An overpriced shampoo in my opinion! The only difference I have found between this and its cheap high street l'oreal counterpart is that the kerastase version does not leave my hair with the horrible squeaky clean feeling after rinsing the shampoo.
This is an ok shampoo but nothing special and certainly does not leave my hair noticeably shinier.

i used the whole bottle , i had to alter with other shampoos every other wash because it really dries my hair ends. I used it with the Kerastase Masque Chroma Reflect and unfortunately, they really worsen my hair condition . Very sad because i had been using religiously different kerastase products for almost 2 years and every sinlge one dried my hair after some uses. I believe they are all full of protein and not really hydrating. Yet this shampoo does hold the color very well.

This is the most important thing I can stress in this review: This shampoo is for coloured hair in good condition ONLY. It is not designed to fix problems like oiliness or dryness, there are lots of other kerestase products for those issues. If your hair is coloured (not highlighted!!) then I will recommend this HIGHLY. I have my hair coloured from root to tip light ash brown, and this shampoo has never failed to give shine and softness and I have had compliments non stop since I started to use it.
If you have healthy, highlighted hair, you should use Chroma Riche.
If you have dry or sensitsed hair, you should be using a product from Kerestase's nutritive range (the orange and white products)
If you have damaged hair, try the Bain De Force.
This product will work at its best if your hair is healthy.

I like this shampoo. It's really expensive, but really gentle and smells great. It doesn't dry my hair out. Will repurchase.

I'm not sure if I have 1 or 2 it doesn't say on the package. Whichever one it is though, I absolutely hate it. I've been using it with the Chroma Reflect Milk and the combination of the products leaves my hair flat, greasy on top, and dry at the ends, without any added shine. I'm starting to think that perhaps Kerastase is just a little too rich for my hair. Update: I talked to my stylist and he said to just use the shampoo and condition only once a week. This works for me, as this product provides enough moisture for my hair!

My stylist recomended this when he fixed a botched highlighting job, which left my very thick curly hair fried. I am SO glad i bought it. It is by far the best shampoo I have used, and I've tried them all. This is the first to actually moisturise without leaving my scalp greasy, and the shine! Oh my, is my hair glossy!

This review is for BAIN MIRROIR (REFLECTION) 1!
Why did I ever stop using Kerastase products? Oh, yes, they're awfully expensive and I tend to go through my shampoos very fast. I have loads of long, highlighted (blonde and chocolate), wavy, thin hair. My hairdresser says it's not damaged, so I believe her, but lately I've been feeling it getting dry (maybe cos of the harsh winter). This poo left my hair VERY soft and manageable, yet enhancing its natural wave. It's like my hair finally felt comfortable on my scalp and head if that makes any sense. I noticed MUCH less hair fallout and my hair was much easier to comb after using this. Considering the shine... well, my hair is usually quite shiny, and that didn't make it worse, but I'm hoping to get yet more shine with repeated use (will update in a month). However, I must add that the use of a good conditioner is a must, although I didn't buy the matching one, I plan on doing so, but any other won't endanger the effects of the poo, or so I think. I love love this! Oh, it also foams well, and to people sensitive to the scent, it smells a bit like green apples, but very discreet. UPDATE: Okay, I've been using this for almost 2 weeks now, and this shampoo really delivers! The more you use it, the better it gets, and the more you comb it the more the shine comes through. My hair is enormously shiny and soft, in fact it's a bit too shiny so I think of maybe using this only every 2nd time I'm washing my hair lol. I mostly like the fact that it doesn't kill my natural wave either. Lovely lovely poo!

I had high hopes for this, but it didn't work well for me. I have a sneaking suspicion that this made my hair very flaky, which it never does. It did make it quite shiny though. I'll keep using it and update.
UPDATE: This stuff makes my hair feel very grimy, like the product doesn't wash out well. The shine, which was very noticible at first, soon fades, and now I can hardly tell. Would NOT repurchase.

