After consulting the reviews here I decided to go with this wax from the Body Shop and so glad I did. It has a very good texture, washed cleanly from hands, wonderful fragrance, easy to apply to hair and only use a small amount, and it brushed out easily.

I have fine hair in a boy-cut style and love this wax. I like playing around with hair products for my short hair and currently have about 5 or 6 on my sink, but I keep coming back to this one. While I still have various amounts of my American Crew and Garnier left, I am about to crack open a new tub of the Body Shop beeswax.
Just the smallest bit rubbed between my palms gives my hair texture and shine. The shine is probably the best part -- so, so shiny! Really causes a great reflection off highlights. Smells very nice, comes in a handy palm-sized plastic tub and the 50ml will last about 3-4 months of daily use on short hair. As others have warned, just use a little at first or things go from great to greasy very quickly. Anyway, I love this. It's pretty cheap at £5 a tub and often cheaper with Body shop discounts.

I would not normally have purchased this, but I had a voucher for The Body Shop and since having my hair cut into a pixie a few months ago have been on the lookout for good styling products.
This wax is very thick in consistency and quite oily, you only need a tiny amount otherwise it has a tendency to make my fine hair look a little greasy. I apply it once I've blow dried my hair just to add some shine, although I often have to use a separate product to give my hair any hold. Whilst I like the honey scent and the natural ingredients, I probably won't repurchase because I have tried other styling waxes that I feel work better for my hair.

This is one of my favourite styling products. I have medium length, baby-fine hair, and an extremely sensitive scalp, but this doesn't irritate it at all. I use just a tiny bit of the wax throughout my damp hair and blow it dry - it leaves my hair feeling soft and shiny and not greasy. It has a creamy texture and seems more like a paste than a wax - like solid coconut oil.
The scent isn't noticeable on my hair, and is hard to describe: like tea, a bit if honey, and something tropical, but it isn't floral or perfumey, so it's fine for scent-free workplaces and men can use it too. The container is travel-friendly - it's just big enough to hold the product, so you don't have a giant container with a tiny bit of wax inside and there is an interior cap to seal in the contents in case it gets packed around in hot weather and melts. (I just got it before Christmas and it's January in Canada, so I have no idea how it actually responds in hot weather, but it is very creamy for a wax). This wax is well worth trying, especially if you like minimal ingredients and have a sensitive scalp.

This stuff is great. Smells good - like tea. Will buy again even though I really miss The Body Shop of the past. I only went to purchase this based on the reviews here and quickly realized why I haven't been in years.

This stuff is absolutely divine! I recently got a shaggy shoulder length bob and this product is a perfect match for my new 'do. It is really easy to work with, it's not greasy and it's not too tacky. I paid $8. for 2oz, which I imagine will last a long time. I also love that it comes in a TSA approved size. The scent is heavenly too! This is a holy grail for me!!

Wow, wow, wow!!! THIS is what I've been looking for!!! I recently got a choppy bob, and nothing was helping me get the look I want. Tried Crew Fiber, Redken Paste, Fudge, Kenra Clear Paste, Aquage Gelade ...all had at least one nice quality, but none was the total package. THIS IS! A tiny bit warmed in the hands, and your hair gets instantly smoothed (bye-bye baby hairs!), has a nice natural looking shine (not oily looking), and the white flakes I had from the prior day's product buildup are now invisible!!! If you're looking for the right wax...GET THIS! I don't have a Body Shop by me, so I ordered from amazon..and I will continue to do so!

This is the best wax I have ever used! I have wavy/curly hair in a funky boy cut with blonde foils. This product gives me a fancastic 'Just rolled out of bed with style' look. It's easy: just wake up, put a tiny bit (and by 'tiny' I mean tiny!) in your palm, and smoosh through your hair. That's it! 10 seconds and you're done :-) I have tried many, many, many other hair products: this is the best.

Yes, I'd buy again, but I'm not thrilled about it: that's mainly because it's ok, and pretty affordable. I've used texturising balms/things that are way, way better, but cost 5 times as much. This stuff smells heavenly, is non-greasy if you use a little, and does give texture. However, if I apply enough to get all the texture I like, it becomes gloopy, sticky and oily. I guess this is because we're used to lots of silicone and other chemicals in products, and this doesn't have them, I suppose. Still. Could be much better. Only buy if you have really short, like boy-short, hair. On longer hair, you'll end up heavy and greasy.

I've used this for more than a month before writing this review. I have short, fine, thick, and usually dry hair in a pixie cut. I like my hair products to provide medium hold, a bit of shine, lots of texture, and no crunch. TBS beeswax texturizing wax does just that. In addition, it does not build up in my hair at all and has light, negligible fragrance. I'm especially liking this because it's fairly cheap, the packaging is cute and small, and TBS uses fair trade ingredients. I believe I paid $8 for 1.7 oz. I had been using Pantene texture & shine defining pomade, and while I liked that, I took a look at the ingredients one day and realized they're all chemicals. Plus, Pantene changed the packaging into a larger jar for the same amount of product (1.7 oz., iirc). The Pantene is in the $3-4 range, so paying a few dollars more is not too much for the TBS wax. Also, for comparison purposes, this wax is cheaper and in my opinion more effective than Aveda's control paste - it adds more shine and is a bit easier to work with. I apply the wax on damp hair, let it dry, and sometimes add a bit more for more texture/control/shine if needed. I only use a tiny bit, less than the size of a dime. I will definitely be repurchasing this!

This is a pretty good product. I like the fact that it doesn't contain petroleum. Most of the beeswaxs I've used contain pertoleum and leave my hair a sticky mess. It's not a sticky as other brands, but it does hold my hair very well and also helps to slisk back loose ends on my very short, relaxed and color treated AA hair. I will purchase this product again and recommend for my friends to use it as well.

I have spent so much money over the years on products like this one. I wish I had found this one first. I bought it on a whim after getting my hair cut really short and thinking one more hair product couldn't hurt. I love Body Shop stuff but had never tried any of their hair products. I must say this impressed me. I have similiar versions of this that cost lots more and do lots less. If you want a nice texturizing product, don't go lookin', just buy this one. Value is great, low or no smell, and it gives exactly the look you want once you learn how much it takes to achieve whatever your desired effect is. LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!

When I had very short hair, this was my absolute favorite styling product. Gave a wonderfully natural, chunky textured look, with low shine. Light scent of honey was nice too, not overpowering, and it washes out easily. A little bit goes a long way, so the little jar lasts a while, and is a good value. I go through short hair phases, and I always come back to this.

This is a nice wax. It smells delicious, holds hair well without building up, and washes out easily. Watch out though -- a tiny tiny bit goes a long way!

my hg hair wax. holds my short hair all day. smells divine. perfect product.
Age: 44-55 Skin: Other Hair: Other Eyes: Other
At first I was afraid to use this product as I was afraid it would be difficult to wash out but it smelled so good I took the chance. I have stubborn hair but this keeps it in line pretty well without weighing it down and it washes out just fine. I am very happy with it.

The Body Shop's beewax for hair is a staple for me. It gives shine not grease, and holds my bangs better than Redken or Sebastian. But you have to keep it in a cool place for summer because it can melt.

Wonderfuly tacky, thanks to the natural beeswax ingredient. Only a bit is needed, and the fragrance is very pleasant. I feel this is a good value, and a quite useful product for certain kinds of hairstyling.
