For those who think their pen ran out early -- it probably just needs to be shaken and the knob twisted a few more times. The mechanism isn't well-made. If you don't get the twisting and shaking just right, either nothing comes out or you get a blob of stuff. So annoying!!
Yet, the product is very good for dark areas, and as a subtle highlighter. I love it best as a liner for my upper lip, -- after foundation and before lipstick/gloss -- to give some sparkle and make my lips look fuller. The color for #2 is just right for my fair skin, and is irridescent and translucent without being too shiny.
The pen itself is so annoying to get product out of, however, that I already bought a Laura Mercier highlighting pen when I thought this one was running out and will try that next instead.

Ok, the verdict is in, this is the best highlighting product I have found. I have tried YSL touche, Maybelline dream lumi (that one is in second place!), MAC prep + prime highlighter, Rimmel match perfection, and L'oreal magic lumi.
I use these products to highlight the inner corner/brow bone and sometimes for dark circles. Every single one caused millia under my eyes, I mean every one of them - except the Dior. Very pricey but worth it IMO, it's great for a youthful glow. I also found after using it for a few months my undereye area looked brighter/clearer in general. Very nice product, highly recommend.
If you are on a budget, check out Maybelline dream lumi which is also great.

Of the concealer/highlighter hybrids out there this one falls into more of the highlighter variety. Less coverage than YSL Touch Eclat and Chanel Stylo Eclat Lumiere, which are two of the highlighter pens that I've used previously. This feels like a product to add to an existing concealer, something I don't want to do. I like a does it all type.
I love concealers with some shimmer in it for the light reflective, wide awake aspect and this has a subtle amount, less than Armani's High Precision concealer. It added a nice glow that's wasn't incredibly obvious. This color was a good match for my pale skin (Laura Mercier TM in Porcelain, Armani LSF in No.2, MUFE Duo Mat Powder Foundation in 200), and even with the slight warm undertone it didn't look strange against my cooler tones. It has a very thin, lightweight consistency, and a smooth, silicone based texture that spreads and blends really well and feels like nothing once its on. One click covered both under eye areas with some left over. But since it's not buildable at all that's kind of pointless given that any amount I use, be it tiny or layered, results in the same sheer coverage. That sheerness and the shimmer drew attention to my circles instead of concealing them.
It wore all day without creasing or settling oddly, though it did noticeably start to disappear after about four hours so that I felt like my dark circles were showing through. The packaging is fine, along the same lines as every other pen highlighter out there. I did have to turn the dial and click it about sixty times to get the product out initially, and after that it dispensed normally. I don't actually apply it straight to my skin because of keeping the brush hygienic so I just dab a separate clean concealer brush to the attached dispenser brush and apply it that way.
I was only able to use this about four times before I experienced a terrible reaction under both eyes and my eye lids. My eyes became swollen, red, and I had hives that burned terribly. That's never happened to me with any concealer before so I must be extremely sensitive to an ingredient in here. I use Dior cosmetics regularly, powder, blushes, eyeshadows, etc. with nothing but good results so it must be a fluke. It was the only thing different I added to my routine so I'm certain this concealer is to blame.
I tried this before I bought and fell in love with Armani's High Precision Retouch and ending up returning the Dior. Even discounting the bad reaction I had with the Dior, this still didn't work well as a concealer, and it wasn't long wearing enough for me to like it as a highlighter. Lots of flaws with this one, but luckily I ended up finding my perfect concealer.

This is very lightweight and really illuminates dark areas. The pen is expensive, I am only on my first one- so not sure on how long this will last.
It is good for people that do not want heavy coverage from concealer.
It does not settle into creases! and illuminates!

This is a little peachy, gives a sheen and does not cover too much... To me, this is almost like a cream without any coverage...some kind of illuminator..? BUT it is not illuminating enough to act as such a one either... In that way this is something in between...
I suppose this is enough for those with better skintypes, I have quite dark undereye circles, that I wanted to hide... And the other areas I sometimes need to hide are blemishes...and both these two areas need more pigmented coverage...
I could use this as a illuminator, but this gives sooo little sheen, that I'd rather buy a highlighter then....
I do like the shade though, it melts in and is quite neutral. Compared to Clinique Airbrush concealer this one is less covering and more sheen, with a little more pink in the color...

