The duo liner is an extreme white. The opposite side is black. For those who are looking for white. This is the whitest liner I have ever tried. It would be a great purchase for those who want or need a pure white. The black looked impressive through the package. It is super black however it's performance is poor. No matter how many quality eye primers, paints and decreases are used. The black immediately creases, smudges, turns grey and wears off within less then an hour. In conclusion "Trend Setter" is great for the white side. The black is very poor and is somewhat irritating. I can't say one good thing about the black liner.

I have the Vamp 006 one (medium brown and champange). The colours are gorgeous, and I absolutely love the champagne colour (applied in inner corner) for when I want that extra "pop" in my eye makeup look. Especially for the fall, but also works great year-round when using neutral eyeshadow. The medium brown works great if you use it to line your lower line, and the champagne liner is good for mid to inner corner on your lower line, other wise I don't recommend this product, especially if you want intense drama. You could, however, use the brown liner on the top line if you wish to create a natural look, but I prefer to have dark line on the top with a subtle line on the bottom. I felt that it was barely visible when I used the brown colour on the top line, and I have pale skin. So if you want a natural look or want subtle eyeliner on the bottom line, then this product is for you. If you want an intense eye-look or want to look like you're wearing eyeliner then I don't recommend this product.

very good for lining eyes since its very dark. but it does smudge VERY easily. you must you a good primer to hold the color in place on your lids. & line under your eyes with a good eye brightener to prevent your eyeliner from running

This is an awesome eyeliner!
I have it in Beauty Queen, a deep, rich black and a dark brown.
They are very creamy, pigmented and smudgable. They are incredibly pigmented!
On the waterline and the lashline, the last all day.
Simply amazing, and I love that you get two in one!

I hate this eyeliner. It smudges on me like crazy. Though the texture was super creamy and it didn't tug my eyelids, I will never buy it again. For those with oily lids, steer clear of this. It fades away super fast. Really wanted to love this, but still, it underperforms terribly.

I like the idea of the two ends, but ONE of them doesn't work for me. I have the one with two blue colours, and only the light blue works!
The dark blue is extremely hard, and drags and pulls along my eyelid, making very scratchy lines. The light blue one on the other hand, works great! I use it for the outer corners of my lower lashline, and it looks great and lasts for the whole day!
I wish I could have just bought half of this pencil.

This is my HG eyeliner! I have it in the brown/blue duo, which is called Funky Chick, and I use it basically whenever I use eyeliner. On one side is a dark brown that goes perfectly with my hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes, and delivers a pigmented line that makes my eyes look super intense and really pretty! The blue side is a really nice bright blue/turquoise colour that compliments my blue eyes when applied right along the upper lash line. The colours are fantastic, they were a good price (about $4 or $5) and they stayed put throughout the day.
Unfortunately, I think Rimmel has discontinued the Two-Tone Eye Definers, because I have not seen them at any drugstores for several months now. =(
A great eyeliner though!

I'm not an expert when it comes to eyeliner because I don't wear it as often as others, but I can recognize a good one when I use one. I bought this liner a year ago on sale for 3 bucks or something and thought it was a good deal for a black and brown (004 beauty queen). I didn't expect it to be so smooth and highly pigmented, but it is. My only complaint is that on my waterline, it doesn't last all day. On a better note, the liner didn't smudge on me. I don't mind reapplying liner 2 or 3 times a day because it's a quick easy process. In simple words: I like it.

I never appreciated this eyeliner until now. I bought this in It Girl which has sort of a tan colour and a brown. I use the brown on the lower and upper lash line and the tan on the water line. It emphasis' my eyes and is natural enough to wear to school. It applies nicely and you don't need a lot of it. It does smudge a little but I don't mind it.
It's great and I'm glad I went rifling through my makeup bag to uncover my love for this.

I got this because it was on sale, I got "pink princess" light shimmery pink on one end and purple on the other. I will say, it looks good when I first apply it, but I went to work and then looked in the mirror three hours later and it was smudged all underneath my eyes and I didn't touch them at all! So the staying power sucks, but the colours look awesome, I don't think I'd repurchase though, because this will last awhile and I need something that wont be smudging like that.

I have been using this eyeliner for about a year and a half now, but the pencil isn't even finished yet (although that may be because I have about a billion eyeliners). I have this in 001 City Girl. One side is a classic black and the other is a dark grey -- a good selling point for me. I always use the black side because the grey doesn't show up very well against my brown eyes and tan skin. A plus for Rimmel is that this eyeliner goes on smoothly and easily -- I only have to apply one streak along my waterline. However, what I've come to notice is that I ALWAYS get raccoon eyes after about 3 hours of wearing it. That may be because I have oily skin, but I have other eyeliners that don't smear even after the whole day. I recommend that you use it sparingly -- would not repurchase once I finish this. Perhaps a lighter colour would make me look less like a raccoon.

I love this eye liner. I have it in 008 london girl, a shimmery light green and dark green shade. I use the light shimmery color first then the apply the darker color on the outside corner of my eyes. It makes my eyes look bigger and brighter. It's pretty cheap too and it lasts a really long time.

I only bought this eyeliner because it was on sale at my local drugstore. I was just starting with makeup, and i decided to get the one with black and brown. The double-sided pencil was something i really like about it. Too bad it smudged really bad! if i put it on my upper lash line, 1 hour later, it was all over my bottom lash line.

My all time favorite eyeliners for liner my bottom eye-lid!
I like that theyre smudgy and after you apply it, it slightly fades and really defines your eyes nicely without making it really obvious you're wearing eyeliner.

My ALL TIME favorite eyeliner. I absolutely love this stuff. I have it in 8 shades (4 pencils). "STYLE QUEEN" is a dark green and a light shimmery green. "PARTY GIRL" a dark blue and sort of sky/robins egg blue. "FUNKY CHICK" a brown and a teal color. "TREND SETTER" the traditional black and white. My favorite by far is TREND SETTER, the white is great for the inner corners or the waterline to really make you look awake and I wear the black on a daily basis on my waterline and tightline..even the the black tends to run into the outer corner of my eye after a few hours but I dont mind reapplying. The liners go on so smoothly and you dont have to go over it 500 times to get the color to show.

I bought this in London Girl shade which is a nice dark forest green that's almost black on one end and a metallic shimmery olive green on the other. I love this eyeliner because it doesn't tug on my lids. Application is so easy the and it lasts quite a long time on my lid no smudging. I use the dark color on my upper lash line and the metallic olive green on my lower lashes for a nice soft effect look. I already bought me an extra because I just love this color on my eyes. Also be careful because the product itself is quite soft it can break off easily. (^_^)

This is one of the best eyeliners I have ever used. The idea of having two colours is great. It really defines the eyes. Also, this liner is SO soft. You don't even need to use a lot of pressure, and yet this liner still draws on unbelievably dark lines. The only problem with this eyeliner is that it smudges. A LOT. I went out for a jog with this liner on my top lid (I was wearing the black side of Beauty Queen) and when I got home, the liner had smudged to the bottom outer corner of my eyes. Looked like I got punched. I guess my recommendation is not to do any exercise with this on, or you'll have racoon eyes. Other than that one experience, this liner is great!

I've had this eyeliner in two different colours, which I've now forgotten because I've thrown them both out.
The first was a light/dark purple combo that, while adept at bringing out my eye colour, was kind of tough and hard and not easily blendable. Still, I liked them and only threw that one out because it was old.
The second was a black/white combo, which while being a lot softer and more blendable, didn't last for any amount of time. I could put it on and literally five minutes later, it was completely gone.
In conclusion, Rimmel failed twice at making a decent pencil liner and I would not recommend this product.
