This product is great, I put on every morning with a dab of wet water added to it. It leaves my face feeling CLEAN, this is better than Ambi. I leave it on my face for 10 mins then i wash it off with warm water. It's great i found mine at five and below, for 1 DOLLAR. I think every women she have this in there bag or at home. :)

I used to use this in high school, but then when I turned about 19 or 20 I decided I needed a more "grown up" skin care routine. Looking back, I don't know why I made this decision -- this cleanser worked perfectly for me. Now I'm 25 and after five years of experimenting with skin care products that always disappointed, I decided, on a whim, to pick up a tube of this cleanser to see if it still worked for me. It does. I have only been using this for a little under two weeks now (in conjunction with the Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer, which I also used in high school) and my pimples are gone, my skin is less oily, my pores look smaller, and I just have the same glowing skin I used to have back in the day. Why did I ever stop using this?!

I used to use this in my early 20s & decided to give this a whirl again. I was tired of wasting $30 on cleanser. I've been testing out past month on my super dry/acne prone skin & this does NOT dry me out or break me out. It helps me keep a clear face. I love this stuff & will never stray again! plus I love the refreshing feeling when you remove it. :) For $5 this is a steal!

I felt like this was the best product for my extremely dry skin w/ acne. I made the mistake of using foaming products before. BIG MISTAKE!!! it kept drying out my skin and causing even more acne! This is a cream cleanser (so wont dry out your skin), is oil free (so won't clog your pores) and has salicylic acid to help out w/ the acne. I also use this to exfoliate with my olay pro-x brush 2-3 times a week. I dont even need moisturizer! so far so good :)

Whoaaaa Nelly. This stuff will strip any good oils on your skin right off. I found this to be toooooo harsh. And sadly you think it is doing the trick at first. You feel squeaky clean and fresh but the reality is the natural barrier of your skins healthy cells is now stripped leaving your skin more vulnerable to break outs and pain. If you have sensitive skin you might find this even painful. Maybe those who are super oil slicks might find this cleanser okay. But keep in mind the more you strip your skin of natural oils the oilier it gets. It is like the skin is confused and produces more oil. Even if you are oily this may be too harsh. If you must use it, I would say use it once every three days.

This cleanser is just okay. Removes all makeup yes. I just prefer the gel cleansers over cream cleansers.

I'd like to claim this is my HG cleanser but...............not so much. I've been using it since '05 but i have to use it on and off. It works wonders for about three months and then I have to switch to something else because this just leaves a film on my skin.

I will go ahead and say that it most definitely DOES help breakouts, I was using Dr. Bronner's lavender soap on my face and it just clogged up my pores. I looked HORRIBLE for about two weeks because my skin was broken out so bad, I got really desperate and I went out and go this and within a week I was back to normal. About three breakouts on my face but hey, I'll take three over a super red sensitive face full of zits right?

It's cheap and it works but I will also go ahead and say that it doesn't get rid of makeup as well as I'd like so... if you're trying to "deep-clean" your face after taking off your makeup.. find something better.

Greaaaaaat morning cleanser. :)

I have been using the Deep Action Cleanser by Clean & Clear since the beginning of November 2012, I noticed results right away concerning my oily skin, however the acne solution took a little longer. But I REALLY started to see the difference in my skin when I threw out my out face scrubby and began using the Nutra Sonic face brush. I bought mine for $40 dollars at TJMAXX in the beauty section, it is well worth the money, you can keep it for a long time. These two products (Deep Action Cleanser & the Nutra Sonic) work wonders on my face together and I have noticed amazing results in not only my face but my shoulders and upper back as well! Give it a try!!

I have to wash my face twice to fully clean my face. I like smell of this product. I don't think it has any "deep action" cleanser agent so i will not repurchase this product again.

I used this for a long time when I was a teenager and it did nothing for me. It;s not a deep clean. Kind of irritating. Doesn't smell good at all. There are better cleansers out there!

I have been using this on and off since I was 16. Its oil free, non comedogenic(doesnt clog pores), and has a nice tingling sensation. I use this as my morning face wash because it wakes me up with its cool sensation, and isnt too harsh on my skin.

It does wonder to my face. Less acne but it didn't fix my oily skin issue. To conclude all, it's a great product though, but i'm looking for skin products than can fix my oily skin, i mean REALLY OILY SKIN.

This is MY FAVORITE acne cleanser. It works better than proactiv seriously....better than anything I have tried and i have tried A LOT of acne washes because I used to suffer severe acne. My face has been almost clear since i have been using this stuff i recommend it to anyone (I still have some acne, but only a little and the pimples are small, easily covered by makeup/foundation)

The overall product is very good, and leaves your face feeling fresh and tingly, like it claims to on the package. I have oily skin and this really helps take it away, but I do need to moisturize after using it. The product was for $5; not the cheapest, but an affordable price.
I would buy this product again because in the past few days, its cleared up the small amount of acne that I had and helps keep it oil free for up to 2 hours or so after use.
It's not the best, but I still think its a good product, at a good price.

I have combination-oily skin. It's too drying for me. I thought I was rubbing a balon when I touch my face after washing with this. Also this gives me breakout!!

I really like this cream cleanser. It leaves my face feeling tingly and fresh and isn't full of oil and harsh chemicals. I use the sensitive skin version, so that also helps my face to look it's best! I'd recommend this to girls who are looking for a quick and easy daily skin-care routine any day!

I LOVE THIS CLEANSER. I've used really expensive products such as Sothys face cleansers and so forth. I still love this cleanser, it is NON-DRYING, leaves the skin nice and tingly, and has no residue whatsoever. It also removes make up. I recommend using a generous amount and whipping it onto the face using circular motions on areas that are especially oily. Rinse off, and Voila! Shine free beautiful skin, no drying.

This has been my cleanser for the past decade. It's a creamy cleanser that has no lather yet adds a tingling sensation after washing (due to the menthol). This cleanser also has salicylic acid for the "deep action" treatment. Now, when I chose this cleanser, I liked that it had a few ingredients and the fact that there were no harsh detergents. I used this religiously day and night. When I wore makeup, I would do a double-cleanse and it was fine. However, with long-wear and waterproof, you may need to use a cleansing oil prior to this face wash. One thing I really love about this cleanser is the fact that it NEVER dried my skin out. For reference, I have combination skin (dry cheeks). I don't normally moisturize and I never felt compelled either when using this face wash. While I don't have flawless skin, this cleanser certainly did not contribute to breakouts. Now that I have gotten older, I have switched cleansers but this is still in my cabinet. I will reach for it if I want that tingle. I do recommend this cleanser if you can't handle harsh cleansers.
UPDATE: Went back to using this cleanser because it does a good job of cleansing without stripping my skin!

I just ran out of this product! (Boo!) I really enjoyed using this facial cleanser. I love the tingly cool feeling you get when you put it on your face! When I removed it, I couldn't believe how smooth my face had felt! It honestly felt like butter, I could not stop touching it! (Yes, I know really bad habit to get into! Lol.), However, I had to make sure I got every inch of it off, before I got out of the shower, because it can also leave your face very oily if you don't take it off properly. Overall, I felt it was a good product! I tried something new, and I hate it! I'm going to go purchase this again today actually!
