This smells like CK "Escape", from the early '90s.

This was my first designer perfume ever :) It smells very fresh, clean, yet mature at the same time. Stays on for a long time as well!

Eternity Summer smells very green & grassy to me but a very pleasant summer frag. I like it. It smells completely different than the original Eternity

This was a huge disappointment to me, because I'd read so many raving reviews here and thought it would smell amazing, plus I appreciate the original Eternity, so I approached the tester which eager anticipation only to find out that it smells incredibly chemical and synthetic on my skin. There is some kind of pleasant note somewhere in the mixture, but it's definitely tame. Overall, the fragrance is a mess.
I believe it has to do with my skin and not the fragrance per se, but it's a huge no no for me, sorry

I have only tried this once but I loved it! When I try a scent then cannot stop thinking about it, it says a lot to me. I kept sniffing my wrist and it just got better and better. To me this is an ideal floral because it also has a soft powderiness to it that many florals don't in my opinion. So pretty, so feminine. I hope someone buys me this as a gift real soon;)

Great fragrance, I hope it never goes out production. The only other scent that speaks to me this way is Cristalle by Chanel.

This is not too bad, the reason why I wouldn't buy it again is because I wont be using it as much. Very floral, you can definately smell the jasmine scent, but also too strong to where there's a bitter after wards.
I am allergic to certain fragrance's scents, but I I mostly prefer floral over fruit or food. There's some fragrances that as soon as i smell it I start sneezing right away. Some example of scents I like are waterlily, lavendar, freesia, amber, jasmine, vanilla, orchid, and patchouli. Some that I don't like are grapefruit, passion fruit, pear, apple, anis, orange, peach, and strawberry. But usually it depends on how they are mix and the proportion they use.

Eternity and Eternity Summer 2009 are floral scents, not at all sweet. They last for about 6 hours in a hot humid climate.
Unfortunately, they do not work with my body chemistry,.
To my nose, my idea of a pleasant floral would be Hugo Boss's Boss Femme. It is much more subtle and refreshing than this perfume.

I love this! The 2009 version is infinitely more feminine than the 2008 which smells like detergent on me. Staying power is good and the bottle is so pretty.Have to buy back-up since it's limited edition.

I really like this scent...kind of a clean, finesse shampoo base to me, but also a very pretty watery, delicate pink-floral scent. It's just light and pretty, summery yes, but I think I would wear all-year round, and would be a good office scent because it not offensive or heavy. I love the bottle, too....so pretty.

this is a review for the 2009 Edition of Eternity Summer which came out March 2009.
2009 is NOT the same as past years. I am truly enjoying this. it's light and not sharp, clean, sweet, but not too sweet. They advertise "Delicate, elegant, refined & sensual" and I think that's true...but I wouldnt reach for it if I was truly going for "sensual" - but it does have a nice mellow base / dry down. Long lasting, too.
TOP NOTES of lychee, pear blossom, ginger
MIDDLE NOTES mimosa, pink freesia, magnolia
BASE NOTES tonka bean, white cedar, musk
it seems very well balanced - not one of the above notes really slaps you over the face. it's a lovely blend. The bottle is beautiful, I love the color they added this year. The spray nozzle works great, but I could see it breaking easily - especially with no cap.
it's a great value IMO. I have 3.4oz EDP, it was around $50.
Notes in the 2008 version TO COMPARE (this is NOT what I have, but just as an FYI) bamboo leaves, basil & tangerine, Heart: lily, jasmine & neroli, Base: iris, ginger & musk
the 2009 version will be my daily wear fragrance for casual office / weekend and post-workout (won't offend nearby locker room girls on first spritz!) Of all the "summer" scents this season, this is the hands down winner for me. I already returned DKNY Fresh Blossom because it lasted all of 10 mintues. I only wish CK would make a matching lotion and/or bath products!

I picked up a bottle of this as a substitute for regular daily use since I'm running low on my Eternity Orchid *<3* Eternity Summer is on the lighter side compare to Orchid. The smell is light and fresh, so does its staying power. The smell doesn't last too long, maybe about 2 - 3 hours. Gals around me couldn't even smell it after a long walk in the park, and wandered why didnt i wear perfume?! Overall, i do like the smell, but I wont repurchase since this 3.4oz bottle will probably last for a long time...

I love this scent! I ran out last spring and couldn't wait for it to come back in. I use it almost everyday. It's light and clean. Not overpowering at all. I still have over half a bottle, so it's a good deal.

I bought this in a Boots store in London this summer after the airline misplaced my checked luggage which had my usual perfume, Eau de Givenchy. I really liked the light, refreshing, scent so I bought it and have been using it all summer. But it seems to wear off really quickly and the dry-down smells very astringent on me.
Won't be repurchasing this one.

I really love this fragrance - it's perfect for summer. It has a cool, light, breezy smell and is not too strong. It's really nice for a hot summers day at the beach!

Well, I absolutely loved this light, fresh, kind of watery floral fragrance for summer until my mother sniffed it and told me it reminded her of the scented Tampax tampons we have in our cabinet. That kind of ruined this for me because once she pointed it out, that is what this really does smell like (to me at least.) However, if you are looking for something unobtrusive and light you may want to give this a try and hopefully it won't smell that way to you!

I love this fragrance! I normally just wear the Honeysuckle body splash from Bath and Body Works for everyday, but wanted something a little more "formal" I guess for nighttime. I sprayed this one and immediately liked it. A lot of other scents give me a headache, this one doesn't. It's very light and fresh, but has a little bit more oomph to it. Perfect! And the price isn't so bad, compared to other fragrances.

The woman's side of the sample is more lily of the valley than I like and sweeter than I like for summer. Could get cloying easily. A sort of watery fresh floral. I give it an 'eh.' the men's side starts off just like Coast deodorant soap and ends as a standard men’s scent. Okay, but nothing great. More woody than floral, less Vetiver or citrus than most. Both are very acceptable, but not likely to make me run madly out and purchase a full bottle to bathe in.

I bought this yesterday at Ross along with escada sentiment. I had sniffed this one a couple of years ago and remembered that i liked it, so home it came. After opening it i realized the one i liked before was actually the version with reeds on the bottle, not clouds- so i was a bit disappointed. However after using it this morning i'm really enjoying it. Very light, clean and fresh- like a sweeter CK one. I think this one is more beachy and fresh while the one with reeds is a little more fruity and soft. Now i will have to track that one down as well! If you like clean bright scents, this is a bargain when you can find it.

My father bought me a 100ml bottle and at first I asked myself how many year will it take me to use it up. However, after the last summer I used over a half of it, because it is so....good. It always reminds me of a light summer with blue clouds and sunshine. It has pretty, refreshing and delicate floral & fruity scent (the only type that I can suffer). The only problem is that it fades quite easily (or is it the common situation of summer fragrance? maybe, because no one wants to smell the heavy Chanel 5 in the middle of a hot & tired summer day; it causes people headache). So everytime I ride my motorbike in the wind, I bring the big bottle along so that I can gain the scent that the wind loves to takes away. Just lovely!
