I loved this product before they repackaged it and reformulated it. Just not the same as the old product...

I bought this product at Wal-Mart looking for something cheap and hair protecting without pathenyl or pathenol. This was the great stuff. It worked amazingly well. Its great for those who are on a budget and everything. I use to use chi silk infusion but I ran out and the bottle was about $25 dollars for a 5 mini oz bottle? That was ridiculous. So i got this and loved it. Def. recommend to people.

i'm not really a fan of this. after using it for a couple of weeks, gosh. it made my hair so sticky and frizzy. i really loved the smell and i didn't really find the cap thing that hard to remove, lol. but the product was just so disgusting and that whenever i wanna straighten my hair i have to dampen it because you have to apply this before blowdrying which i found to be kind of a hassle so yeah. def. not repurchasing!

This product has been renamed MIRACLE MIST HEAT DEFENCE STYLE SPRAY and comes in a blue misting bottle. I apply this before I do ANY heat styling at all, first I apply Infusium 23 moisturologie leave in treatment to damp hair, then I apply this heat protector. It keeps my hair from drying out with the two combined products, considering that all styling products have alcohol and other drying ingredients in them, plus the heat from the hairdryer, then either the curling iron or extreme heat from the straight iron. Won't heat style unless I have this! I love that it gives out a very fine mist and not a huge blast of prodct that soaks the hair like some others I have tried. I also love the scent. HG!

I am a huge fan of this stuff. Been using it for a few years now. It definitely does its job of protecting when i blow dry...my stylist always tells me to "keep doing whatever I'm doing that keeps my hair so healthy". It's a surprise, too, because I blow dry and straighten every day. This spray bottle is sooo easy to handle, too, the price is great, and as an added bonus, it smells AMAZING. Will definitely continue to repurchase.

I bought this with hopes of protecting my hair. However, this ALWAYS ended up making my hair a greasy, smelly mess no matter how I applied it. I was trying to love this product, I really was, but even using one light spritz above my head and letting it mist on wouldn't do much of a difference. The only upside to this product was that yes, my hair felt silkier and it was extremely cheap. I believed I payed around $2. But like another reviewer said, I had difficulty setting up the spray cap and did not enjoy the smell. Would not purchase again.

Despite its popularity, I did not enjoy this product as much as others did. First of all, I had some difficulties setting up the spray cap and second, the smell overwhelmed me. The last component that probably aggravated me was that the spray after using and styling left my scalp itchy and dry. It was like a ground quavering release for me whenever i washed off the product after use. I definitely DON'T recommend this for those who has sensitive skin.

Excellent d/s find. Effectively tamed my frizzy, fried, highly colored/highlighted long blond hair, without weighing it down. Inoffensive scent-a change from the sour alcohol stench of similar d/s styling products. Will def be repurchasing

I used this alone and it made my fine hair rather limp. So, not so good. But I found that using this along with my volumizing mousse is a good combo. I shampoo and blow dry my hair every day and I was looking for something so my hair wouldn't look so dried out and frizzy. This definitely seems to make my hair look smoother and not as rough. The price is good too. I contemplated buying the more expensive Nexxus heat defense product, but this smells just like it and has similar ingredients. Smell is a litle strong though, but I use so little of it that I can't even smell it once my hair is dry.
For now, this seems to be working for me.

I randomly stumbled across this on sale for $1.99, I currently had a heat defense spray that I liked but I decided to buy this stuff...at that price, why not?
I used it the next night before going out to the club and I couldn't believe the difference. My hair was so silky and smooth. My old spray had more of a hair spray feeling, but this stuff makes your hair so soft. I couldn't stop playing with it all night! I absolutely love it and I will definitely repurchase (even if it isn't on sale)

It's hard to tell if your hair is REALLY protected from the heat, but i do know that this stuff made my hair supersmooth if i blewdry/straighten after i use it. It does not weight my hair down too much eitherI just don't really like the smell. I'm more of a fruity-smelling person, so thats the only reason why i wouldnt buy this product again.

AHH!! This is amazing! I had a disaster with tresemme too. their heat spray left me sticky, frizzy, and made it take longer to iron my hair. This cut the time in HALF and made me hair super soft and sleek. Yea!

After an awful experience with Tresemme's heat protectant spray, I was very pleased with V05's. It does leave my hair feeling sticky like Tresemme did. I even think it cut down my drying time because I definitely felt like it did not take as long as usual. I love that it makes my hair feel silky smooth and so soft when I blow dry it. I highly recommend it and will buy again!

Bought this randomly to try & think it's fab! The name is spot on - it's so light, doesn't leave hair sticky or wet, so don't hear hair sizzling when using straightners! It's really cheap, quick and easy to apply and leaves hair really soft. Will definately buy again!

Best heat defence I've used so far! Got this for really cheap & am very happy with the results. Doesn't weight down my hair or make it get greasy, it's a very lightweight spray (hence the name 'miracle MIST'...smells really nice aswell which is a bonus. It detangled my hair and left if soft/shiny. Made it really easy for me to straighten. Would repurchase!

Bought this to protect my hair from blow drying. Seems to do the trick, also helps detangle and doesn't weigh my fine yet thick hair down. I'm thinking about trying Tresemme Heat Tamer when this runs out though, just because the rave reviews on here... and I'm a product junkie, lol.

This is literally THE BEST HEAT PROTECTANT SPRAY EVER!!!! And I have tried a fair share of disappointing drugstore hairsprays and this is by far the most effective and lightweight product I have ever tried. I recently purchased it at a local Walgreens cuz it was on sale for only $1.99 and since it was so abnormally cheap, I thought I would only get what I payed for.....WRONG! I went home and sprayed this all over my dry hair and straightened it for half an hour and not ONE of my hair was damaged and it looked like everything I would want my hair to look like: Sleek, soft, shiny and straight!! It is like a genie in a bottle! It works so amazingly well and let me tell you, I don't get impressed easily! xD I just HOPE TO GOD that this won't be discontinued and as for now, I'm going to stock up in case. Try it! You won't be disappointed! ;]

I don't heat style very often so I picked this up at Big Lots for the days that I do. I really love it. Doesn't add any weight to my hair and doesn't have any strong scent to it. I can't comment on whether it does the job its suppose to because I don't know much about that but I do like it overall

Love this product, am working on my second bottle now. I recently started flat ironing my hair about 3x a week and wanted a heat protectant. I have not tried any high-end products, so I would not know if this works as well/better than some other more expensive brands. However, for a drugstore brand, it works very well for me. I tried the slightly more expensive Got2b crazysleek and did not like that at all as it was thicky and heavy. However, the VO5 is a light, watery like product that sprays in a fine mist and covers hair evenly. Can't beat that for ~$3.00 a bottle!
