I love this gloss... it has the perfect texture - not too sticky, but goes on evenly and with good coverage. My only gripe is that it doesn't last too long. Anyway, it's a beautiful rose colored gloss that makes my lips look lovely, and I would definitely repurchase.

I have to disagree with the first reviewer who compared this to Nars' Orgasm gloss. Scene is essentually a light rose with some metallic undertones. I love the formula of these glosses, but didn't find this shade too impressive.

I personally dont think this color looked like Orgasm. I find the NARS orgasm lipgloss to be more peachy than this. In the tube, scene looks like a shimmery rose shade. ON the lips its much lighter and less pigmented than it seems. Kinda like a shimmery soft pink. (NC30 light olive complexion pigmented lips). I like this color but cant say its a favorite. Alot of similiar shades out there. Retails for $14 and this has no scent and medium in terms of stickiness! I love the quality of Smashbox lippies.

I found my perfect lipgloss.



I received this as part of a kit from QVC just a week after I shelled out $22 for NARS new Orgasm gloss. I am in love with the color as a blush, so the idea of a matching gloss was right up my alley. Unfortunately, the NARS gloss did nothing for me, and if it were not for the name, I wouldn't have known it was based on the cult favorite blush of the same name.


SmashBox's Scene, however, is right on the money as a match *on MY lips* for Orgasm. What an awesome shock I got when I first applied it. Knowing it was from a different line, and having been disappointed by the NARS gloss, I never expected to see what I saw. Not only the hands down most amazing color I've ever put on my lips, but an absolute perfect match for my favorite blush.


Not sure how to get this yet outside of the kit, but if you're an Orgasm girl (*grin*) look for this color on eBay or QVC -- you will not be disappointed!
