Really awesome product worked great on my skin and since it has a gel consistency it feels really smooth on skin. I have super sensitive skin and it seemed to keep it calm. def would buy this again

GAVE ME A BIG RASH ON MY FACE, i used it last night and felt fine, woke up in the morning and everything was fine, my face felt really soft...i went to the gym and while i was working out and sweating my face was a bit itchy. I took my makeup off like 30 minutes ago and now have a giant rash all over my face and neck. If you have really sensitive skin or react easily to certain face products then i suggest you dont buy this

I like this product. I used to use the one for oily and combination skin which was a great, very light and not greasy moisturizer, but lately, I've been on roaccutane so my skin have been very dry that I had to switch to a thicker moisturizer and since I loved the one for oily skin, I thought this one will work good as well.
Yes, it works well. It's affordable, heavier, moisturizing and still not greasy, but if you have a very sensitive skin then it may sting a little bit.

I like this. I love the smell, and this is really soft on my skin. But, i don't think it makes my skin better. Or worse. It's okey and moisturizes for the day but not more. And i don't like the packaging, when you have to put your fingers in the jar. A pro is that it's cheap.

Great light moisturizer for people with normal to slightly dry skin. It has a pleasant light, rose type smell, and goes on smoothly without leaving an oily residue. It's great if you have mild dry skin but if you want something more intense then don't get this. I use it to prevent dry skin on my cheeks from anti-acne cleansers and it works great. Keeps my skin soft and has never caused a breakout.

If yo have pretty good skin, this would be ok to get by as daily cream.
But for people with dry skin like myself should avoid this cream.
I just bought as emergency cream when I stayed over my friends place
but this was just ok but not worth the money.
It is just cream that does not much to your skin.
I dont feel moisturised at all after this. Go for more expensive line from Garner.

A pretty good day cream, with a velvety feel and smells divine. A bit like roses and baby cream. It does not have an SPF factor so it might be best to use this at home (which I do, and was on the hunt for a moisturiser without sun protection) It's not heavy duty but offers a normal level of moisture. I agree that it is not an effective base for make up; tends to slide off. I bought this on special for $5 but the non-sale price is decent too.
EDIT: Errr, my tube says 'apply in the evening' though it is supposed to be a day cream. Any help?

i only use this when i have a really dry or itchy patch on my face, and for that purpose it works perfect, but once i tried it all over my face and it felt kinda heavy. I prefer the garnier fresh

I love the smell of this cream and does feel nice on my skin - it absorbs easily and feels really cooling and calming. However it is not great as a base for make-up and I don't feel like it does much for my skin. My skin looks a bit dull under this cream, not bright and clean like with other moisturisers. I will use it now I've bought it but I don't think I will buy this again.

By reading the reviews I think this is where my review of the Garnier SoftSensitive moisturises with SPF (not stated how high factor) belongs. Ladies, this face cream is a miracle! I happened to buy it out of need to get something asap, but I do not even know how many jars I have been through since that day just some months ago. This cream makes my dryish, a bit blemish and acne prone skin amazingly smooth, soft and plump. Leaves my face delightful to the touch and with a feeling of extreme wellbeing. I cannot wear anything else since every time I try, I break out and become bumpy immediately. Then I rush for this, and my face is amazing again in 24 hours (I use this day and night regardless of the unspecified SPF). Well, no more tryings for me!!!
I adore the pale pink little jar, and the delicate rose scent. It is a very pleasant rose scent too, cannot describe but I admit to just open the little jar and smell it at times! :D The texture is the most incredible I have ever experienced in a face cream. It goes in nicely and easily, and leaves face simply amazing. What else is incredible, is the ingredient list of this product as well as the price. I buy it for 4-5 euros!!! This stuff is incredible, definite continued repurchase.

I have sensitive skin which tends to be a bit dry, especially in winter. This product is quite rich, even if applied in small amounts, and has caused blackheads and pimples due to the excess oiliness. I won't be buying this product again, but do recommend it for very dry skin. If your skin is only a little dry in places or because of harsh weather, try something else because this can make your skin too oily.

i have found that garnier products are not very good but they smell great and they have packaging that look good. the smell of this product reminds me of roses but i think it mosisturized less then the Pure moistureizer by garnier which was ment for oily skin

Although it is a day cream, it offers enough moisturisation be used as a night cream. It feels great on the face after it is applied, and does not make your skin shiny.

I saw this advertised in a cosmo mag recently and I thought it sounded like exactly what I needed. I had just recovered from a horrible skin rash due to a reaction to a no-name sunscreen so I figured because this contained vitamin E and rose essence, it would be perfect to restore the moisture in my cheeks, (I'm combination, rlly rlly dry in winter all over my face but in the hotter seasons, dry cheeks and slightly oily t-zone) I bought it and started applying it to my cheeks at night time. I was scared at first because it came out quite thick and had a really over-powering scent, but I kept reassuring myself that because it had the two ingredients of vitamin E and rose essence, it would be fine.
A week goes by and everything was well, my cheeks were rlly soft and glowing but one morning I woke up and looked into the mirror and discovered patches of redness from where my rash once was. I didn't think much of it, cuz they were already red and blotchy from recovering. I kept applying the garnier soft cream and it completely reacted to my skin like how the sunscreen did -.- made tinny red bumps come up on the skin's surface. I did some research and found that rose and rose essence is a skin irritant. *sighs* so now I’m recovering again lol and back onto my lovely happyderm moisturizer from L'Oreal. This stuff is nice for a while, but can react over time, so use with caution in my opinion. I'm deff not buying this again.

I love the smell of this! I have a atopic skin, so this product might not be moisturizing enough for my skin. I have to apply it two times so one bottle won't last very long. That is probably because winter is coming and it's getting so cold.
I'm still planning to by this again in the summer because I believe it will be enough moisturizing then when it's warmer.

Soft is exactly what it is! Lovely smell, texture that's not too greasy on the skin. Leaves my tight/dry skin soft and smelling of roses. I've used this product for 2 years now with absolutely no breakouts or problems. I doubt it would suit oily complexions though.

This product works best on dry skin as it moisturisors and makes your skin feel soft and smooth and the smell is pleasant.
I do not recommend to use this on oily skin as it would be too rich.

This stuff actually comes out a thick cream, which kinda scared me, since it was so emollient! BUT this does absorb very quickly and once it does it leaves my skin uber soft! I love this stuff!! After trying the FRESH hydrator from this line that left me with clogged pores (when used under makeup) i was hesitant. I am so glad i decided to give this one a try based on all the positive reviews here! Thanks mUA!

I thought this would be a great budget product for me however this product left me disappointed. I have dry sensitive skin that when aggravated becomes blotchy, flaky and pimple prone and although this moisturiser is meant for my skin type, my skin did not respond well and I was left with pimples and dryness.

Cute, pink, fluffy, smells of roses...
A great cheap moisturiser but I prefer the mid-priced ones. This moisturises well without irritating your skin and is definately one of the best budget options out there.
However... if you have more money to spend then try out something by a range like REN or Aveda.
P.S. Garnier moisturisers always seem to peel a little (the cream, not your skin) after they have 'soaked in'...
