As other reviewers have mentioned, the color selection is a serious problem for this product. I have tried several shades of this product and none seem to fit my complexion. Another problem is how visible this concealer is even under compact powder or foundation. It doesn't offer the amount of coverage you'd expect for the price you're paying.

This is a great concealer for under-eye circles. I got a HUGE sample from the SA at my Chanel counter. I use very little, so I don't see it being used up quickly, but I'm also only using it under my eyes, so maybe I'm just not using as much as the others who are going through it quickly.

This is extremely creamy, especially for a stick concealer. I use a brush to apply it to my under-eye area, including the inside corner. It applies like a dream, with no tugging or pulling. A small amount goes a long way, so don't get carried away! I let it set for a couple of moments, then follow with my foundation. This is one of the few concealers I've tried (and I've tried a LOT) that doesn't settle into the few fine lines I have under my eyes. It also brightens the area around my eyes. I've used it as an eye primer, and while it isn't perfect in that capacity, it works in a pinch.

This is definitely one of the better concealers out there. It offers full coverage, is moisturizing, and doesn't settle into fine lines and creases. It's easy to apply and brightens the eye area. Plus, I love to purchase Chanel in general because I find their SA's to be very proficient, knowledgeable and friendly, and they always give wonderful customer service, so the experience is always great. I highly recommend the product. It is a bit pricey, but is worth it, in my opinion, as it should last quite a while for my needs.

This concealer seemed to cover redness really well but that's about it. It was really obvious too that I had concealer on even after blending really well. The color selection is lacking. It might just be that it wasn't the right shade for me but this may work well for others.

I love this concealor! I use it in shade #10, mainly for undereye circles. Perfect colour match, love the texture/consistency, easy to use and stays put. Other reviewers have said it is used very quickly - I haven't experienced that. I use it everyday under my eyes and lasts me at least 6 months so it's quite economical for me anyway.

Packaging is easy to use and nice and small to carry in handbag!

Love it :)

My skintype: Caucasian, cool (C25 in MAC, Vanilla in Make Up Store).

The green one (anti redness)

Covers up the redness great, but you have to use a bit much. one stick doesn't contain much, so you use it up really quickly - thats a minus.

UPDATE 13/5-08
I dont use this anymore, because my redness has improved

This is the best concealer for me. I have mild dark circles and very thin , delicate , dry skin around my eyes. This concealer moisturizers and provides total coverage. The the color # 10 is the perfect color for me. BUT ! Not only it's expensive, but it does not last long. The other concealers ( Christian Dior, Armani) last for alomost half a year, this one is gone in one month! That's why I will never buy it again.

In think that this is a nice concealer. It coveres under eye circles well, but the coverage is very thick, so very little should be applied. The color I bought (Light) matched my very fair skin beautifully. I would not use this product on pimples because it is a bit greasy and will make them worse. The case it comes in is very sleek and beautiful. I would not repurchase because I'm not in love with this concealer and I think it's way overpriced ($30 for a concealer)?!

This is definetly a staple for me. I love it. After messing around with Mercier, I found this concealer in Light. I am fair-skinned and Irish and this shade goes perfectly on me as well as my mother who has more olive tones in her skin. I just tap it out 3x's or so out of lipstick tube and then I take a little eye moisturizer on my finger to blend it in. The makeup artist recommending using this as an eye shadow base on my eye at the same time as applying it under my eye with a brush. Then, to apply foundation over eye and under eye, but while that worked great, I find I am usually pressed for time and I just don't think of all of that when I am running out the door. This works so well in minimizing dark circles, but mostly I am concerned with minimizing the fine lines and this works perfectly.

I bought this concealer along with the Pro Lumiere foundation and I love both. It is expensive but I find it works so much better at brightening my under eye area and concealing dark circles than any other concealer I have tried - and I've tried a lot. Maybe it's just a better color match for me - I have number 10. Doesn't sink into lines either - big plus.Edit: I don't use this as much anymore. Not sure why, but think it's because it didn't lighten circles as mujch as I thought.

I just rediscovered this stuff & am soooo excited! I needed a good undereye concealer & found this one in my makeup drawer. I had bought it awhile ago as a spot concealer, but wasn't thrilled with it. But it is a PERFECT UNDEREYE CONCEALER!! Doesn't get dry or cakey. Just what my eyes needed! I use the green color (called Professional) because I tend to get some redness in the undereye area. Usually the green concealers are in formulations meant more more pimples, so I love that I found one that works on the eye area. As for some people's complaints that this stuff hasn't been reformulated in years, I say "If its not broken, don't fix it!!". I would be soooo bummed is they changed or discontinued this concealer. I hate when they do that...Chanel used to make a pencil type concealer that was perfect for lines & spots, which they have discontinued. I hope they keep offering this concealer forever!!

This is a nice concealer, but it doesn't give much coverage for the dark circles under the eyes. It would be ok on the acne scars, but don't use it on those pimples! Its cons are that it is expensive for the amount and there are probably better low end ones out there to use. Colour range is also very limited.

So far, this is the best concealer that I have bought. I have very pale, peaches and cream as some say, skin and I really like this concealer. It does not seem to crease, even when I put it under my eyes and the color is perfect for me. I have heard of some that may be better (chatancielle sp?) but I'm afraid of the price. For now, this is the one that I'm sticking with. Plus, I like the lipstick packaging, very convenient!

I don't like it. Like the previous reviewer has said it is pretty oldfashioned in texture and the shades are weird. No.1, the lightest, is too pale yellow and No.2 (cool toned - pink) is an unhealthy muddy pink... It is somehow too oily (mineral oils) and it creases. It also doesn't cover well - too thinny texture. A disappointement. If you are looking for a good concealer in a similar stick form check the one from YSL.

This is one part of Chanel's color range that simply frustrates me! This formulation dates back to 1992. It has not gone through a reformulation since. HELLO! It's 13 years old!!! Granted the texture is nice, but it tends to crease very easily. The real trouble is the shade selection. Light is great if you're porcelain complected. Professional MUST be layered under makeup. Medium is too pink/muddy. Sunlight is nice, but it needs a foundation to blend it in naturally. Do NOT use this stuff to cover pimples since it's loaded with mineral oil which will only make matters worse! Do NOT use as a shadow base either, you'll be sorry! If you really want a more customized concealer shade, try Vitalumiere Cream Foundation, it ROCKS, and there is a great range of shades! I know it sounds strange, but it works, and it softens those little fine lines under the eyes quite well!

I love that it is a lipstick tube and I love the texture and the color.

I apply with my foundation brush and voila! AN instant wake-up to the eyes, another Chanel winner

I have this in sunlight and it is my HG

Concealer concealed in a typical CHANEL lipstick case ... brilliant! I love it for discreet touch ups... umm yes my skin is "naturally" flawless. I got the color "light" and sometimes it's hard for me to find the perfect shade being that my alabaster skin is almost transparent sometimes concealers look orangey or too pinky but this one looks neither. I wear it alone with no foundation and it makes my skin look flawless. It's perfect for brightening up my undereye area and a random blemish here or there. It just melts into the skin and feels almost weightless. The texture is very creamy, but not at all greasy. This is my new favorite concealer and since I'm anti foundation it is the most important part of my makeup application. The only other concealer I can compare it to is cle de peaus but this just might be even better. I would also like to add to my novel that I have ridiculously sensitive skin, so much so that some concealers (whether it's the perfume, dye, texture) make my skin rash, itch or burn and this one is very soothing. Thank you CHANEL.
