I own so many bronzers but all of them are powder. My favorite tending to be Two Faced Chocolate Soleil, however I decided to try this cream version and WOW. What a great product. I bought it in sample size and use a blending brush. The effect is a warming and complimentary. It adds a glow that looks great and I swipe blush over it to set it and and add staying power to the blush. A litte over the nose, forehead, cheeks, and jaw line and it just melts into the skin. Very impressed.

Agree with other MUAers that it does look like a horrid muddy rose in the pot. But I have discovered my best use for this is a contouring matte bronzer. The colour doesn't run red/pink at all and works great to define my jaw line on my NC35 skin. And it is easily blendable. I can see it work on cheeks as well, I just don't tend to use bronzer for that purpose. Lots of product in the pot to last ages, I have no problem with the texture either, so will get again if i ever run out of contouring products lol.

RIS so I can't comment on price but this is an amazing product. To me it looks like a very nude/bronze/pinky color. If I want a flush that's super natural I reach for this, I also use it when I do a bronzed look. It is also good under Hard Candys bombshell blush and of course layering a powder blush over a cream blush helps it last all day. I'm glad I received this, it's a unique color in my collection.

Okay so someone has to be the first to write an average review for a product so it may as well be me! I bought a trial size of this on e-bay as i've always wanted to try a BB pot rouge and this seemed like an affordable way to do so. First problem i have is that the colour is a bit too dark for my pale skin especially in winter, it really is a bronze colour first and foremost, it may have pinkish tones but for me the overwhelming impression is "bronze" which was not what i was after in a blush. Okay so maybe i'm not being fair, i can certainly appreciate that it would be the perfect tone for a medium to dark complexion but otherwise you might want to be careful.
The biggest problem for me however was not the colour but the texture, i found it difficult to blend in and managed to wipe of my foundation as i was trying to blend it. Then it settled into my pores closest to my nose and didn't look so good. Disappointing as i had high hopes for this product.
If any of you feel like straying I've since discovered Smashbox lip and cheek tints which you can lightly swipe and blend over your cheek without taking your foundation off and they also have amazing staying power. Although i'm sure most of you are loyal followers of this product and won't be swapping anytime soon!
2 lippies as i think the colours for the pot rouges overall are wonderful and the intensity of pigment is awesome, i think it would take an eternity to finish a full size tub!

This is a great nude color which is buildable. The color is neutral and matches all my other makeup colors so it's very practical. It's easy to apply and is not sticky. Recommended.

I was given this, i didn't use it for a while becasue i always though blush was a powder in a compact and not some cream gel in a pot? haha anyway i decided to try it and i loved it! its all i've used for over a year now, everyday. i have only had to replace mine now ( i'm trying to find one but nowhere seems to sell it, near me).

it's a tiny pot but it definitly last. its fairly well pigmented, which is what i like, it looks natural and is totally buildable. the colour i have is in blushed rose and looks stright brown in the pot but is actually a slightly dirty rose maroon colour. so good for brunette's and people with light to med skin tone - olive.

The packaging is ok, pretty good actually, i mean its no heatherette right? anyhting with pink and 3D silver is a love of mine :P
but it does its job, nice little glass pot, with a thick base. shiney black plastic lid. doesn't look cheap or anything.

Its staying power is ok, it doesn't stay completly fresh like you've just applied right untill the end of the day but it does a fairly good job at it. it wears off just alittle, but not enough to bother me.

i don't use a brush to apply it, just my fingers. i find it works better becasue of blending. the only thing that kinda got me was by the time i was reaching the end of the pot, i had to use a brush to dig it out to then apply. so in hein sight the packaging would have been better if it had been a shalloow compact? becasue your finger just insn't going to fit into the small edge at the bottom.

I wasn't sure if I would like this but I did. It is a beautiful color that looks brown in the pot but gives a beautiful flush of tan color to the cheeks. Also, it works really well on the lips too. This feels more like a lipstick than a gloss which I like. It is not drying at all and does not have a greasy feel like other brands. I plan on purchasing this in Pale Pink also.

I love this stuff! Nice, natural color that lasts all day. I am sooooo bummed that BB is discontinuing this shade. I would say it is a neutral brown/pink....with more brown than pink. Still, a little goes a long way and it is blendable. I cover it with a sheer dusting of powder and have no stickyness at all - just a beautiful flushed look. BTW: I am very fair, so I would say this color works the best on fair to medium complexions.

The texture is really creamy, goes on easy, and it gives you that naturally bronze/tan look. It's not pinkish, it's more to brown and bronzy.People always thought that i have a natural tan and that i've just came back from the beach when i use this. It's a gorgeous color!

