My mother bought this for me after my hair was extremely oily and I had a lot of dandruff. I didn't like the drug-store shampoos like Pantene which had too much sulfate. When you use this shampoo it doesn't lather as it is a higher grade shampoo. When you rinse it all out you have a cooling sensation and it is amazing! I wash my hair with Redken Oil Control on days I go swimming or have sport and then I mainly use Terax. It leaves my hair, less oily, stronger and silkier!

My fine hair has a tendency to get really oily. I used to be able to get away with washing my hair every other day, but I now have to wash it daily as I got my hair cut into a short bob. I love the style, but greasiness is more apparent in the shorter style. This eliminates the greasiness at the scalp yet does not dry out the hair so it's okay for me to use it daily and there are very few shampoos that can do that. A little goes a long way too. I use it in conjunction with the Crema conditioner and the condition of my hair could not be better!

This shampoo has a REALLY strong eucalyptus smell. A bit overpowering. I think this shampoo would be good for someone with oily hair, but I think it is too drying for daily use for my hair. My hair feels squeaky clean after washing with this which makes me feel like it's taking out too much of my natural hair oils.

I think this is a good option for a sulfate-free shampoo for oily or combo hair. It's certainly better than Jonathan volume shampoo (which is also sulfate-free.) However I still find that this shampoo builds up and for that reason I use a clarifying shampoo once a week in combination with this. It smells like eucalyptus, kind of like Nexxus Pep'R'Mint shampoo, if anyone remembers that.I use this with a light, silicone free conditioner such as Jonathan no-frizz rinse. I will buy this again.

I was very disappointed in this shampoo. I have long fine hair that gets flat and oily at the scalp and needs shampooing every day. I didn't notice any improvement after using this product. I don't like the mediciney smell, either. This stuff is way too expensive for such poor results. EDIT 10-06-06: Okay, this works pretty well during that time of the month when my hair seems extra oily. The smell doesn't bother me anymore, either. I might possibly repurchase but will probably try other brands first.

This shampoo left my hair feeling clean, but not stripped. I have normal/oily hair that needs to be shampooed everyday. I haven't found Bosco to dry it out at all. It smells sort of like Vicks vapor rub, which isn't a bad thing to me. All scent rinses away and I'm just left with clean hair. I'll definitely repurchase.

I tend to have oily roots and dry ends. This shampoo addresses the oil without drying the ends - something I've been looking for in a shampoo forever! I have repurchased this over and over again. I love it!

Dried my hair to a frazzle - made my scalp overproduce oil. Stinks.

Terax Bosco is a shampoo for oily hair. I have pretty oily hair (it's fine-textured and needs to be washed at least every other day), and I find this shampoo to be a good de-greaser for my hair. What was different to me about this shampoo was that it left my hair very soft, even after washing it my usual two times.
The only negative qualities I can name are its hefty price and its scent -- as with most oily hair shampoos, this one smells very medicinal. It's a sharp scent, vaguely like mint or eucalyptus.

I went to a new salon and they used this shampoo on me. I really liked the smell and it did a very good job of cleaning my hair and making it manageable. Thx for the tip to buy at luxbeauty.com, I hate paying full price.

Great for my oily roots and dry ends. I use this product 1-2 times a week to remove hairspray build-up and grease. The rest of the week I use a shampoo for normal hair, and they complement each other nicely.

it's ok. it didn't really help my oily hair situation, but it smells nice while you're using it (doesn't leave a scent in your hair), lasts forever because it's highly concentrated, and the packaging is cute. no miracles, though. i paid 14 at sephora, but saw it for 11.99 elsewhere, so you can shop around.

I'm a big fan of Terax, as you might be able to tell from my other reviews, and recently I decided to buy the Terax Bosco Shampoo for oilier hair. I was my hair every two days, and believe me, by the the second day my hair is lookin' pretty greasy. Most shampoos don't get my hair feeling clean. Bosco is an exception. My hair feels clean, light and swingy. It's a keeper. (If I washed my hair every day, though, it might be too drying.) It has a strong mint scent. I shop for Terax at luxbeauty.com because it's such a better price there.
