I got two of these quads (sulty smoke and summer suade) off a reduced price site and was super excited to try these but unfortunately I'm allergic to them. :( I haven't ever had a problem with Revlon products in the past but this one gave me eczema on my eye lids. Appart from that, I didn't like the product very much, they didn't seem to blend very well. They are highly pigmented which is good and have good staying power. I might have tried some other colours if I didn't react to them, at the reduced price they are decent pallets but I wasn't a huge fan.

Great if you just are using one or two colors. More than that - as others have said - not so good. I bought Lavender Fields and Nude Elements (I have green eyes) and I get a lot of compliments when I wear the Lavender Fields 2 lightest colors. The staying power is great for me - but if I use more than two colors - by the middle of the day my lids are a dark purple or brown rather than distinct ombre colors. I have repurchased these over and over throughout the years - and will probably continue to do so.

The Coffee Bean package was very pigmented. It listed steps to combine all four shades to create a nice smokey eye effect, BUT it only takes ONE hour for your creation to turn into a brown, faded mash that covers the entire lid. Anyone you meet an hour later would think you apply eye shadow like a one year old.

Best eyeshadow line I have ever used! It doesn't smear and smudge, no crease lines- just smooth even color and it lasts all day! The shades all compliment each other so sometimes I combine different shades for different areas. This is my everyday staple!

I love them in the package! But HELL NO it turns out what you see is not what you get..they are super chalky and don't last at all. Not pigmented enough! I bought 3 of these quads all at one time and I couldnt even see anything. I would prefer WNW and NYX to these anyday.Waste of time and money

Since discovering NYX eyeshadows which I now prefer over Revlon Eyeshadows, I won't be repurchasing, but they are nice foundations, my only gripe was that they would always fall off my lids without a primer which is essential for when you use these eyeshadows. I don't find the Revlon quads have super pigmentation which some people like because it's a softer look, but I like LOTs of pigmentation, especially if you are paying the Revlon price.

This eyeshadow is okay, now that I've tried a few others. When I started using makeup, I bought 6 of these: Neutral Khakis, Blushed Wines, Sterling Rose, Berry Bloom, Oh La La Lilac, and another I forget but it has turquoise and white. Of these 6, I gave away the turquoise one to a friend who has pale skin so colors show up better on her, and the Berry Bloom, only because of personal preference (didn't want to wear such pink eye shadow anymore).

I would say some colors work better than the other. For example, the turquoise turned out quite chalky, especially on my medium /tan skin tone. However, the pinks and purples for Berry Bloom was very pigmented.

So the other 4 that I kept, I find they are a little higher than average pigmentation (compare to the quads Cover Girl shadows, these are obviously more pigmented). It will require a few more layers, and sometime I'd rather use fingers to pat it on my lids for the colors to show. I don't find them too difficult to blend, but like I said, you just might need to use a bit more products to achieve. But when you get it right, the colors look really beautiful and they are true as it looks. I have used these dry and wet and they definitely give 2 different looks. For example, I used the black in Sterling Rose wet to line, and it showed up really well. They also stay put really well and didn't crease when I use a base for it. I love it how these 4 that I kept can be good for day and night!!

All in all, I think I will buy these again if they have new colors out. I don't mind them, but they are not the best. Just be a little more patience and practice then you can achieve a beautiful look with these. If I see Gems & Jewels or Sunrise, Sunset, I might give in and buy a few more..

I have been playing the "drugstore game" with coupons recently and so have been stocking up on a lot of drugstore brand makeup and I have to say that Revlon has really stepped up their game. There were a few years that I wouldn't touch a drugstore brand but times have soooooo changed;)
Anyhoo.... I got the 12-Hour in Sultry Smoke and couldn't be happier. The black is a good go-to for any dark look as well as the slate. The blue has a nice metallic and isn't "over the top" blue, and the highlighter is a great iridescent lilac. This is a really nice quad for a full look and doesn't need any other accent colors. The color goes on smooth and stays with out creasing. Really a good product and I love the color combo in this particular quad.

Revlon has by far the best drugstore eyeshadow IMO. I've collected quite a few of these quads and I love them all. All the shadows have a wonderful smooth texture and rich pigmentation and have excellent staying power. As for the shades, the quads I have (some bought in India, some bought in US:)
-Copper Spice: Gorgeous neutrals with mostly metallic finishes, which are my favorite kind of finish.
-Steel Impressions: Probably my favorite, has a gorgeous shimmery black, a deep emerald, a silver/gray and a cream/white.
-Silver Fox: I love the burgundy/plum shade in this one, and the gray. Other two shades (a shimmery white and a turquoise) are a bit too light/bright for me.
-Sandstorm: Love the finishes on all these neutrals, shades are very light though and don't have much color to them.
-Azure Mist: Navy, turquoise, gray/brown and pinkish cream. Also a favorite.
-Sunrise Sunset: Another favorite, burgundy, plum, copper and gold. I wear this one the most by far, absolutely divine for Indian skin.

Overall I love these shadows! Not all shades work on all skins of course but still very highly recommended.

