Well this is bergamot alright. Definitely bergamot mixed with some other citruses (lemon, orange etc.) because it brightens up the somewhat more herbaceous bergamot up a bit. But this is pretty much a straight-up bergamot scent. Very refreshing! For those who don't know bergamot is like a slightly? masculine? citrus frag. Very nice. If you love the smell of Earl Grey tea this is a good choice/try! Smells like the Earl Grey scent without the black tea! :) (Better staying power than most Fresh's).

I LOVE this fragrance. My friend gave me the Index Perfume Collection book thing for christmas one year. I went to Ireland at the beginning of the summer, and because I didn't want to pack a full bottle of perfume for fear it would break, I threw this and Sandalwood Vert in my little makeup bag. I spray this liberally because a) it's citrus, and not that overpowering and b) it doesn't last long on the skin. I've taken to spraying this on my scarves (I wear them a lot), and there it lasts a very long time and makes my scarves smell nice and fresh =). On my skin it lasts a few hours, not bad for a citrus scent, although I don't know why they call this an EdP. After a ran out of the small Index bottle in a matter of weeks, I started saving up for a full-size bottle, which is $78 but quite large. I guess it's a good value, if you consider that a standard 1.4oz would cost somewhere around $40, cheaper than your average 1.4oz perfume.
After a few minutes on, this takes on a kind of floral lemon drop scent, which I absolutely love. I didn't buy this fragrance to be sexy or anything, I bought it because it's very citrusy and happy, and I think it'll give my days a little sunshine in the crappy Boston winters. As a mood booster, this fragrance is lovely.

I am admittedly not an expert on notes in fragrances, or dry downs, but I know what I like. I like this when I first spray it, but once it's dry, it has this odd metallic smell. The first time it happened, I thought I was smelling something else, but I have noticed it consistently. Maybe it's my body chemistry, though I typically don't notice changes like this in anything else. Therefore, I recommend getting a sample to make sure that the same thing doesn't happen to you.

This is a beautiful scent that lives up to it's name. Citrus. Cool bottle with a simple label. Only criticism is that it disappears pretty quickly. I can spray it liberally almost like a body spray & it's gone a few hours later. Otherwise, it's a lovely, fresh squeezed scent.

I love love LOVE this perfume. For years, I thought I was allergic to all perfumes, since every one I ever tried (or smelled on other people) gave me nasty headaches. I loved the *idea* of perfume, though, and kept looking for one I could wear...Bergamont Citrus fits the bill. It smells gorgeous on me -- quite herby with a hint of lemon -- and it's light enough that it never overpowers. This is *my* scent, and I'm so glad to have found it!

This one of my staple fragrances! I'm very picky about fragrances and I hadn't worn or bought a perfume in 10 yrs b/c I hated perfumes. Fresh made me like perfumes again! I think it's very fresh, spicy zesty yet herbal but not manly at all. It works well with my skin chemistry. I do get compliments on it! I think Fresh's perfume are a good start for newcomers or past-perfume haters like me!

I had a sample of this that I had used up a few months ago and I finally mustered up the courage to buy a full-sized bottle. I agree with the other reviewers that it's an earthy citrus fragrance. There is also a touch of lime and sweetness, but not like Pledge, which Fresh's lemon Sugar can sometimes do. It's a wonderful citrus scent that is soo perfect for summer. One of the reasons that I love this fragrance is because it isn't overpowering. I don't like how strong most perfumes are. This fragrance is light, citrusy and lasts a few hours on me. I think that it's my new favorite.

I love citrus scents, and this is one of my very favorites, though it doesn't have the same draw as Annick Goutal's Eau d'Hadrien. The smell is lovely--I get a lot of the bergamot--and not at all acidic on me, something I can wear every day in this warm weather. It's light, but I've gotten many compliments from people who get close enough to catch a whiff. I recommend getting a sample first, as some friends have loved it on me and asked to try it but were disappointed by the mix with their body chemistry. I have to reapply after a few hours, but I don't mind as it's very pleasant... sometimes I want to spray the whole house!

Yuck! I'm so glad I got a sample before buying the whole thing. This scent is soooo lemony, it doesn't even smell like perfume to me. It smells like lemon gum drops, and not in a good way. This one is going in the trash.

Lime isn't listed among the official notes, but my first impression of this scent is bergamot and lime. The orange appears shortly after. Bergamot Citrus seems to fade quickly but does cling faintly to the skin for several hours. Sometimes I think it's unfair to expect long wear from a citrus fragrance, because citrus is notoriously short-lived.
Very refreshing; I'd use it all year long. It's appropriate for men or women.

There was nothing really special about this scent on me. It was very lemony smelling and a bit too earthy for me. Not what I was hoping for.

This is a wonderful, herbal-y citrus scent. Fresh, clean and bright, instant mood enhancer :) Not very strong, so you won't force everyone around you to smell your perfume. However, does not last very long on me (max. is about 2 hours on me). But I'll forgive that since citrus notes are tricky. Definitely pricey enough that you should get a hold of a sample to try before you purchase.

Wonderful sweet citrus scent. This smells like oranges at first and then dries down into something deliciously earthy. Top notes include sweet orange, bergamot and Paraguay petitgrain. Heart notes include Italian mandarin, transparent jasmine and green waterlily. Base includes French cypress, oakmoss and Moroccan cedar.
