Oil-free, anti-aging peptides, SPF, and broad spectrum of colors = theoretically awesome. However, this somehow felt distinctly sticky and oxidizes like crazy. More like a full coverage foundation than TM, which would be okay but it broke me out.

I am surprised by some of the reviews - although I think age may be a factor. This tinted moisturizer may be better for those who do not have skin that is too oily or too dry. I am on my second tube of this and am quite satisfied.

First, the good: It glides on easily and is fragrance free. It also has broad specturm protection with an SPF20. It's nice to wear to the gym because your face can breathe without being weighed down with makeup. I have rosacea, so it tones down the redness for me, but doesn't look like I have anything on. If I want a little extra coverage on a random day, I use a little powder on the sides of my nose where I have some redness.

It's not a foundation, so don't expect a lot of coverage. If you need to cover something on your skin, this isn't for you. To get the protection afforded of an SPF20, you'd have to really slather it on, which may look a little odd. So depending on the season, you may or may not want to do something underneath. In the summer, if I am going to be outside all day, I will wear it over my Clinique SuperDefense with SPF25, to give me a little extra protection. For just every day errand running, etc., I wear it alone.

The cost is about where it should be ($21). A tube lasts me about four months using it almost every day.

The only drawback is the packaging. I like the pump, but the plastic film on the bottle can get frayed through every day use and if the little pieces of black plastic get on your hands when you are applying and then onto your face, they are kind of difficult to get off - like little black pieces of confetti. Maybe my first one got wet on the bathroom counter, I am taking great care of this one to see if that solves the issue.

All i can say is that it's VERY GREASY and messy.
EDIT: I tried it out again, and I had some sort of reaction to it. My cheeks flared up red and puffy. It was still greasy for me although my skin is normal, though sometimes dry when i don't take care of it that well.

It really doesn't cover much, but most TM's don't anyways :) I use some of my Covergirl concealer around the redness of my nose, and put the TM on (lightest shade matches my skin perfectly! Whatta miracle!) before using my maybelline dream matte powder to set it. My skin doesn't look perfect, but it looks like I don't use anything on my face and it is in better condition than sans-makeup! I'd rather look like I have average skin than have people tell me they can see my foundation! Gives you that no-makeup look! add some highlighter and mascara and I feel like a natural beaut

**Edit 6/22 Had to put this away until after summer. This is a great TM for fall/winter/spring, it cant hold up during the summer. It is already a bit greasy, and powder can help....but this formula is powerless in the summer when my face starts to sweat more than normal.

Have been looking for a TM for summer/days I care but dont care. Powder never does it for me, so I figured a TM would do the trick. After looking at all the TMs at Sephora, I was taken aback at the prices!! Most of them cost more than my MAC foundation, which is stupid to me, its just a tinted moisturizer.

I was about to walk out of the store empty handed, but I found the Sephora brand and swatched a few of the darker shades. I was apprehensive at first when the darkest shade (Tan Hazlenut) came out looking really light against my skin ( NW43). Once i rubbed it into my skin, it seemed to oxidize really well and was a good match. For only 20$, it was a steal.

I have oily skin, and this formula is a bit greasy. However, Ive tried a few powders over it, and it seems to matte it out. It covers REALLY well for a TM and matches my skin surprisingly well. I dont mind the sunscreen smell, because the sun protection half the appeal of a TM for me. The only real gripe I have with the product is that sometimes the pump thing doesnt always respond, even after shaking and squeezing.

This tinted moisturizer does a great job of covering up the redness and gives a beautiful dewy finish. It is very sheer but I like that about it. I don't find it to be greasy, sticky or heavy, it's perfect for everyday wear. All I have to do is prime, put it on with fingers and and add some baked bronzer and I have a cute, bronzed look. The packaging is great as well. It comes in what looks like a squeeze tube, but as soon as you take the cap off you will see that it has a wonderful pump that allows control of how much product comes out.

Overall, for only being $21, it's a good value and will last a long time. I will definitely be repurchasing this!

Edit: I've noticed that after a couple of hours this turns orange on me. I don't like it anymore :(

i thought I was try this tinted moisturizer well, I took it off as soon as I got home. It was too greasy, and I never had to wipe my face during the day with any TM but this one I did. I won't be buying this anymore.....

I really wanted to like this product, and the Sephora employee/enthusiast made it seem so promising.. *sigh. I have very oily skin and this did nothing but add to the oiliness. To be fair, I haven't found a tinted moisturizer that has worked with my skin, but this was just bad.. it also gave me a mini break out on my chin. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Wow, and WOW in a baaaaaaad way. This made my usually greasy, oily face even more so. I got this as a sample and tossed it after a couple uses since I just saw no saving grace in this product. I really do not know how this claims to be 'oil free' because oil seems to be the products main ingredient.