I am in LOVE with these Eyeshadow Quads by Revlon! I have 3 Quads which are Copper Spice, Coffee Bean and Starlight (I added a picture with my review). I initially had reservations about buying these eyeshadows because of the shimmer they had, but I am SO glad I gave it a try anyways. Once they are on you cant tell there is a shimmer at all. This has become one of my few must have/irreplaceable makeup items.

I use Copper Spice and Coffee Bean every day. Starlight is only good for highlighting and the corner of your eyes (It's really the only disapointing Quad). I have very pale skin, red hair and blue/gray eyes, so these plane but beautiful colors are absolutely perfect for me. I use a combo of colors from both Quads. The result is flawless and deceiveingly natural. I actually use a little bit of the most coppery color in Copper Spice for my eyebrows because it's a dead on match to my hair color as well. What more could I ask for?

I think the colors are neutral enough to work for anyone, but if you are pale or have light colored eyes it's a must have.

The Quads are very pigmented for a DS brand. Definitely the best quality for the price I have found. However, you do have to use it liberally if you want the colors very dark (Some of the colors are more pigmented than others). The eyeshadows blend easily and really do last all day. Theres no smudging and very little fading, if any.

These Quads seem to last forever. Ill be re-buying these as soon as I need to.

Fabulous. I'm surprised so many people say their eye color is unpigmented. That has not at all been my experience. I put some on this morning, and 4, 5 hours later it still looks as if i JUST applied it. I love this eye shadow. Great value. If you are afraid of lack of color, don't go for neutral shades. Obviously neutral shades will not have more color because they are not meant to. What's great about these is their versatility. You can get classy day look and more dramatic evening looks if you want.

This is the most unpigmented eyeshadow I have ever purchased. It feels like I'm just putting a pressed powder on my lids. I bought this in "In the Bluff" because I thought the colors would be good for everyday use (natural tans and browns). I even use primer and this still doesn't show up well on my eye lids. I've even tried wetting my brush, but nothing seems to work. This is definitely not buildable either, it just ends up looking chalky and if you apply too much it will crease. I am giving this to my friend the next time I see her, in hopes that I will work better on her skin tone. The only thing I like about this is the packaging, it looks clean and simple. Other than that, this product is crap! Maybe the other shades are better, but I would never purchase this again no matter how innexpensive they are. I have a palette from forever 21's love & beauty line (the one recommended by juicystar07) which is a hundred times more pigmented than this for the same price!

I've bought two of these. First was Blushing Wines. Loveed that one. After about a year of wear and tear two of the eye shadow compartments broke. It lasted so long though it was still a winner. The color really lasts.

The second one I bought was Sunrise, Sunset which is not listed in the color review choices. It has a light peachy highlight, a rich bright gold lid, a beautiful true purple, and a dark plum for crease. I always find myself using the gold or purple. Love that one. It really does last too. With primer.. even better!

I love how this eye shadow comes with two different sized applicators. Makes doing a crease a breeze. Its semi pricey for me but these shadows last so long plus great color pigment, its a real bargain and total winner. Just HG product for me, love it.

I brought 2 of these in the individual pans, they were on sale at Cosmo Cosmetics for $2AUD each. I brought a shimmery white and a shimmery light pink, both colours I brought were for the soul purpose of highlighting the inner part of the eyes.
I love these shadows soo much as a highlighter for my eyes. They are smooth, blends well and last forever with or without primer.

I purchased two of these palettes (blushed wine and sultry smokes) because the colors are so beautiful and the promise of long-lasting shadow is so tempting! Swatched on my arm, the shadow from both palettes had a terrific texture and nice payoff. Unfortunately the shadow seriously irritated my eyes, turning them red and making them feel tired and dried out. I don't think beautiful shadow and bloodshot eyes go together, so I'm tossing these.

I only buy these BOGO from CVS and that places the price around $3USD each. The colors are soft and true to how they appear in the pan even on my caramel colored skin. The work good without a primer but, are almost as good as a high end brand with my UD primer potion. Some colors can be more chalky on my skin but overally they are very nice. The texture is very soft and blendable. My favorite quad is Copper Spice. I have Berry Bloom, Sterling Rose, In the Buff, Copper Spice, Coffee Bean, and Neutral Khakis. I like to take these when I'm traveling somewhere becasue if they are lost its only a few dollars and the colors are very versitile. These are great for neutral looks and they do stay on all day even on my oilier lids without primer.

I'm surprised at the mixed reviews for this - honestly, these Revlon quads are my favorite drugstore shadows. The only one I have now is Neutral Khakis, and it was the first shadow quad I ever owned that I could use all four shades from. The colors (except for the beige highlight shade, which is essentially the same color as my skin) all apply fairly true to pan color for me, and I got decent wear without primer in my early days of makeup-wearing. I had three of these at one point - Neutral Khakis, In the Buff, and a seasonal shade with white, beige, lavender, and dark brown. I tossed all three a while back due to age (and destroying the lavender one after dropping it), but found myself repurchasing Neutral Khakis recently at a Revlon BOGO. On top of UDPP, these shadows last forever and make a nice versatile eye look. I like to use the light brown on the lid and the plum over brown liner for daytime, and for a night look I blend the light brown and olive colors on the lid and use the plum on the outer V. They are not the greatest shadows in the world, but if you are on a tight budget I think they're a great option.
