bright comes in a cute little white tube and is a decent size for an eye cream. Unfortunately, you can't stand it up on it's end--but the tube is pretty flexible and I haven't had trouble getting product out.
I don't use this every day. But any day that I know I won't be sleeping much or if I've been crying or if I've eaten so much salt that I feel like a balloon, I'll put some on before I sleep.
And voila! In the morning, no puffiness! Seriously, it's awesome.

I have been using the Eye bright on and off. The first time I used it, it was just an average eye gel. It didnt really soften my dark circles nor did it de-puff the eye area, but it was moisturising despite it being a gel. It was also easily absorbed, didnt leave a sticky film like some eye gels, and was great under makeup and concealer. As it didnt work on my major concerns of puffiness and dark circles, I left the eye gel and moved onto something else.
I recently went back to this gel, as I've ran out of eye products. And once again, my thoughts of it are the same as the first time I used it.
I dont think I will be buying this again, mainly cos its ineffective and DHC UK doesnt stock this

I have been using DHC-Eye Bright faithfully every morning and at night for 2 months now. It is working great and I love it! I am 27 and this is the first eye cream I have used. When I first started, I thought that I wasn't getting any results. After about 2 weeks- the results were apparent and even my bf noticed. In the morning when I wake up, my eyes are less puffy, and the dark circles are much lighter. My eyes look and feel so good! I work 45-50hrs/wk and no more puffy eyes and dark circles every morning. Almost no more puffiness in the mornings. You should always apply at nighttime, in the morning is when I feel you get best results. the dark circles under my eyes have lightened a lot also, but not completely. I am not sure if there is any eye cream that can eliminate total dark eye circles.
Eye Bright is a gel, it is gentle and non-irritating to my skin (I have very sensitive skin). You don't need to use very much- just one drop under each eye and finger press across. It does NOT take 30 mins. to dry as stated in another review. I wash my face, dab on some Eye Bright, brush teeth, apply my moisturizer, and a little concealer under my eyes. I am in and out of the house in a quickie!
If you are looking for a great eye cream to reduce puffiness and dark circles, try DHC Eye Bright! DHC has a 60-day money back guarantee on all of their products. If it doesn't work out for you/your skin type, you can always get a refund. It works great and I will be purchasing it again :)
