I bought this in a palette at CCO for $26. The palette also came with Shroom, Expensive Pink, Trax, Embark, Humid. Trip:Warm Eyes palette.

I have alot of gold eyeshadow. What sets Bagatelle apart from other gold shades is that the color is very gentle soft and wearable. The shadow is a Frost and is very soft and blendable. It looks AMAZING with Trax.

Highly recommend especially for the summer!

This is such a beautiful colour. I use it as an eyelid colour, and I find myself reaching for this almost everyday. I just wish that it wasn't limited edition!

This is the only eyeshadow apart from Shroom that I have repurchased. I wish it wasn't LE. Its a light gold, without being overly warm. As expected, it applies smoothly, blends well and doesn't crease.

I got this based on the raves, despite my better judgment that says "no gold!". I am NW20, but unlike the other reviewers w. same coloring, this does not work for me--too warm. Worse, it does not go on smoothly over primer but is patchy and looks cheap. Perhaps MAC eye shadow just does not work for me--I do not like the texture at all.

I have one backup of this; its one of my only shadows with a serious dip in the pan. I love this for highlight, just subtle gold sheen, not glittery, shimmery or too frosty. Too bad it is LE, it would be a great permanent color.

One of my HGs. It's a soft, goldish tan that looks very 'put together' by itself, makes a great wash for a brown or gold-bronze eye, or as a highlighter. I might have to make a hurried repurchase from the MAC site, because this is getting low on one side. That's how often I use it.

Love this shade! Its so versatile and stays on long! Doesn't crease or fade. Although this is a frost shade, it goes on so smoothly. I absolutely love MAC's eyeshadows, they last long and go on smoothly. The price is so worth it. I also think its awesome to customize your favourite shades to create your own pallette, instead of buying one because one colour is fab while the other three are just ok. This allows you to play around with colours that suit you. Very original concept. That said, MAC eyeshadows are my HG's.

I love this color! It's a very neutral gold color on NW20 me. It is super versatile it can be used as a wash, on the crease or as a highlight. My favorite combo with it is Bagatelle on the lid with Expensive Pink in the crease. The texture is really smooth and soft. The color saturation is wonderful as well.

I am so torn about my feelings for Bagetelle. It's a gorgeous color, the texture is glorious and it's very easy to blend but it's very pale, light, and washed out on my C7/NC45 skintone and I'm having trouble coming up with combos (other than other browns) that will make this color pop without looking to obviously out of place. I can say that Bagatelle is very nice on the lid with Fresh Cement as base and either Mulch, Coco Beach or Brown Down in the crease, and Teddy to liner for a perfectly pretty neutral eye.

Bagatelle is honey gold in color, frost in texture and limited edition from the Bohemia collection released May 2005. If this were still available or permanent I couldn't say if I would buy it again.

ETA: I've finally found my LOVE for Bagatelle. Corn Shadetick as a base makes this shadow gorgeous!

Edited again: I have since found the shadow I wanted this to be in MAC's new Idol Eyes Veluxe Pearls, "All That Glitters". It is what I wanted Bagatelle to be so I'm not sure if this one will get to come out and play anymore. Up for swap? Maybe.

I absolutley love this shadow! This golden nude shimmer brushes on so smoothly and feels luxurious. Of the forty MAC shadows I have, this is by far the best! I think it is even better than MAC's Shroom for a base. Unfortunatley, it will only be offered for a limited time, so I need to stock up. I have blonde hair and brown eyes and it works perfecty with my complexion, and I think this would be a great nuetral shade for anyone.

Great neutral gold, if that makes any sense...applied sheer it doesn't scream gold eyeshadow...it think this is going to replace Naked Lunch this summer as my all-over lid wash color, paired with Duck powerpoint...looks great with my hazel eyes and PPP skin...

When previewing the description of this e/s color online, I wasn't excited about it but when I saw it on person, and with one swipe, it was beautiful, neutral color. I wear this practically everyday when I'm just on the "go." It's more golden then Stila Kitten and really, a great staple to have. I absolutely love it. The pigmentation is great along with the texture. Pretty in a understated way.

I can't believe how much I love this! I wasen't even going to get it and then I saw it at the store and had to have it, it's the perfect amber shade. Not so peachy bright as Honey Lust, but more sheer and more tannish, but not so blah as some other beigey shades. Very surprising and I would definitly repurchase.

What a gorgeous color! This is a cross between Honey Lust and Ricepaper- a perfect light honey gold color. It's the perfect summer metalic color- no chunky glitter, just a satiny silky finish. A true must have for summer!

THIS is the exact color I have been looking for! I was searching for a goldish neutral and tried gorgeous gold, goldmine, honeylust...none of them fit the bill. When I saw this at the MAC counter, I almost fell over! It's the perfect gold neutral, I wish it weren't LE, cuz I have a feeling I'm going to run out!

This shadow is a limited edition release from the Bohemia collection released May 2005. it is a shimmery golden beige. Not a true gold but a more nuetral shade. I think this color could be a little more pigmented but looks nice as an allover base shade. Didnt show up too much on my NC30 skin. IMO, its not a must have.

i LOVE this e/s. i feel like it's a shade i was looking for but didn't know i was looking for. it's a shimmery caramel color, and i think it would look good on anyone. it looks great with this on the lid, d'bohemia in the crease, bronze for a contour at the outer corners, and a little deckchair pigment. it really makes my green-gold eyes pop and my face look more polished.

This is a gorgeous rich warm tan/gold. Neither light, nor dark, this is a great color to warm up brown eyes. Applies very smooth with great pigment. This isn't too yellow or sheer, which I'm really pleased about. It actually shows up noticeably on my pale eyelids. A keeper!
