I got a few small ones of these a while ago. I naturally have quite pigmented lips so this baby pink color which may appear clear to most, is actually a really nice baby pink on my lips. It actually makes my lips a lighter nicer color without putting something underneath! (which i need to do to achieve any nice color on my lips)
It does tingle a little for 'plumping' but i do agree it has a dry effect instead. But i like it since my lips don't need any plumping. I hate the sticky or greasy feeling i get from some lipglosses. The sparkle doesn't bother me as i've tried other things where the sparkle was so intense it was unbearable. This is really subtle and my lips look like really soft jelly pudding :D
The only downside to this product is that overtime it will wear away but i dont mind reapplying it since it feels like a soft layer of water on my lips.
I wouldn't buy this product again mainly because its out of production and anything left out there is expired. But if anyone knows a product that has the same color as the cotton candy gloss i'd really appreciate it if you cause message me or leave some suggestions. I'm not a big fan of gloss so i wouldn't normally buy glosses. Ii'd rather know i'm going to get this color than risk getting something i'd never use. Thanks :)

Packaging: I got the mini. It's really cute, like more or less 2inches. The label though is pretty average, nothing special!
Scent: Didn't smell like cotton candy, can't explain the scent!
Taste: zero cotton candy!
Color: baby pink but goes on clear.
Texture: This is the downside. Very thin, grtitty, and cheap quality gloss! Imagine if you bought this for it's debut price w/c was $24 for the big ones! Gosh! It's not worth it!
Plumping Power: Zero! I just bought this for the edible taste. In fact, this is my first flavored-edible lip gloss! Thank God I already have an in-born plumped lips!

I got this product for christmas along with tons of other dessert beauty products. The Packagng is small and cute which works with me. The smell and taste though is horrible. Nothing like cotton candy. To me it smells like vitman e pills which kinda smell like butter. It wasn't plesant. The texture I'd pass on to, it was kind of gritty. The only reason i like this product and would buy it again would be because it is the only lipgloss that looks good on me i find.

I bought this Lipgloss on eBay and I don't like it alot. The lipgloss is way too fluid and it doesn't smell like cotton candy. It doesn't even smell nice or something.

The only thing decent about this was the packaging. Tube is cute. I was hoping that this would be a nice sheer light pink. As far as I can see it goes on completely clear. I even tested it on my arm out in the sun and it is clear. If you are looking for a clear shimmery gloss I recommend Mary Kay's or Avon's glazewear. The consistency of this is very thin. The smell is okay. More medicinal than sweet. I thought this would have a good taste too but it doesn't. Very bitter tasting. This stuff is terrible.

I got this product as an extra with a perfume I bought on e-bay. I love her products in general and really haven't had anything bad to say about them, but this is one of the worse products I have tried of hers. I don't think I would have ever paid for it, so I am really glad that I got it for free. As for the packaging, it is cute and the color and everything is nice. My only real compaint is the taste......its very fake tasting and somewhat bitter, not sweet like the others I have tried. The smell was OK. As for plumping, there is no way that is plumped, it plumped as much as chapstick. It went on smooth so that was good and the color was nice ...the sparkles I could do without. I just cant get over the taste it left a horrible after taste in my mouth and its kind of hard to get much product out. I like to laquer my lips and I could just get out enough to barely cover them. Anyway, it wasn't one of the worse I have tried, but I would not buy this one.

I guess i got lucky unlike some other people here b/c the original price was around $12 at Walgreens. however, they had a huge clearance and you could get 2 for $5.00 or one for $2.50. I decided to get only one in case I hated it. The tube is really small (I'm not sure if there's a larger size), but it smells and tastes just like cotton candy as some others have mentioned, but they plumping and staying power is really bad. The color is a shiny, shimmery light pink that goes on really thin unless you put a lot on. As I said, the staying power wears off in about 30 minutes or less even if you're NOT licking your lips, lol. I have a hard time wearing tasty lip balms/glosses without licking them off, but this one still comes off no matter what and leaves glittery sparkles on your lips. Because I liked the color and taste, I would repurchase only at the price I got it for.. nothing more. =]

well, I'm a little torn on this one... I got it on CLEARANCE for a lot of cash, but it's pretty, kind of a sweet chewing gum pink with gold flecks, but it smells sorta ick, not at all like cotton candy, and plumping? no. I think half the hype of "plumping" is just shinyness and spakle to create the illusion of fullness...
Would I buy it again? maybe if it were MUCH cheaper...

