I have had this in black and brown. If you have got yourself a real Too Faced pencil, it is supposed to be really creamy, so creamy that if you touch your lid with it, it will practically melt and you dont need to push at all to get color. I know this because I had a real one in black, and recently I swapped for another one, which I am pretty sure is fake because it is very hard and also suitable for brows. The fake one is just a very standard pencil. So if you basically buy a pencil from EBAY or from other not so reputable seller and your pencil does not quite seem to match the reviews...it is most possible you have got yourself a fake one. In no circumstances, I could ever imagine a person thinking this pencil is hard at all. Because it is really melty like butter, when it touches your skin and it will make a mess.

ERGH...
I have combination skin, so its not overtly oily but this product made my eyes look like an oil spill about an hour after applying.. it goes on very smoothly and looks lovely for the first 5 mins but after that.. it transferred horribly, didn't stick to my waterline and made my whole eye area very greasy.. the only thing i liked about it was that it went on without tugging my eyes.. but since you are basically coating them in cooking oil coloured black thats not surprising! I also had to sharpen it after every use or every other use at a push, so it used up quickly, which for £13 is not brilliant.... I LOVE big, dramatic khol eyes and this was just hideous.. made me look like i had no eyeliner on and a lot of grey cream eyeshadow 0_o

no go on this one TwoFaced.. going to try their 'perfect eyes' one next to see if that lasts!

Age: 30-35   Skin: Combination, Medium, Cool   Hair: Brunette, Straight, Medium   Eyes: Brown

Pros:

Very soft, super smudgeable

Blended easily without any tugging

Glossy for that high end, fashion look - smudgy rocker eye

Good for adhering powders/glitter to eye

Cons:

Very hard to layer, color was patchy and kinda sheer

Smudged too easy, transferred easily

Did not take to my waterline

If used as base, creased soon after application

Will never repurchase.

Don't waste your money basically. If i can take this back to Boots for a refund I will because it smudges, runs and transfers onto your lids and under your eyes. This is not a good look and you don't want to be worrying about panda eyes which you are guaranteed to get with this! I bought it because the very pretty SA had a lovely neat top and bootom line and she swore that this is the pencil she used - i have never been able to recreate with this liner so who knows if she was telling the truth! The only positve was that it did not drag on the skin when applied and was quite a dark intense solid colour. Apart from that many other negatives including the fact that it seems to need sharpening after every use for example.

I do like the finish this pencil gives - literally a glossy intense black colour which makes my eyes pop like crazy. However, this smudges all over the place. I don't have oily lids but I find that within minutes this has smudges and runs. Really upset about that. For this reason, I wouldn't repurchase. Not worth the hassle.

LOVED THIS PRODUCT SO MUCH. Probably one of the best high-end pencil liners I have ever used. The colour is intense which I like and the staying power is pretty good. It does smudge a little it but overall really great product. Definitely worth trying.

I was given this as a gift in Chocolate Lava (charcoal brown). This is the first brown eyeliner that I've ever owned, as I tend to favor black. I really like the color and the texture. It applies very easily and it has a creamy/glossy texture. It doesn't pull at my skin when I apply it. It lasts all day on me, but I always use a primer on my eyes. I find it easy to line my eyes with this pencil, unlike a lot of other pencils that I've tried. I would recommend this to a friend. I'm taking 1 mark off because I think it does migrate a bit during the hotter months, but not terribly. No raccoon eyes, but it does smudge a bit.

I do like that this liner goes on smoothly and appears "wet" like a liquid. Application can get a little heavy, though, at times, despite how careful or newly sharpened it is. Speaking of sharpening, I'm glad this comes with it's own sharpener, because of it's slick nature, the product gets messy in the sharpener and would get all over my other pencils. I would repurchase, though. It's a good "going out" liner because of it's vinyl finish.

