I bought this off of beautyjoint.com. This is a gorgeous shimmery beige color that is Perfect as a highlight or just an all over Lid color. I love using this when I do neutral eyes with this all over Lid, brown in the crease and a black winged liner. These shadows for in a Mac palette, only thing you need is a magnet for it. Def would repurchase this and check out other shades! :)

This is a great lid and/or highlighter shadow for those of us with a deep dark skin color. It is not chalky (which is usually my fear whenever I see light colors), it is sheer but with a decent and delicate color, it has a LIGHT shimmer to it. It is a fantastic neutral and ideal for those of us who always tend to reach for MAC Vanilla pigment but want to tone done with that bright shimmer that MAC's Vanilla pigment gives off.... Milani's beige is a bit more yellow and less shimmery (*much* less shimmery) than Vanilla pigment. It is great fr a professional toned done neutral look. If you're into neutrals, this is a great shadow to reach for

Agree with lovelyliisa's review. Classic Beige is a sheer vanilla frost. Just gorgous paired darker brown/rust/charcoal in crease or on lids with brown liquid liner. Wonder e/s for all complexions. Not included in any of the newer Milani Quads. So glad I found it at Shopper's Grocery Store. (DDD NW45ish or HIP818)

The name says it all! A classic, neutral light beige eyeshadow with shimmer. Easy to blend and stays put fairly well. All in all, a good buy like most Milani shadows.

this is a great basic, no fuss, no muss eyeshadow for me. classic beige applies a light beige with the barest amount of shimmer on my lids. i use this over lumenes eyeshadow base and it lasts all day on me. this color is boring, yes, but what it does beautifully is even out and brighten my eyelids. this is nice especially for those days when i am wearing a super bright eyeliner (MAC cranberry e/s used as liner, or MAC blue peep fluidline, for example); the simplicity of the eyeshadow helps accentuate the brightness of the liner. i just add some black mascara and its a perfect look for teaching, fun but not distracting. the texture is wonderful (milani is hit or miss for me), but for some reason this particular container refuses to open easily (ive never had trouble with other milani shadows or blushes in the past). overall though, these shadows cost $3.50 each, definitely cheap enough to play and experiment with fun AND neutral colors.

This is my HG neutral e/s. Even if I don't get enough sleep or are sick, a little bit of this and I look bright-eyed and bushy tailed! Both of mine look more like a soft gold with no silver, so it looks really good with my neutral PPP skin. A must have even if you aren't a neutral e/s person!

This is my first Milani eyeshadow - I finally ran out of my Rimmel duo in Walnut Pearls (the lighter shade), so I wanted to try something else to use as neutral, beigy shadow to even out the pigmentation on my eyelids. This was more gold than I expected (don't know about the silvery effect some reviewers are talking about), but I still love it. It really makes my eyes look bright and awake. Staying power is pretty good - lasts about 6 or 7 hrs, & only creased a little when applied over face powder. I'm not taking anything off for this, because I think it's just a fluke with the one I got, but the package is next to impossible to open. It hurts my fingers to pry it open and leaves a nice dent in my fingertip - since no one else mentioned this, this one must have just been messed up.

By looking at it, I'd never have known how gorgeous it would make me feel. It's a pale gold shade, which I became addicted to after trying Mark's Toute Sweet creme eye shadow in Frou Frou. Without any mascara, falsies, or eye liner, this gives me the gorgeous cateye look I adore.
I'm so glad I spent the mere $2.99 on this gem, I will definitely have to stock up now. Gorgeous, can't go wrong color. My HG shadow (I've used cheapies such as Color Works, as well as MAC, and Almay).

Recently I bought several Milani eyeshadows all at once by mail order (I live in the UK where Milani isn't commonly available), and, to my surprise, this unassuming little number is the best of the lot of 'em.
One thing it isn't (as other reviewers have noted already) is "beige", its far too light and shimmery a colour for that - I would consider it "warm cream"; for myself (MAC NW20- 25 ish) I would describe it as the natural "highlight colour" of my own complexion - ergo Classic Beige makes the absolutely PERFECT "subtle but classy" highlight shade for my eye makeup. It's beautifully shimmery - though not too glittery or full-on - slightly translucent, and applies smooth as silk on my skin. An absolute winner and actually smoother and overall *better* than many more expensive brand "highlighter" shadows than I have used in the past.

