Also my go to color (see below). Bronze Gold gives a beautiful, natural & classy look, not overdone at all. *However* for it to work on my pale skin I MUST use it over Clarins Instant Light - eye perfecting base which adds a slight pink tone underneath that makes all the difference, not to mention making the shadow last longer. Without the base, the color falls a bit flat. Still, hope they never discontinue it!

My go-to eyeshadow, this is a nice shade to warm your eyes up, and great in the summer to pair with bronzer for a natural bronzed look. I'm not sure if this can be classified as shimmery--there's definitely a nice sheen to it but there's no actual shimmer as far as I can tell (like the way Quartz, Rose Gold and Ametrine are shimmery). NW20, Sand/Latte, Butterscotch in the summer.

I love the concept of creme-formula cosmetics--whether it be blushes, lip colors, or eye products. When I saw Becca Bronze-Gold Creme Eye Color, I knew I had to get it asap! I adore bronze and gold colors on my eye area--I tend to gravitate to them...Unfortunatley, I could not get Becca's Bronze-Gold to work for me. In the pan, it is a very appealing dark bronze creme, but once applied, I got a muddy green-bronzish sheen. I also found it to be a bit sticky and uncomfortable on my skin. The only way this would work for me is as a base, as a previous reviewer mentions, but its not worth it!! So, up for swap it went--hopefully with a better reception! Oh well....I won't give up quite yet on creme eye colors!!! Onwards to Nars!

Like its name suggests, this is a bronzey-gold cream shadow. In the pan. I'm NC45, GGG/DDD, and on my eyelids, bronze gold feels and looks like I applied vaseline to my lids. All I get is a sheen - no color payoff whatsoever. On me, this can only be used as a base - and $20 for a base, to me, is just ridiculous. With eyeshadow this expensive, I should get some pigmentation even though I am a darkie. Other golden brown cream shadows like this (such as BB Burnished) do show up on my skin. Other Becca shadows (like the gorgeous green patina) show up fine on me (lasting power is suspect though). I had similar issues with Becca's Rose Gold shadow but I could forgive that puppy for not really showing up as it's a pale color but this one was supposed to be bronze!!! Anyway, packaging, as usual, is gorge with a high-quality mirror.

Slightly shimmery warm neutral muddy brown. I really like this as a base for paler shimmers like Stila Kitten or Becca Angel Shimmer powder. Makes the other colors not so frosty/pale for me. This is the color I use 2nd most (next to quartz). Awesome for dark brown eyes. Very easy to blend with fingers or brush.