I don't know if I bought a defective product, because everyone below keeps raving about the intensity of the color, but I found that I had to apply layer after layer of this product to get an even line that wasn't even very dark. If I used a heavier hand, the line would just end up too thick.

I love this liner. Really creamy, super pigmented. Love love love! I didnt have issues with running or smearing like others have said. I didnt even use a primer. Just goes to show that not everything works for everyone!

I thought I found my HG e/l but I was mistaken :( I will say that this glides on so great and looked amazing for about and hour on me then it runs even with a primer, even when I looked up it left smudges on my eye area, I am soooo disappointed in this product and its going back to Sephora...

PROS:
-Goes on smooth and easy
-AMAZING jet black, glossy color...the blackiest of the black eyeliner for a dramatic look
-smudgeable (if you are going for that look)

CONS:
-smudes, runs (if the smudgeable look is NOT what you are going for..)
-is PERFECT for the first 10 minutes, then it begins to run and does not stay put...forget wearing this on a hot day, even when its not hot I have racoon eyes within the first few hours.
-Need to constantly reapply or wipe the smudges from under your eyes every time you hit the ladies room which can get annoying.

This is a beautiful product, perfect and jet black when first applied, but it just doesn't stay that way which is a shame. This is nice for getting the smudge look, but if not, it really does get all over the place which can be quite embarressing. I do love it, but I hate having to baby sit it, always check and make sure that it hasn't given me racoon eyes yet, and having to reapply it constantly. I will be moving on as soon as I am done with mine. 3 lippies for the glossy, jet black beautiful color, -2 for smuding and not being the eyeliner of my dreams.

Although this stuff is easy to apply, it runs like crazy (even with minimal application), even on cold days. I don't recommend it.

I love this liner!! I was a little worried about it being "glossy" but it turns out it applies very well. Becuase its so soft it glides on almost as easily as liquid. I dont have an issue with it running or smudging but I dont touch my eyes very much and dont use contacts with drops or anything like that. I also have dry skin so that may be why too. I have gotten compliments on this liner and have used almost the whole thing which I usually dont do. I usually buy another kind before I use the whole thing but this one I am buying again. I am however looking for it on ebay to get it a little cheaper. All and all I love this stuff!!!

This liner is ok but it can smear all over the place if you are oily. I love the ease of applicatin though.

This is my favorite eyeliner, I've been using it for the past two years. It goes on so easy. I love it. The only thing is that it smudges, but that's typical of most pencil eyeliners.

fantastic eyeliner. on me it looks like liquid eyeliner but it's a pencil that you apply. it cost me $29 Australia dollars...so it isn't a cheap one but cheaper and better than Clinique and other department store brands

I am horribly disappointed in this liner. I absolutely love Too Faced and this is the first product I've tried that I don't like. While it does apply smoothly and looks very glossy as it claims, it also smears and rubs off almost instantly, even with UDPP. I've got plenty of drugstore brand liners under $5 that work better than this liner. At $16.50, it's way too expensive for something that works so poorly. I'm returning it tomorrow.

I have repurchased this over and over again. I have it in chocolate and black. It is the best eyeliner I have used so far. I have tried NARS, MAC, Urban Decay, Benefit and any and all drugstore brands. This smudges just enough for that smoky eye look that i love to do and stays on longer than any of those other brands. I am not sure why people were complaining about it smearing everywhere. .. MAC kohl is way worse. I love this eyeliner in the brown for the day and black for night! It is a little to expensive for my taste but about average for higher end brands. I also hate that they stopped including the pencil sharperners! That was my favorite! Definately worth buying again!

I believe I got this as a deluxe sample from some Too Faced promo, not sure if it was in normal packaging and just downsized, but I found the packaging very plain and uninteresting. The brownish black shade is really nice on my complexion (PPP w/ blue eyes and blonde hair) because it wasn't too gaudy, but I had a problem with it transfering to my upper and lower lids- not pretty! So for that alone, I wouldn't purchase it again and I've only used it a few times.
