The packaging is cute, the smell super sweet, but i really don't think it does much more than make my hair a bit greasy! The spray nozzle is pretty crappy too. :-(

This product is not going to give you that big, sassy, "Dallas" hair but for an everyday thickining spray its great. I love the way it keeps my normally oily hair looking clean all day. It gives it a noticeable amount of body without looking too full for the office.

This stuff is great, but don't use as directed. I bought this to use on my 2nd day hair because I like the dispenser. I was not dissapointed. I spray some on my roots blow dry with my head upside down, hit my roots with the cool shot and flip my hair back. Amazing volume for 2nd day hair. I'm taking one lippie off because I tried it on wet hair and was not impressed. I prefer the Catwalk Root Boost on wet hair.

I used to blow dry my hair a lot and I tried this out the way it's supposed to be used: sprayed on the roots and then blow-dried. It really didn't work well that way for me at all; I just got weighed down roots. Now that my hair is longer I don't want to spend the extra time blow drying my hair so I do what the other reviewer does: I spray it onto the ponytail part of my hair only after putting in some leave in conditioner and twist it into a bun and sleep in it. I only started doing this because I have a ton of hair products that I used a lot with short hair but now don't need with my longer hair, so I'm thinking of creative ways of using things up. Who knew that uses this like a mousse on the length of my hair works better than regular mousse?

I love this stuff. It smells AMAZING. However, you either love TiGi scents or you hate them and if you hate them you won't like this. It's very sweet... like wearing cotton candy on your head.


It's a moderate thickener (rusk Thick is better) but I will keep using it because I think I might be addicted to the smell.

I have really fine hair, but masses of it, so getting volume in my hair is always such a chore. I used to use mousse in my hair, but it always seemed too heavy and made my hair sticky - so I thought I'd give this a go.
It's nothing special. The first thing that annoyed me about it was that it awkwardly squirts instead of spraying so I can't directly spray it onto my hair. Instead I spray it on my fingers and work into my hair, and it seems to work better this way. It gives alright volume.. nothing major but it still makes the difference. I do like it because it's very easy to use and doesn't go icky sticky or weigh my hair down at all. And obviously because it's TiGi - it smells divine :)
I payed around £10 for this which isn't bad considering the size of the bottle, and it will probably last me a very long time. I'll probably repurchase unless I find something better (quite keen to try the S Factor Body Booster).

I don't do a whole lot with my hair to be honest. I like to keep it fairly simple and not use a lot of product. After having a hair dresser use this on me, I just had to buy a bottle myself. For me, the results are just enough volume to lift my boring, straight hair.

I HATE this sh!t. i am so incredibly disappointed!! that's what happened:


while strolling around (as usual) in some high-end hair product shop this lovely bottle caught my attention. i was really tempted because i love TIGI's shampoos and the Superstar shine mist. Well, the dude in the store started talking about it, how great it is, how gorgeous the hair will look after, especially with a hair like mine (Kim Kardashian-esque), etc, i got sucked in and purchased it.


Very expensive, if you ask me. I paid the equivalent of $28 or even more. For a hair spray! okay not a 'hair spray' but a...hair spray. you get my point.


Packaging: shiteous. It doesn't spray, it squirts. I don't know if it's just my bottle, but it does not work. period. It's hard to maneuver because i get a ton of leakage.


Texture: VERY VERY VERY sticky. Made my hair stiff and STICKY. i mean it. i have never, ever experienced such an effect, not even with the cheapest hair spray out there, not even with oils! Thirty seconds after i started blow drying i noticed my hair got 'heavy'- i said hey, great, it's working! well...it was working. against it's purpose & my hair.


It literally clogged my hair; it isn't about the quantity because i was very careful, seeing the squirty application-i massaged it around my roots, very gently.


My hair was left dull, ugly, horselike (there's no other comparison term), really messy and shine free. It looked like a big, gunky mess. That's another thing- there was no visible product buildup...until i tried brushing my hair with the Tangle Teezer.


Oh yes, that too- it tangled my hair like crazy. I had to wash it again because i was afraid i was gonna wake up with a bunch of knots, unable to untangle my hair and an emergency haircut didn't look like an impossible happening at all- it was THAT bad.


When i looked closer- i had LINT all over my hair. The stickiness of the product attracted dust particles and my hair looked like an old wig...disgusting.