Thanks to J. I can try Milani product whereas they are not avalaible neither in Canada neither in France :(
This shade didn,t impressed me at the first look, but I decided to try it. Of course this is not an original shade, but I really love to use it to brighten the inner cormer of my eyes when I do sophisticated makover. Most of the time, when I am in a rush I use it as a single e/s on my whole mobile lid, and this awake my eyes. This is a terrible e/s for the difficult morning....it makes me look fresher and more energetic.
This is very well pigmented and long lasting.
A very good shade, basic, but you can't go wrong with it.
A staple always in my bathroom.

Classic Beige 16A is a pretty flesh toned, slightly shimmery color. It is very yellow so if you’re looking for a pinked or champagne kind of color, skip this one and go with Peachy Peach 08A. I reach for this more often that I had orginally thought. On me, it’s very subtle, it kind of creates a NARS AAE effect. Great for a polished, you but better look. I’m a NC15-20 ppp with light green eyes and blondish/brown hair.
I absolutely love the staying power of Milani shadows. I wear a primer most of the time for my oily lids, otherwise, anything and everything will disappear within an hour. However, Milani’s shadows are the ONLY brand that doesn’t...something I would have never expected from a d/s product. About the same quality as MAC’s nicer formula shadows and a 1/4-1/3 of the price so you don’t feel guilty about experimenting with colors you may not normally go for. Milani has slowly replaced nearly every MAC shadow I have (except for Nocturnelle).
Of course many of us have issues with the packaging and it being difficult to open. I actually think the little pots are cute, I just wish I didn’t have to use a tool or risk sacrificing my nails to get into these babies.
At about $3-4usd, this are a fantastic product at a superb price that can allow you to experiment outside of your comfort zone and not feel guilty. I will most definitely repurchase!

More yellow than I would like, but a nice highligher all the same. More shimmer than glitter and a very smooth application.

more silvery than beige on me. and I do not look good in silver. I tried using this on the inner corners of my eye, and I did not like this. quality is still great, but this shade is not for me.

This is a great color. I expected it to be a light beige, a little warmer than it is. It goes on almost a pale yellow as another member stated. It does a great job as a hilighter and an all-over wash. I love it because it really brings out my brown eyes. My eyes are deep set, and often have dark shadows around them because of this. This shadow really brightens them up. This has become a staple of mine.

Beige? Where did they get that at? I think it's more like a creamy yellow. You really have to pack it on if you want it to look like the color in the pan. It's a good highlight color or I use it as a wash when I go to work. Nothing special but it's decent.

Classic Beige is a shimmery cream color that shows up more as a slightly warm shimmer without much color on me. I've never really been into drugstore eye shadows but Milani's eye shadows are really pigmented and also have great texture. This shade looks really close to MAC's Shroom eye shadow on me. It wears well and is one of the shades that I reach for often.

I seem to be the odd one out--I'm not a fan. I bought 2 of them (both of which are up for swaps right now), but it simply didn't work for me. The base color is very pretty...a creamy yellow color...but the silver microglitter just didn't do it for me. A golden shimmer would have worked...but the silver is "off" against my skin. I normally love shimmery shades, yet this is too glittery to be used as a highlighter. Will not repurchase.

This is an HG for me. Similar to MAC's Shroom, Milani Classic Beige is a perfect color for an all-over base or highlight on my cool-tone PPP skin. It's great paired with neutral tones like MAC Coquette, Milani Spice or Java Bean. Great quality.

Plain old highlight color with some shimmer. Nothing spectacular, but I don't really want anything too shiney on my brow, so this suits me well. It is a nice balance between sheer and opaque for me. I blend it with a number of my Milani and MAC shadows and it always works well.