Oh yeah, this stuff was gross. Disgusting texture, and terrible artificial taste. Consistency: like you applied lip gloss and decided to kiss the beach-just grainy and yucky. Echh. Total waste of money. Hope the $$$ I spent on this wasn't part of the divorce settlement for ol' Jessica.

this is simply THE MOST VILE THING IN THE WORLD. the taste is so disguisting i felt like throwing up it tastes artificial and the smell is enough for anyone to wana throw up too!! oh my god i wouldnt give this crap to anyone esp a 5 yr old which is obviously who its designed for.

Two thumbs down on this one - oddly enough, this one tastes more like mayonnaise than cotton candy. It's revolting, which is unfortunate, because the color is nice. I didn't buy it for the plumping qualities, however I did not notice any plumping after applying. Save your $$ on this one.

Im gonna go against the grain on this one ladies and say that I really like this lipgloss, I got a full sized tube which is 0.20 fl oz in the cotton candy flavor, it is a light blush pink with gold looking glitter in it I am a light complected black woman so and this really complmented my skintone, and it the glitter and the light color make lips look larger (my lips are full anyway though) I don't think that it plumped lips. The taste is good just a generic swellt taste and the smell was not really like cotton candy, but something fruity that I like, overall this was a good gloss i would not re-buy cause one tube will last me a while, and it was on sale for like 6 dollars I am not sure if it is going to stay that price.

The only good thing I can say about this is that it has a good smell and taste, kind of a cute color too in the bottle, but it does not pump my lips AT ALL. It is worse then the other ones I have. Also, this one started to leak two days after I bought it. :(

i bought this on a whim one day, and was surprised at the cost of it. the color is very nice, as is the smell and taste - but the "plumping" tingle does not last very long. i also feel that i need to re-apply this gloss constantly, and it tends to leave my lips dry and covered in glitter. it is a cute gloss, but not worth the money.

I ordered this gloss through the mail and couldn't wait for it to arrive. The moment I got it, I tried it on. LOVED the color, loved the smell but the taste literally made me gag!!! I don't gag easily and NEVER gagged because of lip gloss before! I couldn't believe it since I love cotton candy and love the body mist from Dessert Treats. I am SO disappointed, especially considering the color does look really nice.

I love this product! Gorgeous microglitter, intense cotton candy scent/taste, moisturizing, shiny, sheer pink lip gloss. Appropriate even for a 31 year old, I think ;-). I even use it as eyeshadow (just apply a little to top lid and blend--the sheer pink and not too intense microglitter is just beautiful!). It can also be used on face and arms (believe it or not!) and that too is pretty. I don't know about the "plumping" factor of this gloss, but that doesn't matter to me. There is a tad bit of a tingle when applying but that's it. The texture of this gloss is non-sticky and the staying powder is NOT that of MAC lipglass (forever)or BB glosses (again great), more like Bonne Bell sponge on sparklers (kinda thin and not tacky). This gloss also tastes wonderful--I put some on my arm, intending for my one year old niece to smell it, and she started licking my arm and going YUM YUM! LOL. Anyway, I waited for so long to purchase one of these Jessica Simpson items, and I was not disappointed--even at $11.99 at Walgreens, kind of expensive, but worth it!) AND if it's cotton candy, I'm there.

Out of the three flavours I have tried, butterscotch toffee, creamsicle and cotton candy, cotton candy is the winner. It smells exactly like cotton candy and tastes like it to. I love this lip gloss, and it is such a nice pinkish color. The only problem is the price. It is way too expensive, but because I love this so much I would probably get it again.

I finally got this after wanting it for a long time and was very upset. I loved the color and smell at first but then it made me want to puke! The color is beautiful but it is NOT worth the horrible smell! Dont waste your 12 dollars on this gross gloss!

i love the cotton candy smell and taste and the gloss inside is very pretty pink color. however this doesn't stay on long to ever warrant paying the $12 for it again. the overall texture is gritty and the actualy gloss is very thin, one reason it has little to no lasting power. i love the concept of edible lip gloss and the products are cute but i wish they were better quality for the money she charges for them.

I really like this gloss, oddly enough! It's a sweet shimmery light pink on the lips, the "taste" is ok, it smells nice, but not like Cotton Candy to me. Just a nice sweet smell. It doesn't plump, although you get a little tingly feel, no major bite feel. I think everything is this line is grossly overpriced. UPDATE: While I still like this gloss, it's turned gritty and I wouldn't repurchase, yuk.
