This is an amazing lip liner. I use the medium and while it is a little darker than my natural lip colour it just works so well for me. I won't leave the house without having it on. I rarely touch it up because I like the way it fades evenly and looks more natural throughout the day. It gives my lips a nice colour without looking fake. I swear this is the only lip liner to create the illusion of fuller lips too! Even with every day use it lasts well over a year for me. I don't like the feeling of lip gloss or lip stick so I team it with benefits benetint in rose.

I've read many reviews about this lip pencil that say 'Medium' is too dark. That surprises me. I am fair with pink undertones, and the color is a relatively close match with my skintone; however, that is what I dislike. It's my own fault for having high expectations for a *flesh*-toned lip liner, but how many of us have lips that match our faces? If this lip liner had just a hint of rose in it, to come closer to the pigment in my lips, I'd call it a perfect match. As designed, however, it seems like a liner more suited for those who want to achieve a nude look. On me, it looks like I am penciling in foundation on my lips, which is great if I want to make them disappear. I don't dislike it, but I can just as easily erase my lips with foundation. I was hoping for something MLLB, but this lip liner did not quite make the cut. For a closer (slightly deeper pink brown) match, I prefer NARS Borneo, but my search for the perfect lip liner continues.

The color is pretty and that's all the postive review I can offer this. The price is too exspensive and I use a similar color from mac so I won't by this product again. It does not have the staying power it claims to have.

I have the lightest shade and thought the neutral color would go perfectly with a lot of lipsticks and glosses. The price was a bit steep but I didn't mind paying more for a product that works well. On the bright side, the texture is very creamy and doesn't crumble when applying to my lips. The only problem is that it's too creamy and smudges easily on my lips.

I LOVE this lip pencil!!! It is perfect for every skin tone...the name says it all! It goes on smoothly and lasts a long time! I sometimes just wear this liner with Carmex over it & my lips look great! You can make this go on however light or dark you want it to depending on your touch! Absolutely my favorite lip pencil! Some think the price is a little high, but it lasts a long time! I've had mine for about 7 months & use it every day & I still have quite a bit left! It's just a gorgeous look! BUY IT, I really don't think anyone can go wrong with this one!!!

Mixed feelings about this lip liner. Love the color but texture is very soft, which is good for blending but not necessarily good for staying put. Quite expensive, too.

LOVE THIS LIPLINER!!!!! I don't even care that its $22. Its soft and blendable. Its the perfect color. I have thin lips and usually go for a more nude, pinkish, peachy lipcolor. This seems to be able to go with anything. I love it and highly recommend it! For years, I used the Body Shop lip liner in Beech. Its a good alternative...I believe its only $10, but I've switched. The Flesh Tone Pencil is more blendable and seems to stay on longer.

I found this on a whim at Sephora while trying to find a lip liner to go with my new lipsticks, and this one was so perfect! It really goes with all of my lipsticks (nude to pink colors) and gives such a natural more polished look. I'm not too sure about its staying power so far yet, but I will update after wearing it a few days. It does seem a little dark which made me a tad hesitant at first, but after putting it on I realized that this color is exactly what I've been needed. I wear this with Vincent Longo Lipstick in Sweet Samba (a nude color-sooo cute and very natural) and also Hourglass in Enchant (a girly sheer pinkish color with some shimmers). This color is so versatile you can really wear it with most if not all your lipsticks and/or glosses, so I think that's why I think I'll get my money's worth on this one-I'll be able to use it everyday!

This review is for The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil in Deep. I am a woman with complexion coloring similar to Naomi Campbell's. For a while, my favorite liners of choice were either MAC's Chestnut or Cork. However, what I noticed is that whenever I took pictures, no matter how much blending I did, I had the "ring around the mouth" look. However, KA's pencil was PERFECT. The consistency is great for easy blending and the shade is on... not too orangey or too dark for my complexion. My lips look perfectly defined and you hardly even know it's there. I'll continue buying this product! Two thumbs up! Well worth the spend in my opinion.

I just got this in the mail and ran to try it on-I LOVE it. A while back when I was reading the reviews one reviewer said that she had found the EXACT same shade in the N.Y.C. #954A for a $1. So all this time I was using and replacing this NYC liner in 954 (w/out the A) the one w/the A is a lot more bronze and since I had nothing to comapre it with I was happy to save all that money. Finally after all this time I just caved in and bought the KA L/L and boy was it NOT the same as the NYC L/L. They are two totally different colors. The KA one (at least on me) is very flesh toned, it's a beautiful color, very blendable and very creamy and easy to apply. The NYC liner has more of an orangey tint to it. I really think anyone can use this color if applied correctly. Some of us may have to apply a bit more others will have to use w/a light hand. But overall I really think this is a great L/L all around. I think that if KA made it possible to use this one shade for all skin tones then how can we possibly not make it work for us? I say if you really want a fleshed toned liner then look no further this is now my HG of nude liners.

At first I was a little concerned about this being a 'natural' lip color because I am so pale, but it really did look like my mouth - only better. I don't use it all the time because I like using lip stains more, but I do pull it out enough to justify the price. You won't be disappointed!

my best nude l/l ever. it's perfectly flesh tone so I can wear it with everything. A bit pricey, but I'll buy it until I find a cheaper dupe

This color matches nothing for me. But I am one of those who never liked MAC Spice either. But if you like Spice, I think you will like this.

The texture is great. I just don't like the color. Chanel Nude is still my all-time, go-with-most-everything favorite.

Ladies, I found the EXACT same shade in the N.Y.C. #954A shade, for $1.00!!! Target and Sav-on in California carry it here. It is almost double the size, as the K.A. pencil. After coughing up $29.00 on Victorias Secret online, (it's sold out everywhere when I looked for it) and comparing the two, I swear I couldn't see a difference, except in the price. Maybe the K.A. is a teensy bit creamier, but once applied, the results are fab, and the same. (I even made up half my lips with the two, side by side! Couldn't tell which was which!)
All that said, the K.A. liner is a wonderful shade, I like it alot, but when it runs out, I don't think I would re-purchase. I carry my lip liners in my purse, sometimes my pockets, and would faint if I lost the K.A. liner at that price.

O.K. Here goes my review. I bought this because of all the RAVES but this lip pencil is so average and not worth the heafty price tag(for a lip liner). It is a nice neautral color and the pencil goes on nice and easy but you can get a much cheaper lip liner that will do the exact same thing. Try MAC, Scott Barnes I even like L'oreal's Barely Pink better. I gave it a 3 because I adore KA and hate to give a bad review to my fave makeup artist. But it really is not worth the price.

This is the YLBB shade. i have brown pigmented lips and this lipliner almost matches my lip color but adds just a little more pink to it. Very natural looking. You cant even tell I am wearing lipliner, except my lips look better defined and no bleeding lipstick. This is the purpose this liner was created for. On the downside, its $23 for a pencil. Its not super soft like the newer glaze formulas but its not hard either. Doesnt tug. I still kinda like other lipliners though to add more color. Will use this for nude lip days but I still like other liners to add color.

On the plus side, the consistancy is creamy, and the pencil is long lasting. The cap stays very snug on the pencil and the pencil itself is not too long and clumsy. I can also see how this shade of liner can work under lots of different colors. However, the color was extremely blah on me- a tad lighter than my own lip hue. It seems fawnish brown-biege in the color range- I need a cooler nude pencil. Also, the first two ingredients are Mica and Titanium Dioxide which made my lips very dry after the creamy feel went away. After an hour of wearing this I had a severe allergic reaction to something in it- runny nose, watery eyes sneezing. Very over priced for a lip liner.