Although I bought this in too dark of a shade/ I was matched too dark (the lighting in sephora is terrible) I kept it to be my summer tinted moisturizer. I am currently finishing off my Mac Studio Moisture tint and im not totally loving it (its hard to blend and it leaves my skin feelings strange.) I decided to test again what this was like on my skin and i put it on and realized i really like it. It's moisturizing for my dry skin, and even in the summer when its hot i get dry from the pool, and when im not swimming i use powder. Also it has spf which is good and i dont really care about what it smells like. all in all, i like it and if it ends up working really well for me this summer, ill buy it lighter for the winter. also it blends really easily and it doesnt really feel greasy like other people say. bottom line, if u need a little cover, got some dry skin (even combo skin) this is great!

Got a sample of this using my beauty points... I'm very fair, but the SA gave me a medium shade???
Not that impressed - feels very greasy. Looked ok in the AM, but by the end of the work day, I feel like I need some major blotting paper. Yuck...
Coverage was actually better than I expected - oh wait, I forgot I loaded up on POWDER on top : ) just kidding - coverage not that great either.

My profile, for FYI:
NW10/15, cool toned, blue eyes, normal/oily skin, 3a fine but coarse curly hair but I wear straight thanks to keratin treatments!

Although I love Sephora as a makeup store, I have yet to be impressed with the brand. This tinted moisturizer is greasy and if not shaken before use separates the grease from the product. The color range is extremely limited, and rather than cool and warm undertones, I found the majority of them to have an orange tint. The product did not feel good on my face. Although I don't have problem skin, the feeling of the product on my face felt as though I was going to break out the next day.
The only redemptive features for this product, for which I gave 2 lippies, was the packaging which was sleek, portable, and easy to dispense, and the price, which I would say is about half the price of the of other department store tinted moisturizers like Laura Mercier for example. Although I must say, however low the price, I will not be repurchasing this product.

This is my favorite tinted moisturizer. I use the lightest shade. Yes, it smells like sunscreen, and yes, the coverage is sheer. However, I have a lot of freckles, and I don't really want to cover them up, so this does a nice job of evening out all of the redness in my skin without providing a ton of coverage. It's exactly what I was looking for, and the lightest shade matches my skin much better than the Laura Mercier TM.

I actually tried this as a sample by recommendation in-store.
While coverage as ok, it smelled like sunscreen and felt like sunscreen. In other words, it didn't feel like I was putting on nice makeup that would provide a nice canvas, but it felt like I was getting ready for a day at the beach. I'm glad I got a sample, I won't be buying this one.

I really had my fingers crossed for this product seeing as its about half the price of Laura Mercier's TM. Unfortunately it barely covers and made my face super shiny, and not in a dewy good way. It made me want to put on a ton of powder (which I never ever use!).. The only plus is its a good sunscreen, too greasy though. I guess I'll have to return this and get the Laura Mercier TM after all..sigh.

I gave this a 2 only because the coverage is pretty decent. However, the consistency is a gunky, thick mess! This has a bit of a gel feel to it, but it is heavy. It kind of feels like you've mixed hair gel, foundation, and cream, and apply it to your face. It takes a long time to dry. The lightest color was the best match, but wasn't perfect. It is super yellow toned, which I usually like because i have a lot of redness to even out, but it was almost straight up yellow. It was also a little too light. If you are NC15, it might work best for you. I am NC20-25. This is around $20 at Sephora. You get a lot of product for the money, but that still doesn't help!

I bought this on sale for $8, and I'm very happy with it. I don't need much coverage, so this works very well for me. This is a very light tinted moisturizer that gives very sheer coverage and makes a great base for powder. I apply it with a dampened makeup sponge and it blends perfectly and gives sheer coverage. It has nice staying power and I'm very happy with it. Didn't break me out or cause any issues. If you need any coverage at all - in other words, if you aren't comfortable going without foundation altogether - then this is NOT for you. If you have oily skin, a tinted moisturizer is probably not for you. This product will work nicely for someone with drier skin who doesn't need much coverage. I'm very happy with this and will probably repurchase.

I bought this on clearance for $8 USD (it's originally $18 USD according to the website). I bought it in bronze and I'm happy I didn't pay full price. I'm pretty pale and this was nice for the glow it gave me. It's fine as a liquid bronzer but as a TM it completely fails. This product also looks grainy when coming out of the bottle (like there's bits of something in it..?) It was very sheer and had no coverage at all. I've had better drug store TMs. Also the tube sucks. Right after opening the lid some squirted out without me even trying to get product out of the tube. Yeah I really wouldn't recommend this to anyone. No wonder why it's on clearance!

I didn't like this TM at all. After I applied it, it felt sticky to the touch, and had a really strong, sunscreen smell, not to mention the shade didn't match me. It looked a little too orange for my skin tone, and I'm fair. Returning.
