I sort of bought this on a whim, but I had been wanting to try it since I have a new love for all things violet. I bought the body cream, and it's so nice! First of all, the tube is perfect for dispensing without a mess, it's purple (yay) and has pretty pictures of violets on it! The scent is actually very pleasant as well. It smells clean to me, and not overly floral, just a nice fresh, light floral scent that is good to layer with a lot. I use this quite often and would definitely buy it again!

I love violets, so I was excited that Bath and Body Works was releasting a new violet line of products. Unfortunately, this violet is on the sweet and powdery side. (I prefer my violets green, fresh, and woody.) Even worse, it has a strong plastic quality. It disappears altogether after about 30 minutes. Another B&BW disappointment...I'll stick to Penhaligon's Violetta and MMM for violet-scented lotions.

Wow-this smells just incredible! I just purchased a lotion today, and plan to go back for all of the other products in this scent. This is just lovely, and in fact, reminds me of bubble bath for some reason. I just love it! I'm typically not a floral lover either, so this is abnormal for me. This one goes at one of my top 5 scents from BBW of all time! (and of course it's LE-ugh!)

A very true, light, and sweet violet fragrance. It's something of a rarity to have Bath and Body Works fragrances match the real thing! I love all the Violet Bouquet products, but the body cream seems to last the longest on me. I'm hoping this becomes a permanent addition.

Ahhh violets! I wear violet perfume oil (just violet, no other floral notes mixed in) and this is definately a true violet scent. You will either love it or hate it. It is a very distinct floral scent. I personally love it, I would just recommend trying it out at Bath and Body Works before buying. Beautiful purple color! I love spring!!!

*dances* I can't believe nobody beat me to reviewing this yet!! :) I got the lotion of this today and I consider it a powdery violet, like those little square candies by Choward's in the purple wrapper. The scent lasted a long time on my hands. If you want a straightforward violet, this will fit the bill for you. It may be a bit sweet or strong for some people to tolerate, but I think this will be nice to use in moderation in the summertime.
