This is my HG shampoo/conditioner, I always come back to it and didn't really realize how nice it was when I was growing my hair out the first time and had some other decent shampoos in rotation. This year I got 'bayalage' highlights which trashed the ends/underneath of my fine hair and at the same time picked some shampoos/conditioners that did not work with my hair at all (Loreal Everstrong & Alba Botanica). Frustrated with spending too much money on products that seemed to make my weak/tangley hair even more broken and tangled, I picked up a bottle of this and was impressed by how shiny, soft, and not-tangled my hair was after. Looking back at pictures from a few years ago, when my hair looked especially nice I was using this shampoo. I'm on my second set of bottles now and will not be straying again. I really thought I'd have to cut off a few inches after the highlights but my hair condition is so much better now that I just got a normal trim. I can't really say if it actually make my hair STRONGER, that seems like a big claim, but the lack of tangles and just general overall condition does help with growing hair out and it certainly seems stronger.

This conditioner is okay but not as good as the Normal conditioner in the range.

This is one of the WORST conditioners I have ever tried! I had no more conditioner left (a nightmare for curly hair), saw this one at the 24 hour store I was in and gave it a try. Big mistake. It left my hair feeling waxy, gross and dry! Not to mention from one use, 1/4 of the bottle was gone as I have thick hair and this "conditioner" has a water like consistency. As for whether or not it makes hair long & strong, well I won't be using it long enough to find out.

As you might be able to tell from my reviews, I'm a Garnier Fructis ho. The scent is one of my favorites - I wish they made lotion and soap. I have tried almost every single one of their products trying to find that perfect blend of scent and performance. I've been growing out a pixie cut for the past year or so and I bought this thinking it would help me along. I reviewed the shampoo...it was godawful. It made my hair so tangly and it fell out when I tried to detangle. I had to use tons of this conditioner to get it to detangle. This conditioner is ok, not nearly as bad as the shampoo but not worthy of repurchasing!

This is the best conditioner I have tried for my hair. I do believe it helps strength my long hair, because less hair falls out in the shower now. Most importantly, it conditions it so well! It's perfect for every other day use, and I use a deep conditioner once a week. Smells wonderful also.

I have long, fine, thin hair that's not chemically treated. I bought this when my hair was dried out from cold weather plus damaged from overuse of a blow dryer. I really liked this. It super moisturized my hair without weighing it down, and it didn't build up. This doesn't have dimethicone, which is why I bought it. I avoid dimethicone because it builds up easily in my hair, making it look stringy and gross after a couple week's use. I originally bought it to deep moisturize my hair after protein treatments. I would glop this on, let it sit for half an hour, and my hair felt great. Then I started using it as a daily conditioner, I'd use a small amount on my ends. However, I stopped using it when it started to get hot and humid in the summer, it didn't seem to work that well for me anymore during those kinds of months as a daily conditioner. I would buy again.

This was my favorite conditioner out of the entire Garnier brand. I just liked what it promised, and wanted to believe in it.

But really, it didn't do that much, and just kept the frizzies away, and my curls stayed the same. It grew the same, and split the same, and stayed damaged, all the same.

Ah, high expectations!

I used this during the summer when I was trying to get my hair to grow longer. I purchased this along with the matching shampoo. This conditioner is just ok but its beter than the shampoo. While using this I did not see any benefits added to my hair, my hair was not any stronger and it was still a big frizz ball.I dont know maybe it wasnt left feeling stronger because I stopped using the shampoo after just one use since it was horrible. The cap is also a bit hard to open in the shower.I use a different conditioner now and use this to shave.Overall its an average drugstore conditioner but ive found better conditioners that are from the drugstore as well.

I love this condtioner. It's very thick but doesn't leave you greasy feeling.
It adds body and shine. And does away with frizz.
I don't get that burning, itching break-out from this line like I do with so many other shampoo and condtiioner lines.
This shampoo and conditioner are keepers for me.

It's.. nice. Not the greatest, not the worst. I liked it a lot for a pretty long time, until I found Sally Beauty's Hair One. Maybe it's because I have that comparison, because I loved this conditioner, but this falls short for me. Though, I remember after about 4 months of use it simply wasn't doing anything for me anyway. I keep my last bottle as a detangling conditioner, and that's about all it's good for for me, after a short amount of time of use.
Also, I have a habit of dropping things in the shower, and this product falls without even me touching it ALL THE TIME. Plus, it broke when it fell on the flap-cap part. AND, that little freaking flap-cap, is so hard to open sometimes, I've broken my thumb nail trying to open it. That all amouts to a big nono for me.
It's good for a buy in a pinch, but don't choose it over something you know and trust, just to try something new.

LOVE this conditioner, I used it years ago back when it was all hyped up in commercials and I was growing my hair to waist length, and I still use it off and on now despite having access to all the salon brands. I really believe something about this helps hair to grow truly long and strong!

My favorite every day conditioner. I have tried many others, including salon brands, but always go back to this. Affordable and makes my fine, thin hair look soft, shiny and strong. This paired up with the 3 minute fortifying mask weekly works like a DREAM!! Love it, I will never stray from this line.

I have used other Garnier conditioners before and haven't really liked them. They seemed to leave my hair frizzy. I seen this one on sale and and thought I would give it a try. My hair is just past my shoulder blades so it is pretty long but certainly not the longest I have had it. I abuse it daily with blow drying and striaghtening so it gets pretty dry and straw like some times. After using this conditioner my hair was soft and smooth and shiny and not the least bit frizzy. The did for me what I wish the sleek and shine one would have done. Will buy again.

Of the drugstore brands, you won't find better quality for your money than Garnier Fructis. This conditioner is dirt cheap, smells fresh and heavenly without being heavy and overwhelming and it does help with breakage if you use it regularly. I noticed a difference after about two weeks. My hair has lots more bounce and feels lighter and softer especially if i use it as a leave-in. Really good stuff. When the budget doesn't allow me to buy my beloved Redken, my backup is always Garnier Fructis.

I like this conditioner most than others and more or less like other Garnier conditioners. The Fructis line is slightly superior.
Actually this is a cheap choice for my hair because I can't afford buying natural haircare all the time and most of those products are not so effective on a cosmetic point of you for smoothing my frizzy hair. I mainly use Lavera Basis Shampoo with no SLS. High-end, stylist products are just very expensive, packed with chemicals and totally un-effective. The Fructis is a mid-way and it works fine with my method. I have back lenght dark fine wavy, frizzy and knot-prone hair. No conditioner alone can do the whole job from roots to the dehydrated broken knotted ends. So I put a good dose of conditioner and comb while wet, very gently, then I pour a teaspoon of almond oil or coconut oil and add only to the ends over the conditioner, I massage in then rinse. My hair becomes clean, soft and detangled! The Fructis conditioner is just the price/quality products that works better for this method. The smell is pleasant too.

I have fine hair prone to breakage and flyaways. I shampoo every day, and heat style almost daily. This conditioner seems to really help with that without weighing my hair down. It really detangles, which makes combing through and styling a breeze! With my fine hair, usually with conditioners it's either too much or not enough. This one is perfect - leaves it shiny, healthy, and manageable.
