Okay so I've smelled this one before at a semi-annual sale before and purchased the small perfume bottle.yum.smelled cute and light enough for an everyday scent. I'm on a mission to find a nice perfume for my age but apparently everyone else who's 19-24 range seems to not be too fond of this one..saying that it reminds them of grandma!! Oh well, IMO it smells alooooot like Chanel No. 19...try both and you'll see. I don't find this smell offensive at all. At the very least it smells like you stepped out of the shower.hehe. I like it a lot. I tend to spray stuff on my hair or "secret spots" just to be sure when I walk by someone they'll smell me.

I work in retail and at a perfume store with something quite similar (not as good). I have customers absolutely love it, and then others who hate it. We're all human and it's only normal to dislike something. It is a bit dramatic when people act as if they've smelled rotten eggs when trying perfumes. You have to be open minded about scents and really let them sit on your skin and warm up (on pulse points) for a few minutes before you can truly judge a perfume. I NEVER buy a perfume off the bat without letting it settle in. The alcohol content in fragrances only give you the harsh smell until it evaporates. So for every comment that said it was too harsh, either you sprayed this 4 times (which is needed for some perfumes, but definitely not this one) or you judged it too early. ...

***Also*** When you think a perfume does not have staying power, ask someone. Ask them if they can smell anything on you and if it's strong. Because your nose will adjust to the smell after an hour at the longest. This doesn't mean that people around you will be adjusted. So to prevent the offensiveness when it comes to perfumes just find the right balance and go by that guide from there on.HOPEFULLY this helped someone (that's secret language for hit the thumbs up button ;P)

I own this in the body spray, and it is nothing special. It smells like a general floral scent, and I cannot pick out any particular notes (some reviewers mentioned roses, but I guess my nose isn't that sophisticated - or the elements aren't that strong). The alcohol in this is a little strong, so I only use one spray at a time - and cautiously at that. This is a fine spray for me to use at daytime when I just want a little scent as a pick-me-up or to combat any possible body odor. However, I don't find myself reaching for this any more often than other body sprays I own. What I do like about this product is the packaging. I own four body sprays from Victoria's Secret and they all look more like jewelry than plastic bottles. I much prefer that look on my shelf than the cheap-o Bath and Body Works containers. Plus, I think VS body sprays are more feminine and have a (pleasantly) stronger smell. I was lucky to get this for $6 (on clearance for 75% off), but otherwise I don't ever think I'd pay full price for a body spray. VS has several that look lovely, and some that even smell enticing, but the day will never come when I will pay $25 for a few ounces of body spray.

Whew! I smelled this at the last semi-annual sale in december and the florals in this scent are so SHARP and HARSH! I would never purchase this!

I LOVE it. I haven't worn VS fragrance for at least 15 years when someone once asked, "What is that smell?!" and not in a good way. But this I love. It reminds me of Diorissimo which is one of my all time favs but goes sour with my chemistry. This stays sweet and it lasts. Yum yum

I bought this accidentally thinking it was the mist version, until I took it home and realized what it was. one spray was a bit overpowering. it really reminded me of my grandmother, because of the heavy roses (which I normally like). there's a fine line between young lovely roses and funeral home roses, and unfortunately this one was a bit too strong for the first type.
I went back and exchanged it for the mist, and it was a huge difference. it was so much lighter, cleaner, and beautiful, like the perfume version's daughter. it makes me feel like I am blushing after my first kiss when I wear it because it is so sweet and innocent. I definitely recommend the mist version for a lighter, prettier scent

I bought this during the sale and never ended up using it, just spraying it a couple times on my hand. This smells pretty old fashioned, nothing special and went stale pretty fast. the smell disappeared very quickly and smelled of old flowers.

I am “So In Love” with this one – I am very surprised how good it is. Beautiful, complex rose scent with huge staying power and sillage. In a blind test I would have never guessed it was Victoria’s Secret, smells so much better than anything else they did. Smells “expensive”.

I don't have this, but I like it. A college classmate of mine wore this and I asked her what it was, and she showed me this. It smells good- like a nice floral. I'm so happy that VS decided to bring this back. The thing about this that bothers me is it smells familiar, like there's a perfume similar to this that I've smelled before. It annoys me not knowing what it is!:) And scrolling down the reviews no one else has commented on what perfume it smells like.

One word : YUCK. Not a good scent. The name should be SO YUCK, not so in love i swear!! You will not like it. That is my prediction. Don't do it.

Ugh, I still have headache when I think about this scent. Its not what you expect when you think of 'so in love' perfume. I got it in a set of misc little perfume samples by VS, the bottle is therefore really small since its just a mini version but I got it about 5 years ago and it still stands almost non used due to that horrible strong scent. I dont even feel any flowers in it ,sorry, just some cologne scent for men, smth like this. And this says a lot since Im usually very tolerate and all. Hmmm...no, will never buy it, thank you.

i tried this when it launched a few years ago, and hated it. however, about a year ago i picked up a bottle at the big sale, and adored the powdery floral scent. this is one of my husband's absolute favorite perfumes on me. very pretty scent, and i am sad i only have a small bottle left.

I was in VS one day and a girl that worked there gave me a sample of this. I got home and tried it and it just wasn't for me at all. It is a pretty strong floral. And apparently I'm allergic to it. I also got a pretty bad headache from it. I think its target group is probably quite a bit older than me.

Very nice scent. It's light and very girly. While it wasn't ever my favorite I definitely am disappointed that they discontinued it and am glad I still have most of a bottle.

Love it! Love it! Love it! My FAVORITE perfume of all time! If I could, I would give it 10 lippies. I got sooo many compliments when I was wearing this. Light, and last ALL day. Even when I couldn't smell it, other people still did. Very sad that they discontinued it! What's up with that?? I am so sad. Oh well, there's always e-bay!

I got a giant bottle of this for free from a guy I know who works for a makeup company, who always has stuff lying around that he needs to get rid of. So I thought, hey, it's free, why not? And I love it! I love how the scent evolves (but stays with you!) through the day. I have a friend who also wears it, and I must say it smells great on her too. Try a sample size first (of course), but I think the musky-rose smell is totally sexy.

A very realisitic rose scent. My nose only gets roses. The first 15 minutes the rose is very fresh and green. A rose that hasn't quite opened it's petals yet. Gradually the petals open, and the scent is still very fresh and strong. The drydown is somewhat musty, the rose petals have dried a bit and will be rotten in a day or two. This is very much a rose scent with nothing else to my nose. Nothing fruity, sweet or dark here. I love the bottle, but I don't think I can wear this very often. Maybe this winter when I want to remember how roses smell in the summer.

My aunt gave me this (she got it as a free gift). I love many Victoria's Secret fragrances, but not this one. I normally like rose scents, but I like them to be warm, rich, and sensual. To me, So in Love was just a straight-up powdery rose scent. It lacks sensuality and leaves something to be desired, in my opinion. I'll stick to VS Rapture when I am craving a "rose" perfume, because it still has a nice, predominant rose note, but it also smells sexy, spicy, and never one-dimensional. Perhaps my taste will change, so I'll update if that is the case :)

I found this to be an overly strong traditional floral fragrance on me. Unfortunately for me, it has good staying power, but if you like this fragrance, that would be a plus. Personally not impressed, though the bottle is quite pretty.

My mom has a fascination of rose scented perfumes growing up, so when I first sprayed this I immediately thought of my mom, and it's not the image I want to conjure. Lovely bottle, but the juice is a bit matronly.