Im sure I'd love this product if it matched me....I have NC37 skin this shows up STARK WHITE on me giving me reverse panda eyes....yuck:((
I'll find another use for it as a highlight down my nose and for my eyebrows but as a concealer....nope...doesn't cover my darkness and makes it look gray
The pen itself is very nice though, it comes in a click pen applicator, although it takes quite a few clicks at first to dispense the product lol and the texture is nice too. Its slightly scented but nothing too overbearing that you'd be able to smell after you apply it. Something I wish they would change about the product is that theres no way of telling when you're running low which could pose as a problem later on. I wish Dior would make more colors for darker girls, Im not even that dark i have medium skin and this wouldnt work well for anyway...probably after late NC 20's :\ I know they make One shade darker than this, I might try it next or YSL because i know they have more colors that may work for me better

I bought this after my YSL was empty. I think I prefer this one over the YSL, but I'm not sure. I think they are pretty much alike - however this one tend to melt more nicely with my skin than the Touche Eclat does.
I use the Armani Corrector underneath it et voilá, no dark circles!

I bought this concealer in February at a department store. It was extremely expensive, about 35 euros or so. Lucky that I was given a 20% discount. The product does look like a pen indeed and it came in a luxurious blue pouch. It was a joy just to hold it my hand in the morning. It did cover up my under-eye dark circles but it did not function so well as a highlighter. I liked its scent, reminded me of the Dior Skin foundations that I used to use. But the product was over in less than 2 months !!!!!! I never wasted any of the content, but still, I was only able to use it for 6 weeks........ Terrible. Now I am trying the Clinique Airbrush concealer and I am loving it, much better both as a concealer and as a highlighter.

Having run out of Touche Eclat I decided to give this a shot. While I love the gold packaging of TE better than this I love it that you have to twist the bottom of this pen to get the product out unlike TE where you have to press the bottom which got accidentally pressed many times resulting in quite a bit of wasted product and considering the $$ these pretty things cost, that was quite undesirable. Being an NC 20-25 Colour wise no. 2 in both TE and DF were perfect matches and frankly I could not detect much difference in coverage or consistency. It had a nice brightening effect and did away with dark circles and the darkening around my laugh lines but I did not find that it did anything that TE didn't or vice versa EXCEPT after a couple of days of use I got a nice neat row of tiny bumps and milia on the spots I was covering with this.
Vowing to thoroughly cleanse my face the next time I was again "blessed" with bumps along my laugh lines in the eye socket where I had used DF. so, so, so bummed considering I live in Pakistan and there are no chances of return or exchange since this came all the way from the US. I am not taking lippies off due to the milia and bumps since I would blame the sensitivity of my skin for that and am quite sure most people will not have similar problems.
Bottomline if your skin, like mine, is prone to breakouts, milia, bumps, rashes this is not for you. If you are like everyone else give this a try. it does deliver on all that it promises.

I can't help comparing it to YSL's Touche Eclat which I have been using for years and have been happy with. Obviously not happy enough since I kept on looking for something else ;-) This is my "something else". It has a better coverage than YSL, the price is lower, the color range is more natural. It's not always enough to cover my dark circles (YSL touche eclat never was!) but mostly it is. I have learned that you shouldn't cover your whole undereye area with it, otherwise it won't look natural and it'll emphasize the dark shadows instead of hiding them. So I apply it sparingly (inner eye corners, under-upper brow, down from the nose to the mouth, cheekbones). I love it because it suits my skin tone perfectly, it blends well with any of my foundations, no breakouts, doesn't dry out my skin and it stays on well. No complaints about the packaging as I haven't had any problems with it. Definitely makes a huge difference if I wake up looking tired and washed out and apply this little gem. I use it on its own as well if I am having a lazy day but yet would like to look "better" without any make-up on. In this case I also apply it onto the eyelid to make it look smooth and even. It doesn't work on me as an eyeshadow base though, much too moisturizing (eyeshadows crease on me with this booster pen on). I'd buy it again but I'd also like to try the Clarins highligher.

