I have this in pink charm.
Its a really nice sheer shimmery nude pink!
Its an easy application, but i just HATE, HATE the smell of it.
Because of that I won't be using or repurchasing it.

I didn't like it (tasted funny) but I gave it to my mom and shes a huge fan. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

I LOVE this!! It makes my lips so soft and full! The color looks amazing on me! It doesn't work for everyone though, because I let my sister use mine, and it looked horrible! It wasn't even, and the color made her look like a clown! She also has another one, the darkest shade, and that looks even worse on her.
I think it might have something to do with whether or not you moisturize your lips first... I apply a little Vaseline, let it soak in, then apply this. I LOVE the applicator by the way!

I received this awhile back in the color "Pink Charm" and it looked like I swallowed a whole bottle of Pepto Bismol when I put it on. Needless to say, I won't be repurchasing.

I usually love Avon lippies, but this one is a disaster. It's a click wand which is annoying enough, but the texture of the cream is horrible. It's VERY thick and gloppy. What a mess.

i just got mine in the mail ...
i confused with the click at first and clicked way too much!
at this point i smelt something funny, oh boy, this thing is pungent indeed.
i coughed. cant put down what the weird smell is.
the texture is very thick too, i feel like im applying some acrylic paint to my lips, smell and all. i had to blot lightly with a tissue after that, thankfully no more smell. wont buy again, the smell is too terrifying for words. Update : I thought i could get over the smell if i just held my breath. But no, it didn't work. Thats how pungent it is.

Love the product, feels great going on. Lasts a goodly amount of time and have great colors, and I use it with other lip colors.

I got this because I wanted to try a colored lip balm. I got this in Golden Rose but on me it was more bright bright pink. It was nice and thick but the color was just awfull. Will not repurchase.

I got this on sale and thought it sounded good because of the moisturizing benefits and the SPF 15. The shade I purchased was Golden Rose, and it is a beautiful shimmery pink for my cool, fair skintone. The product itself is a thick cream that smooths out fairy easily with the brush applicator and has decent lasting power. It also doesn't dry out my lips, which is a problem I have with many lipsticks. The only drawback is the smell. It's a pungent dill pickle/caraway/fennel smell that frankly frightens me a little. However, it wears off shortly after I apply it and I'm fairly convinced that I don't exude pickle odors. I would buy again, but hope that Avon reformulates it with a better fragrance!

I first bought this in one of the light nude colors. It was awful and gave me old lady drag-down mouth, like a "before" picture for collagen injections. For some reason, I recently decided to try cherry. It was probably on sale. The color is much better, much more lip plumping on me. It is very bright so many people probably would not like the color. I'm fair and slightly yellow so it perks up my winter skin. I'm using a nude liner with it to town it down. The cream is thick and doesn't go on smooth, but I smooth it with my finger and it looks good. I didn't notice any smell, maybe Avon fixed that problem. I don't mind click pens, so the packaging is OK, not great. The product does have a lip softening quality that is nice, but I don't have dry lips, unless I wear nothing on them. I will probably try another color when this is on sale. It is different, lip plumping (in the right color, I guess) without obvious gloss or shimmer. I like products that make my lips look plumper without a thick layer of gloss.

I really love this stuff. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because of the packaging and the smell. I hate click wands, they're so annoying. The smell, I can't describe it but I know I'm not fond of it. Thankfully I get used to it though. I really love the consistency, staying power, and moisturizing quality - and it looks great on me. I have two colors (Double Fudge, Merlot) and plan on getting more. Merlot is a shimmery red and Double Fudge is a satiny browned down red. These go on sale a lot so they're never that expensive.

Very disappointed. I would not purchase this again or recommend it. I don't know what it is but it's not a lipstick, the color is very uneven and the pinkish color I bought looks terrible. In the trash it goes! The taste and smell is like Nair (never tasted Nair ahha)..it has a slight sulphur smell. come to think of it, I have never bought an Avon lipcolor that I have liked.

I bought 2 of these just because they were having a buy 2 for $6 sale. I got Creamy Nude (medium-dark pinky brown) and Pink Charm (medium baby pink). They have a thick texture that is not all that easy to spread, and they're very opaque with no shimmer that I can detect. Can't wear these alone. Lip gloss is a must for me when using these. The color is too dark/intense and texture very gloppy and thick until a spread/thin it with gloss. Once I do, I really like them, but probably won't buy again because there are just too many lipsticks out there that I love. The packing blows as well...it's too big for such a tiny amount of product. Waste of packaging and purse/drawer space. Oh yeah...the smell...dill pickle is almost right on. Roll a dill in some freshly mowed grass and thats it...

I am very happy with this. I bought this in Twig and the color actually stays on my lips after I am done with work. My lips are moisturized when I take it off and they feel much better. I'm a little iffy on the smell but I can live with that.

This is a very good lip stick-treatment, It does make you lips really soft and look very smooth! I don't smell is light maybe like an orange nothing harsh at all! And yes I will agree with other's that this is a little heavy but I do not mind .I will buy this again because my lips look so smooth when it is on!

Packaging..this comes in a long metal tube and you twist the color onto a brush that is built in and then apply to your lips. I really like it the color comes up right into the brush! I have this in golden rose looks great on my cool skin!
UPDATE OCTOBER 2005, after useing this more and I have come to realize this dries my lips out,I won't buy again!

I got this in divine wine. The texture of this product is very thick and heavy and it feel good on your lips, but the smell is really strong. I don't usually have a problem with fragrances in products, but this one is so bad, I can't stand to have the stuff right under my nose! The color is opaque, not sheer and it's more on the mauve side than wine.

I got this in Uptown Pink. It turns out to be a bright fuschia pink on my lips (eeww ....). That's not it - the texture is creamy, yet dry - so it looks uneven! I have to apply it again n again n again ... I also detect a weird smell .. more like melon scent to me (which I hate). So - I won't repurchase. I might not be able to finish this one, anyway!

Okay maybe not dill pickle. I smell cucumber hand lotion with a slight fruity smell. That being said, I could not stand the smell. The actual product is not so bad for a quick touch up (Golden rose is good for warmer tones-Lilac is a neato cooler tone color). But I was not impressed.

So I disn't notice any dill or pickle smell at all. To me, it smells like citrus sunscreen - which is good. But I love pickles so I guess that would've been okay too.
But the product itself is nice. I agree with the review that it is more like Stila's demi-cream than their lip shine or lip gloss. Creamy texture and goes on smooth. Very similar packaging too.
I got this in Golden Rose and while its a little too sparkly by itself, it looks nice on top of some of my other lipsticks. I would definitely try this in other colors because its cheap and I think it feels smoother than most other lip gloss/creams.

I got a sample of this in Creamy Nude. First of all, I was expecting something similar to Stila Lip Polish, but this is actually more like Stila Demi Creme. So, that was a surprise. I found this color to be too orangey on me. Also, the smell is quite odd. I read the first review of this after I ordered the sample, but before I got it. So, the dill pickle thought was in my head before I tried it. :) It does smell strangely like pickles/cucumbers. Kind of fresh, but not really. Make sense? :) At any rate, I am still thinking about buying this in a different color to give it another try. I may change my rating...
