It's expensive, but it's the best face exfoliator I've found thanks to the bamboo. Much finer than sugar, apricot kernels, scrubbing beads, etc. It usually lasts me a while. One lippie off because I'm certain there must be some knockoff out there that's as good without the exorbitant cost. Until I find it, I'll buy this.

This is definitely a high-quality scrub. The bamboo particles do the job without harming skin and the honey base is soothing and has anti-bacterial properties to help the jar from becoming contaminated. I believe this has been discontinued which is a shame.

Used this exfoliant for a year. Pricey but great exfoliant. After each use my skin feels very soft and radiant - actually feels like baby's face. Also, it erases my wrinkles on forehead. Will definetely repurchase.

This honey scrub is probably the best exfoliator I've found for my sensitive skin. The first time I used it I was having an issue with flaking dry skin and it really did the trick to get things nice and smooth again. The SA I talked to said the bamboo particles don’t break down like in other products so they really get everything. I was sceptical at first as I usually find most scrubs will still leave some flakies behind, however this product delivers. When you wash it off you are left with clean glowing skin. Also it’s okay to use a couple times a week without irritation.

I bought a travel size of this as a replacement for Dr. Brandt's Microdermabrasion in a Jar. The bamboo particles are fine and not gritty, but the texture is so weird -- it slides off my fingers as I dip them into the jar. It smells great though and I use it to scrub my lips as well (yum).
$50 for the 100g full-size jar.

Runny, odd-smelling, poorly packaged, expensive. Try this instead, ladies... you won't be disappointed: Mix one teaspoon fine sugar, one teaspoon honey, five drops fresh lemon juice. Apply to face, leave for one minute, rinse. Follow with a gentle cleanser. Your face will be soft and glowing the next morning. (It's better to try this in the evening, since lemon will make your skin temporarily sensitive to sunlight.)

You have to mix it, which is a pain. It's pretty expensive, and I didn't notice much of a difference in my skin.

This is just OK. While it does last a long time, I find it to be really ridiculously expensive for what it is. Yes the ingredients are high quality and it does smell very nice, but I can't see that it is doing a much better job than other scrubs I have used from Kiehl's or other less expensive brands. That being said, it does do a nice job. I use it about twice a week and I my skin feels a little softer and not scratched up or raw - this is pretty gentle but effective. I am not a big fan of having to mix it with a toothpick prior to each use just to reincorporate the bamboo particles that have settled at the bottom of the jar. It is a fine scrub and it does it's job - but it doesn't do a 48 dollar a jar job. I will not be repurchasing.

Like all Fresh products the ingredients are delicious and luxurious. Very fine quality. BUT I didn't see any better results than I do w/ a drugstore brand like St. Ives or Nutrogena. I like Dermalogica much better for the price. Since I use my face scrubs in the shower I prefer a tube or pump. This comes in a heavy jar. The lid will break into pieces should you drop it on, let's say, a hardwood floor ;-)

the scent is superb, as well as the price. i dont like the pot design. and the particles somehow too abrasive. but i still give it 4, why? coz when i apply and massage, i dont feel it irritates my skin nor causes itchy / painful feeling of those bamboo extracts powder, it really tones and conditions my skin, very smooth after applications, adn the ingrdients are really like REAL honey, you can feel you are really doing a luxurious treatment

I just recently got this as a present. And I've got to say, this is the best exfoliator I've found for my sensitive face. I've been through a lot of them. Despite the price, I can use this 3x a week and nothing bad has happened to my skin. I'd definitely buy it again.

I'll be honest--I don't know if this actually does anything or not, but I do enjoy using it, just the same. It has a rich, decadent honey scent, and has just enough texture to make me *think* it's doing something, at least. In general, I'm not a big fan of scrubs, because they usually feel like sandpaper, but this one is just about perfect, and you can beat the fragrance.

I got a free sample of this recently and the smell is absolutely gorgeous! However, the price is ridiculous as with most Fresh products and it didn't make a big difference to my skin.
If you don't have problem skin and just want a scrub that will exfoliate and smells yummy then this is fine - if you're happy to spend that much money, of course!

I am glad I got the 1 oz. size of this. It's a good exfoliator and a little goes a long way. BUT it's very expensive, and I don't like the fact that you have to stir it every time you use it - I gave it a 1 on packaging quality based on that alone.

love the honey and bamboo combination, the consistency of this scrub is abit too watery though but gives my face a good scrub with the honey soothing qualities and natural bamboo exfoliant.

this product works great on my skin. I've tried a lot of scrubs and this is by far one of the best (with kanebo silk peeling powder) I use it only two times monthly because of my sensitive skin but it smells wonderful and the jar will last you for a long time.

The Honey Refining Facial Scrub is a very gentle scrub for my combo skin, so I use it mostly on sensitive skin days. I much prefer the Sugar Scrub with Strawberries from Fresh for thorough exfoliating. That one is my holy grail facial scrub. The honey scrub is a pretty good scrub, with very tiny and fine bamboo particles that exfoliate. The honey also acts as an exfoliator, for a double-exfoliating action. It leaves my face lightly exfoliated and soothed. The honey scrub smells like natural dark honey and feels sticky like it too. It's a nice sticky feeling though, not gross. It washes off easily for me and doesn't irritate my skin at all. The price is high, but it does last forever and is a good product to have around to use once a week. It is true that you must stir it up before using, as the scrubbing particles settle at the bottom of the honey gel.

This product was hard to use and it seemed to do nothing for my skin. The packaging was less than ideal because of milky-colored glass jar can break and you have to scoop the product out. I think a squeeze tube would be better. In regards to the product itself, it caused me to break out on my chin and its exfoliating abilities were lackluster. I think Queen Helene does a better job.

Ridiculously expensive, very mediocre product. It just sat and sat in my drawer because I couldn't bring myself to endure the strange, funky scent of it! Looks and feels like honey, but with a graininess to it. Does absolutely *nothing* for skin, and will leave a large dent in your budget. Truly, there are much better products that perform better at the drugstore. Save your money on this obscenely overpriced dud.
