Deckchair is the most gorgeous shade of a peachy pink e/s that i own. It's so shimmery in a really cute way, it makes smaller eyes look a little bigger and it makes me look more 'awake'. Would buy again if it were in the stores :(

I just got a full jar of this from a lovely MUAer. What a great color.
This is a limited edition pigment from MAC. In the jar its a great darker pink with peach. Swatched on the skin, it looks like a very frosty champagne color, with the veryyyy slightest hink of pink. On the eyes, when used dry it looks very subtle, but used wet it looks like that same beautiful champagne color.
Deckchair is often compared to Shimmertime pigment, and I have both. They look very similar, but there are subtle differences. Deckchair is a darker pink in the jar, and swatched on the hand, it looks like a more golden champagne, while Shimmertime is a pink shampagne color. Both are beautiful and very different, in my opinion!

This is a great peachy pink color on me and I stock-piled it when it was released. I ended up selling 3 jars on ebay because I have found several cheap eye shadows that look just like this when applied wet or dry. I found this pigment just didn't have staying power. It looked great where I applied it wet, but when I just brush it on dry it seemed to wear off after just 2 or 3 hours.

I got ~3/4 tsp sample in a swap. Absolutely lovely color. It brightens my eyes. I always alternate between this and Naked for a wash. I'm not so advanced in eye makeup yet.I barely need to use any and it goes over my whole lid.I read someone had 1/4 tsp of Pink Opal lasted them 2 years and they used it frequently. Sooo I don't know (: ! Hope that means this will last me 6 years lol? I would buy again if I can find it or swap for it!
Nice highlight as well.

This is a pretty pigment, but I don't think it's worth the hype. It seems to me like a lesser version of Melon, only not so much pink. It does make a nice highlighter though. I'll use the jar I have, but once it's gone, I won't be trying to track down another one.
EDIT 8/17/08: I've come to love this color once I stopped trying to compare it to Melon. It's gorgeous paired with blues.

Recieved a sample of this and WOW it is the perfect colour wash for an everyday eye look for me.
A light Peachy, champagne shade, no chunky bits of glitter, applies smooth.
I want more!!!

I buy all my pigments as samples on EBAY. Got Deck Chair last week and am loving it. It is great alone or it works well to tone down a too dark brown eyeshadow.

I have been very pleased with this pigment. I wear a lot of golds and peach colors and browns, and I love using this in the corners of my eyes or as a highlight under my brow. I've had it for about two years now, and I use it every once in awhile. You can't even tell any has been used from the bottle. Unfortunately there is no good way of using the bottle without spilling, so I simply take the lid off, and have kept the little cardboard cover that sealed it originally, and I take some off of the underside of the lid/cardboard cover with a brush, and never dip into the jar. That way I don't risk spilling any, and I get a perfect amount (a little goes a very long way)! I remember being a bit skeptical about the high price of this, but this bottle would probably last me for 10 years! The price isn't a problem when you factor that in.

I received a sample of this with my Coco pigment. This is a gorgeous, pink-tinged apricot with golden shimmer. Looks beautiful as a wash or highlighter and makes my green eyes pop.

I lalalalal-oooooooooove this! I am a pale, cool skin tone, and this is my HG peachy pink with champange notes. This is so versitile, I can pair this with chocolates, bronze, black, darker pinks, and pastel shadows. I have Goldenaire, and I prefer Deckchair over that. I love the fact one pigment jar when used sparingly, it can last a lifetime. This is how I can justify spending $19.50 on a jar. The only con to the pigments, they have no sifter, so product can easily spill. I would buy this again if it wasn't LE.

My best description of Deckchair is a light peachy-pink champagne shimmer. It looks similar to Gleam in the pan, but lighter and slightly less peach. I am a real sucker for colors like this - I'll buy peachy-pink shimmery anything - and I do like Deckchair. I mostly use this when I'm lazy and want to do a quick eye, so I'll use Deckchair as a wash and something peachy like Say Yeah or Soft Brown in the crease. I also took the advice of another MUA reviewer and used Deckchair as a wash with Botanical in the crease, and I used Smut to line. For reference, I'm NC25ish with yellow undertones, blue eyes and blond hair.

I was pretty disappointed by this pigment! I expected a pretty pinkish gold, but on me (NW20) it turns into a champagne/gold frost with no visible pink. It's completely overstated, and doesn't work for daytime at all. I expected a nice pink tint to look nice with my skin, but it totally turns into this gross metallic frost. It was so pretty in the container, too! I'm glad I only bought a sample on ebay.

Frost city! I much prefer Goldenaire, but this still works for inner corner highlighting and browbones, if you use a light hand. As a wash, this is kinda garish on my PPP skin.

Deckchair is everything I had hoped Melon would be on super-pale redhead me. A soft apricot tinged metllic shimmer, ~* THIS *~ may be my HG MAC pigment. It has so many uses for me as highlighter, eyeshadow, blush, decolletage enhancer and glowy goodness generally. I do wish though that MAC sold these with a removable sifter top to make it easier to use them. This may be one fo the few MAG Pigments I find myself reaching for on a regular basis. Just wonderful!!!! Would definitely repurchase.

I bought this along with Coco in the D'Bohemia launch. Then I bought Goldenaire in the Lingerie launch later in the year. Both Deckchair and Goldenaire are basically identical. The only slight difference (and I mean SLIGHT!) is that Goldenaire seems alittle warmer and Deckchair cooler. You wouldn't see it side by side but on my eyes Goldenaire seems to be more flattering so I tend to use it more. However I still do use this shadow and it does make a nice highlighter. I don't thinkI will ever use the whole jar just because I reach for Goldenaire more and being pigments they last forever anyways.