The biggest surprise- try brushing your hair with something light colored- a non-black brush/comb. My Tangle Teezer had GUNK on it, similar to chewing gum, a combo of gum and lint- it was a gray mass that just accumulated and deposited itself all over the brush.


I tried this twice, with the same result. I am going to give it away to someone who's tried it before and liked it. I can't throw it out because of the hefty price tag...but i am hatefully eying it EVERY SINGLE DAY. i HATE this sh!t.


if you have long, thick, naturally wavy, normal hair like mine, you'd probably want to stay away from this crap and go with something safer...like a thickening mousse followed by a 'classic' volumizing hairspray. This product is a mess, a crap, i can't even type anymore. Grrrrrr!!!!

I love this product!!! I have fine hair so most products can weigh my hair down and make it very greasy. This however is amazing! Gives me loads more volume and definitely looks and feels thicker. I love the smell aswell, I do need to use it lightly and brush it through tho otherwise it can still make my hair a bit greasy. Not anywhere near what other products do and would never use anything else now. LOVE IT!!

It's easy make a huge hair with this and a blowdryer. Especially if the hair is not too long. However, it makes my scalp feel dry and itchy pretty easily so I seldom use it. My scalp dries out easily and creates dandruff so I try to avoid using any sprays on the roots and that's the place where this product belongs. The smell is nice as in most of the Tigi products.

I have fine, thin, short hair and have always had problems getting any volume in my hair. Have tried many thickening products with NO luck! Most make my hair greasy and weigh it down. This product is great and I will never be without it! Makes my hair bouncy and full, but not crunchy or greasy.

I love the purple can too! I see than most people spray it only on their roots, but I spray it all over, then blow dry as usual and I get great results.

LOVE<LOVE<LOVE this product!

This product definitely adds thickness to your hair! It adds great volume to hair, and helps hold hairstyles, but still it has a little give in it, so your hair isn't at all stiff. It has a brilliant berry meddley scent to it as well. This has to be the last product you apply to your hair when your done styling it, or else your hair will turn into greasey gunk whenever you add another product. You should NOT, and i repeat NOT, sleep with this in. You'll wake up with knots and tangles everywhere. Overall it's a good product, not bad or great, but good!

Very very disappointed with this product. First off, I hated the smell, gave me a headache. It didn't give my hair any volume, just made it a sticky, hard, tangled mess. I've used it two times hoping that maybe the second time would be better than the first. I was wrong. I have a full bottle of this stuff sitting in my closet. What a waste of money!

dont know what to feel about this product 2 b honest

yes it smells nice but havent really seen anything else. Ive sprayed it on wet and dry hair and i think it works best when your hair is wet. On dry hair it weighs it down 2 much and makes it sticky and a nightmare to work with

Wow, I really like this product and I'm pretty fickle when it comes to hair products. I have very fine, shoulder length hair and I'm growing out some old layers. I', in that in-between stage of hair growing where you hate your hair! But I use this allover and blow try with my tourmaline hair dryer and I have more volume and bouncy hair. I spray at the top of my head and underneath the sides. I use a round brush to help add volume too. The key to this product is to not use a lot but come it through before blow drying. Let it sit on your head about 5 minutes too. Between this and the matrix amplifly shampoo/conditioner my hair is about 40% thicker looking. This is after I had a bout of hairloss this year from stress. I was very depressed about it and felt I had to do something. I love this stuff. The bottle kind of sucks though. I sometimes have a hard time getting it to come out, but otherwise, Its a keeper!

Personally I don't think this spray did much for my shorter, fine hair - even though it smells great, it's kind of sticky & doesn't seem to add the volume it promises. However I noticed a lot of people on here have had success with it, so I shall give it another chance & let you know.

When my stylist uses this on me, I'm amazed at the volume my hair has! I haven't quite figured out how to use it quite as well as he does, but my hair definitely looks better when I do use it. I have fine hair that needs all the help it can get to have some volume!

I have baby-fine, thin, oily hair. This is one of the only products that gives me volume. Unfortunately the volume seems to be short-lived on my type of hair. But it's better than most others out there. I like the smell of it. Sometimes the nozzle gets clogged.

LOVE THIS THICKENING SPRAY! It smells SOOOOOOO good and it really does add volume to my otherwise flat, oily hair. I like to spritz this with my head upside down. Love Tigi packaging!