I have two of the mini jars of Summer Tan. I have a full sized pot rouge in a different color and I feel for the price, it is worth it, since the jar will last me for a long time.
I bought Summer Tan because I love cream blushes in general and I'm a huge fan of MACs blushcremes. I have been wanting a darker nude color to wear to give my face a glow during these winter months.
Summer Tan looks brown in the pot and when swatched on my hand, but when I apply it to my face, it's more of a tan pink color. It's really nice. It takes me a few applications on each cheek until I build the color I want.
Since the mini jar pot rouges are nearly impossible to get a brush into, I just use my fingers but I can see using my MAC 187 with the full sized jars and just working it onto my cheeks in a stippling motion.
I'm currently an NW20 and it looks like a nice, tan flush on my cheeks. When I'll be darker in the summer months, I can't wait to see how it looks then.

think this is a fantastic for adding some natural color without looking like a fake bronzer. i'm very fair with pink undertones and love this. i've tried most every bronzer, and this is very natural looking if you don't overdo it and use the right brush(need a stipling brush, mac 187 or something similar) if you're using as an all over bronzer. the fact that it is a cream vs. powder makes it look more natural in my opinion.

The website says Nude Brown which doesn't sound so exciting but the truth is, Summer Tan is really really more than that.

Summer Tan is a classic in my MU wardrobe. Sometimes i get hooked other shades of pinks and reds, but when i go back to Summer Tan, i fall so madly in love with it again. It turns a beautiful warm teracotta red flush on me. Im a NC30 chinese girl with very warm undertones, and can be described as slightly tanned.

Whenever i put it on i get instantly defined cheeks and that's what makes me so hooked on Summer Tan. Ive tried many other teracottas e.g MAC Gingerly but they all turned muddy and dirty on my already not so clean face, but Summer Tan is amazingly flattering!

To use, i get some amount onto the back of my hand like a palette, then i dab lightly on my cheeks. No problems with color distribution at all (just dont use it over powder, but under). Its goes on well on my lips as well and even feels moisturising.

this is my second pot rouge and i must say, i love this stuff. bobbi brown's pot rouge is the first cream blush that doesnt break me out. its very natural and healthy looking, it fits my skin tone perfectly; looks slightly like i'm wearing a bronzer! i use this for an everyday look for both cheeks and lips. lipsticks are too heavy for me. glosses are too glossy for me. but this pot rouge is just right, makes my lips looked a bit plump but not over doing it. its a perfect shade for me all year round! UPDATE: i'm using this daily in cold winter of Melbourne. Its perfect for my dry cheeks! UDATE: June 2009 - a year later i'm still using this stuff. THE BEST OF THE BEST. its been a staple in my make up bag for the longest time!

This is truly incredible and my HG cream blush. I swapped for the mini version without even checking the reviews but when I tried it on I knew I will go and get the full size as soon as I'm finished with this one. It's a warm, tannish peachy brown color in the pot. On my NW25 skin, it goes a bit more sheer than it looks but the result is so NATURAL! I definitely adore this summery shade. Also it applies like a dream on my cheeks. I like to contour with it and the texture allows me to put powder blush on it without getting dry or muddy/dirty. I use my fingers to apply as the mini jar is pretty small to use a brush but when I get the full size pot I know I can also apply it with my MAC #190SE foundation brush.

Just when my stonewashed pink was a little too pinky peach for this time of the year (hot summer) I tried summer tan and voila! the perfect blush for summer. I tried this with no idea on how it would've looked on me based on the muddy brown colour in the pot but I tell you that it is brilliant! It's like a cross between a blush and a bronzer without being orange at all or too red/pink. For reference I am a light-med olive and this work wonders on me like I was under the sun for a bit and ever so slightly blushing at the same time. So natural. No one would think I was wearing anything.

perfect neutral blush to wear with anything. the product is easy to blend with fingers or a foundation brush. it leaves a nice dewy finish when the brush is used, less dewy when i use my fingers (could just be me though). the color is a neutral tan with a very slight hint of pink and it literally lasts all day on me, just like all the pot rouges. i can wear any colored gloss with this and it's my go to color when i cannot decide which pot rouge to wear. looks great alone, with gold shimmer on top or with calypso coral popped on the apples of the cheeks. looks great with bobbi's spun gold gloss too.

The product is pinker than the brown that I expected from the swatches on the website. However, now that I'm in a bit more of a pink-brown phase rather than brown, it works. I like how small and convenient the packaging is. The product goes on the cheeks and lips very well. It's more of a stain on the lips than anything slicker or shinier. I then put some clear lip gloss over it. I like how I can use one product for both cheeks and lips. The color initially goes on quite intense, so I don't have to use much at all, but it blends to a wonderfully natural color. Pricey, but I lucked out and got it at a good price on eBay.
