I love this eyeshadow, a very shimmery glam nude duo! Love it for the daytime!!! Only issue is the powder is VERY soft and so A LOT of shadow gets wasted :(

This comes with two frosty, light, summery shades that are perfect for a picnic or afternoon outdoors. Great product with strong satying power. Also, the colors applied are fairly tru to how they look at first glance.

Colors: Medium pinky peachy champagne with quite a bit of shimmer and a lighter highlighter in the same color family with shimmer as well as medium sized sparkles . On me (PPP, brunette, hazel eyes) this is a great eyeshadow for a shimmery natural look. However, neither shade is unique. I have seen many that are similar.

Texture and Pigmention: They are on the soft side, but not too soft. On a pigmentation scale of 1-5 (1 being so sheer it barely shows up, and 5 being opaque) I would give the darker shade a 4, and the lighter shade a 2.5.

Packaging: Not crazy about it. It's cardboard with a magnetic flip top. It seems a little flimsy. Also, it's a kind of small for $18 USD (.06 oz)

Would I buy again? Probably, since I am always reaching for this when I want to do a simple, natural eye.

This is my first Pout duo and I'm a bit disappointed. In the pan it looks like there is a distinguishable difference between the two colors, but there really isn't. They both appear to be a champagney color when applied to the eyes, but the lighter color just has more noticable glitter. I'm looking forward to trying out more Pout duos b/c the quality is superb and the packaging is too cute. I just wish this duo had a better color pairing. These colors were not meant to go together, but it's great individually.

A very shimmery light and dark champagne duo. It’s great for a simple but pretty eye, very nice for work or when you just don’t feel like too much colour. The only complaint I have is that the shimmer is really a lot, it spreads all over and often I find it on my lower lash line and under eye. I wouldn’t repurchase it, but I’ll use it all to the end.

Miss Egypt consists of a light beige with silver frost and a shimmery peachy champagne about a shade darker than the first. The lighter color reminds me of MAC Goldbit but less glittery and more subtle. Looks way more toned down on the eye than in the pan. You can wear this duo by itself for a very natural look, but I like to pair this with a darker color in the crease, such as Guerlain Brun Fusion (medium taupe brown with a satin finish). I'm so glad I didn't wait to buy this! It's so versatile and I imagine it will become one of my staples.

I love Pout eyeshadows because of their superior blending ability. I wanted to love Miss Egypt, but it's just so light. I have a fair complexion so that may be part of the problem, but all either color did was give me a little wash of irridescence. It's pretty, don't get me wrong, and I like to wear it with a thin line of black eyeliner when I want to play up my lips. But I don't use it enough to justify a higher rating. I love most of the other Pout duos.

I was less than thrilled with miss eygpt. It contains two very light highlighter shades IMO. One side is a beigey creamy glittery shade. the shadow is nicely pigmented and although the glitter will fall all underneath my lids, it didnt bother my contacts and brushed away easily. The other side is a little darker peachy beige shade with a little shimmer. Its too light for a crease shade on my NC30 complexion and a better wash or lid color. I prefer a duo with a darker shade so I dont have to reach for an additional compact. Other than that, the shades are rather standard, not overly unique IMO but still nice quality. Pricey at $22 for a small pan in a cardboard container. I like this and think its a nice product but wouldnt repurchase.

This duo is very silky, and very pigmented, but it dosent adhere to the skin well for some reason, even with a base. One side is a light champagne with microglitter, not shimmer. The other side is a Pinker version of stila kitten, very frosty with some more microglitter.

LOVE THIS!! This is perfect for a very pretty every day look. I have dark hair and hazel eyes. It really makes the green in my eyes POP! Also makes my eyes look refreshed - even when I haven't gotten enough sleep. For night time, the lighter shade is perfect for an overall lid wash, with your favorite charcoal liner. Just gorgeous! Staying power is great too.

NC20, LLL, Hazel-Green Eyes---> Miss Egypt is one of the latest duos I have added to my growing collection of Pout eye duos! I would describe this duo as 2 coordinating-shimmering shades of champagne/peach. For those of you that own NARS All About Eve Duo; this duo is close to the fleshy-neutral shades of the NARS duo. The lighter shade in this duo is a shimmering, light, peachy-champagne color with a "sparkle-dust" kind of finish minus the chunky glitter. The darker shade is a more subdued, shimmering pink-peach shade minus the sparkle-dust finish. Pout's eyeshadows are very soft in texture and fragile so I would not recommend throwing these in your makeup bag. For those who have tried Aveda's and Shu Uemura's shadows; you know how fragile those are. Some of Pout's duos are like those and Miss Egypt is one of them! I had to use a soft bristed eyeshadow brush and patting the lighter shade on my lid worked best! Like what you would do with MAC pigments. It doesn't take much swirling of your makeup brush to pick-up the eyeshadow so be careful! This might be a pain for some, but I prefer a softer shadow with great blendability. The packaging is "froo-froo" but the product inside is the best part! I am glad Aligirl put the idea in my head to try these out as most have been wonderful! Thumbs up for the texture, pigment, and blendability!
