I LOVE this eyeshadow. I got it in chocolate and it's perfect because it's got red undertones and makes my eyes look more alive than other brown eyeshadows do. I also got Mink which is just a darker version of MAC's Brun IMO.
I bought MAC's eyeshadows because I thought it'd be comparable because I like to wear my eyeshadows wet. Boy, was I wrong! Sure you can apply MAC's eyeshadows wet but they fade and smudge. So I went back to EL and it applies and stays like a dream. The only eyeshadow that lets me dip a wet/moist brush in without the eyeshadow freaking out and looking nasty.
The thing is I really don't like the packaging. It's kind of clunky and difficult to open and I'm afraid I'm going to break it if I open it too hard. But I'm so willing to deal with that just for the eyeshadow.

staying power sucks, almost no pigment at all, and they're just not very appealing. and too expensive.

i got a color intensity e/s duo as a gwp at least 7 years ago. the shades are 05 oyster & 08 the darkest shade from blossom duo. 05 is shimmery champagne and 08 is a dark plum. despite its 7-year age and that the hinge is completely broken, i love love love this duo. it's perfect for the office. the the powder is extremely fine and goes smoothly upon the lid. the shimmer is subtle, finely milled and not OTT. the pigmentation is great. truly great quality shadows.

I have this eyeshadow quad in Fresco. This is the first eyeshadow kit I've ever owned. In this there is white (to use as a base, or as a highlight) A earthy, pale, pink (also to use as a base for a more neutral look). A semi- shimmery golden brown, as well as a dark brown and black liner. I love the colors that are available in it, when applied, the colors look so natural on the skin and definitely make the eyes really defined. It looks like I don't have eye make up on and makes my eyes look really big too.

However, for girls who want people to notice the eyeshadow colors well, it's probably not such a great choice, because it immediately blends smoothly into the skin. As well, after a whole day, the colours tend to lessen even more and sometimes the liner will smudge, to fix this, I use the urban decay primer with it which results in a much longer staying time. The texture of the shadow is smooth with most colours matte and the golden brown shimmery. It is a really good texture and doesn't irritate my eyes.

Over all, I love the earthy, natural tones and texture of the shadow, and the colours come in sizes that will last for a very long time. As well, the application brushes are very good. Only thing I would like to see improve is the staying power a bit. I mean, it does stay on for a decent amount of time but, I like my makeup to stay on the whole day looking like I just applied it minutes ago....hehehe

Colour - 27 Khaki. This is a beautiful, highly pigmented shadow in a khaki colour with subtle flecks of silver. I use it as an eyeliner with the help of Lise Watier Metamorfix Liquid Transformer. Easy to apply and lasts all day. A little trick I learned on Makeup Alley ... sometimes eyeshadows have a film over the top ... I scrape a little of the shadow colour first and then dip my eyeliner brush into the powder.

Like most of you I'm not an Estee Lauder fan, but I absolutely love their eyeshadow quad set in the Brunette color. The set includes five shades, four of which are little miracle workers. The beige, tan, light brown, dark brown and black shades are perfect for creating a flawless, natural look. The texture of these shadows is incredibly smooth and creamy, better than any of the other brands I've tried. The $36 department store price is much too expensive, but you can find many EL color intensity shadows at bargain prices in outlet malls and on ebay.

I know that EL is not supposed to be as cool as brands like MAC or Stila but their shadows put everyone else's to shame-they go on so smoothly, blend like a dream and last. They can be expensive but they are worth it in the long run.

This eyeshadow goes on like silk and wears all day. Beautiful colors and you gotta pay big bucks for it, too. Worth it, though.

I recently got 9 of these shades in an AWESOME EL kit. The colors are beautifully rich and silky. They look and feel very smooth when applied, and I don't see any creasing throughout the day. The staying power is good for a somewhat subtle, naturally pretty look -- but a warning to those who like "dramatic" looks, these may not be enough for you. The name is a bit misleading, because I don't consider these especially "intense" -- personally, I like that, but I know some people like a more drastic look. Even if you like a heavy look, though, these are still good shades to add a little highlighting and/or shimmer (but not glitter) over or under your other shadow(s).

I absolutely love these! I use lemon for my lid and apricot for the base and it looks stunning. The lemon is an awesome pastel un-Spongebob color and apricot is a sort of pink that brings out the natural blush in my cheeks. Oh, I can't live without it!

I have several Estee Lauder shadows, and I really like them. They have a good amount of color, offer a ton of shades, apply well wet or dry, and wear beautifly. I like these shadows much more than Lancome shadows, of which I also have several.

These eyshadows are silky and soft, but they aren't as pigmented and long-lasting as MAC eyeshadows. Nevertheless, I'll continue to use the eyeshadows I got with my Estee Lauder GWPs because the colors are lovely.

These are among my favorite shadows. My favorite aspect is their application; they really are quite fine and light, they apply with ease, blend very well, and you cant even feel them. The color range is very nice, especially if you like neutrals. I have a large collection of various browns, beiges, and natural greens. Average wear time and creasing, but gorgeous and easy application.

Omigosh-I have to say this first these shadows come in some of the nicest shades that I have EVER seen! There wasn't an ugly one in the bunch! I have one called Oyster, a nice beigy/gold that I use for a natural look as it blends really well with my skintone. There are some beautiful highlighting shades here-Oyster, Eggshell and Lemon (a beautiful light yellow that I'm dying to try!) Other shades that really caught my eye were tearose (although I can't wear pink shadow it would look great on a blue eyed girl),honeydew-a lovely light green shimmer, peach shimmer a lovely bronzy/peach and so many others. I find that these have good staying power, a great texture and blend effortlessly. Definitely a good eyeshadow. I would love to get many of these-but unfortunately their price makes them only splurgeworthy. Oh well, once I save up I'll get some more!

These eyeshadow perform fairly well. Their lifespan on the lid and tendency to crease are about average. They are offered in a nice selection of colors however (I own four presently), some of which I can't find a duplicate for by other manufacturers. All in all a steady, reliable shadow.

These eyeshadows apply very smoothly and the color selection is good. They don't crease too badly on me either. Some of the shades tend to be more pigmented than others.

Well the name says it all! These colors are indeed intense. They are very vibrant and highly pigmented. In fact, I can barely smudge any of these off, and that's without shadow base or anything!

I'm not a big EL fan either, but found these eyeshadows to be generally, over all, okay. Most of the colors are too light and not pigmented enough for me, but many ladies prefer this type of eyeshadow, so that would be a plus for them. Most of the colors are pretty and the wear-ability about average. I marked that I would buy again, but probably only if there was a particularly different or striking color that caught my eye.

This is a nice eyeshadow with a great range of colors. I do notice creasing with this shadow, but it goes on very nicely and stays on for several hours without re-application. Overall, not a bad shadow.

First off I must admit that I am not a big Estee Lauder fan. In fact I rarely even look at their stuff. So I was really suprised to see such beautiful colors when I was looking at their new Color Intensity eyeshadows. I purchased Fawn, a soft neutral brown and Tearose, a pink shade. I love these. They really last and the colors are great. I will definatley buy them again. Although, the rest of the line doesnt thrill me these shadows do!!