AVOID....unless you want to throw money in the trash. It was far the worst I have tried. It was way too drying, zero coverage, sting my eyes and skin, dried out all the eye area plus the pink color looked awfully pink, think of barbie pink....awful consistency/color/texture...and it ran out after 2 weeks. What a waist, 57 dollars in Canada...save your cash and buy a nice brush or eye palette that will LAST... for exactly the same cost !!!! It was far the most useless item in my makeup bag! I would give it ZERO lippie if I could....Although, packaging is nice, especially that they put it in a velvet pouch but come to think of it....why woudl this actually need a pouch, since it will last a month tops....would you put your mascara in a velvet pouch???

I love this product. It brightens my eyes and covers the darker circles. I don't have that much of a problem with that, but when I do, they are history. I would definitely buy this product again.

This is the best concealer/highlighter pen I've used, and I've tried most of them.
It's a heavier formula than Touche Eclat, but has major coverage. It highlights, corrects, and conceals to the point you truly do look perfect. Paired with Lancome's Teint Miracle, this really does wonders for me. Highly recommended.

I've been using this product for years and I'm having a hard time "parting" with it because I really do like it a lot. I have dark circles under my eyes that seem to have gotten progressively worse these past 2 years or so, thus I need something that gives more coverage. This is a very good product but i'm not sure if it's worth the hefty pricetag. This does not doesn't accentuate lines, nor does it look cakey or obvious. It's actually very natural and radiant looking if you apply it right. It gives my eyes a huge boost and looks beautiful. I'm torn as to whether I should buy this again or not. I honestly don't think I can stray from this product, even though it doesn't cover my dark circles entirely. This really brightens up your eye area and whatever else you want to brighten up. It also covers dark circles a little bit, but not very much. Overall, it's a very good product, but it's just too expensive and doesn't last long enough. I'm going to try the other concealers by Dior and see if they or something else could replace my guilty love for the skinflash radiance booster pen. Although I doubt they will give the same luminous effect as this.

This is very similar to YSL's Touche Eclat but I actually think that Dior's version is better. I did not realize what a difference this made in my eye area until I ran out. In place of it I got Clarin's Version which kinda stinks for a Clarins product. Within 1 hour every line under my eye popped out. So I finally re bought the Dior version yesterday and I will be honest and say that I have never repurchased a Dior product except this one. As expensive as their products are, this is the one a keeper.
It does not completely camouflage everything, but it gives your eye area a huge boost, especially when you are sleep deprived and tired. a use a little Clarins smoothing concentrate and then this one top and My my eyes look wide awake. this is also great for highlighting your browbone and even camouflaging your naso-labial fold area, which at my age, is an issue. If you ahve really bad dark circles or they are hereditary, I doubt this will help you as it may not be enough coverage. But what I like about it is that it's not drying like most under eye concealers. It covers enough, makes me look more well rested whch is about all I ask for.

Somedays this makes me look gorgeous- days where my allergies aren't uglifying me, and my dark circles aren't all that pronounced. On those other days it isn't quite enough, though I still sometimes put a tiny bit over the top of a heavier concealer. On my oiled-skinned sister this stuff is magic in a pen- I always use it on her rather than concealer when I do her makeup, and use it on the upper lid as well and she looks well-rested and gorgeous.

Love this! I works for my undereye circles way better than YSL's Touche Eclat. And it does not crease. It's the best undereye concealer for me. The packaging is convenient and beautiful. The product applies very thin, but it's enough to lighten my dark circles. It stays put until I remove it. It's Dior, baby!

i'm digging this. i let it sit around for gawd knows how long just withering away...dug it out a few days ago and now i fear i can't live without it ever. i've been experimenting with it---tried a few different ways...so far, i've had the best results applying a bit of Korres Primer under my eye first, then using a fluffy brush (MAC 224) to apply my concealer (Benefit Erase Paste #2 for my horrific dark purply-brown circles), letting the concealer sit and stew for a moment and then taking that same fluffy brush and applying the Radiance Booster Pen lightly over the whole area. i set with a Becca powder and i have had minimal creasing using this method. it brightens my whole undereye area, fantabulous. i don't like the clicky pen, i always seem to click 7 times too many and end up with globbing...it's pricey too (though mine came in some sort of kit a while back)...i thin it's a keeper though...i may try the 001 shade which is more pink if i recall correctly...i'm nw20 and this looks natural but i'm always on the search for something better.