I have yet to use this product but I have used many other Kerastase products and they've been the best so far. I've used Biolage- Hydrating (mediocre). Pureology Hydrating- which works great but not on Colored hair. This shampoo does not give you shine at all. Bain Reflection has two levels. The first Bain Miroir 1 (Reflection) is actually for fine hair. So if you think the product is still drying, more than likely when you have fine hair, your scalp tends to get oilier quicker. You don't want to overdo the moisture level. Bain Reflection 2 contains more moisture and is specifically for thicker hair. I have fine hair and quite a lot of it so I'm going to go with 2. When using a shampoo product there is reason why you must use it with the product which conincides best with it. They all contain the same ingredients which work fairly well with each other. So before complaining that this product isn't what it's supposed to be, make sure you use it with the conditioner that compliments it, than make your decision.
Lait Chroma Reflect -Radiance Enhancing Treatment Milk, (conditioner) works best with 1.
Masque Chroma Reflect (Conditioning Mask) works best with 2...or just for a heavily moisture/shine mask.
If you're still not getting enough moisture, I would suggest the leave in conditioner, Creme Chroma Reflect- protecting polishing creme.

UPDATE: Boyy, I was wrong... I like this shampoo. Read my previous review...I've been using it for almost 3-4 wks, love it. I can see the shine, but not like miracle or anything. Since, I have black hair, so I can tell the shine easily..it's there, the reflection. I use it with NON Kerastase conditioner tho and the result is fantastic. I'm not going to purchase any of Kerastase conditioners anymore. The shampoo line is GREAT... As I read the back of the shampoo, it said it removes any residue etc ...so, I guess I was right, it kinda acts like clarifying shampoo. That's why it's not really for dry dry hair, more for normal or slightly dry type. NOT for curly hair !!!!! I have straight slight wavy hair...pretty suitable.

Well, I bought it in REFLECTION no 1. I feel this shampoo more like a clarifying shampoo. I used it 1st time with Volumactive spray conditioner the green one, small bottle. I have to spray the conditioner like 10 times to detangle my hair altho I have 80% natural black hair. I don't dye or color anymore, just styling tools abuse everyday. I'm still using the volumactive shampoo for fine hair. Compared to Reflection 1 shampoo..... my hair looks good on 2nd day, not too much oilness and not that flat, limp. I have super fine hair and gets oily easily. I have to wash everyday. When I used the green bottle and Bain Satin 1, on 2nd day my hair FLAT already and the waves gone (I use curling iron). But with Reflection 1, my hair still feels clean and not that flat... thats why I said it's more like a clarifying shampoo. But today I'm going to try with NON Kerastase conditioner, I have MOD Japanese conditioner and Pureology volume conditioner.. I will update the reaction with this shampoo. I don't really like most Kerastase conditioners, the Bain Satin is too SOFT, doesn;t hold my waves and the "green" one, U have to use a lot so kinda wasting money since it;s very exp. But Kerastase shampoo is still the best, just make sure U use the right one. Too bad the red one Soleil products is not available in my country, yet. I have to get it in the US.

I think I pick the wrong one, should have get the Bain Miroir 1 instead (maybe?). Bain Miroir 2 is a non foaming shampoo, if you're expecting a deep cleansing shampoo, this is not the one. does it protect hair color? sorta, but i find absolutely nothing special about it, over rated! I'm a big fan of the Nutritive range though, Reflection range is just not for me I guess.

Normally, after shampooing, my hair feels coarse and strawlike, at least until I use a heavy duty conditioner on it. However, with Bain Reflection 2, my hair felt amazingly silky, and that's before the conditioner! Even though my hair is very thick and past shoulder length, I always lose handfuls when I shampoo. But, there was much less fall out with Bain Reflection, and when I ran a comb thru it, there were no tangles and barely anything fell out! Wow! Love this!
(I followed with the Reflection Masque, (conditioner) and love that too)

I am a huge fan of Kerastase products and couldn't wait to try this stuff. I had a UK MUA'er do a CP for me. Boy was I sorely disappointed. This shampoo left my hair a tangly mess! I have never been this unhappy with a shampoo before. I have almost shoulder length, thick, colored, coarse, wavy hair. Will not repurchase ever!

Amazing product. I purchased this product before it was available in america. I used all of the reflection line and it leaves my hair super lucious, shiny, bouncy and just perfect.
Price is hefty but worth it if you enjoy good hair days.

I went to my local hair dresser with plans to buy a shampoo from the Nutritive range, as my hair had been behaving quite dry lately. I normally use the Resistance range, but thought my hair needed more moisture. But the hairdresser talked me into trying this shampoo instead, and I'm so glad I did! It is really one of the best shampoos I've ever tried for my battered-to-death colourtreated hair. It is very creamy, so a little goes a long way, and gives incredible shine. The smell is nice too. I have used it with the Joico Moisturizer so far, but would like to try the (ridiculously expensive) conditioner too.
Edit: after two weeks of use, I have the suspicion that this shampoo is making my hair dry, so I won't repurchase.
