so I initially decided to get this due to some purging I have been having from microdermabrasion. this did not work for me what so ever. I get small clogged pores but after my micro I had been having huge volcano pimples but this did not help. my period is due on its way and this did not help prevent the normal breakouts either. i just did not see a difference at all.its 3 weeks now and i saw no difference the cream does work but i personally didn't even like that ...its way too drying. and flaky dry skin is not cute! this may work for some but not me...it cant hurt to spend 10 bucks.

I cannot believe this works so well for just ten dollars! I stumbled upon this at drugstore.com. The reviews for this is outstanding and it was like each reviewer had the same issue as me. I only break out with a cystic pimple here and there that takes forever to heal. By the time I heal that one I get a new one and am always left with a red mark that lingers. I always figured my issue was hormonal and being on Yaz did help but once I switched to generic for financial reasons it quit working. I never understood why I could not keep my face perfectly clear. I exercise, drink tons of water, and have dropped a small loan on Proactiv and other products. I always always wash off my makeup.
Sorry, I will try to keep it short. This stuff is amazing. The pills truly do work for hormonal issues. I tried the cream twice and really liked it but I do not have any pimples on my face so I do not feel like I need it. It does contain 5% BP so it can dry your skin out. I do not have near the amount of oil that I had and absolutely zero cystic pimples. I will never be without this stuff. The price is great. Most scripts will cost you at least ten dollars for your copay. If you order from drugstore.com you can even build up bucks back with them that goes towards future purchases. I highly reccomend this product for women suffering from this issue. Good Luck! I do not believe this is sold in stores btw which is a bit of a bummer.

I love the fact that the pills are all natural. They seem like more of vitamins for your skin than anything else. I love love love the benzyl peroxide cream. It works like a dream without drying out my skin. I was going to go to my doctor and get antibiotics to improve my acne, but I decided to try a more natural approach. I am so happy I did. I've been using the pills and cream for about 2 weeks now and I already see much improvement. The real test will be how it affects me before that time of the month. I'll be sure to update :)

This product absolutely works. I’ve tried EVERY acne system you can name, I promise, and none of them really worked. This is the first oral acne system I have ever tried and it really made a difference. I would say I have moderate cystic acne… some might say it’s severe at times but I think it could be worse. Within a week of taking this product I saw changes in my skin. I have this patch of tiny whiteheads under my lip on my chin that I’ve had all my life; you can’t see it unless I suck my bottom lip in but it is GROSS. This product cleared that up in like 2 weeks. That area of my face has NEVER been clear of those small whiteheads prior to using nature’s cure. So because I was drinking so much water and eating healthier when I first started taking this I thought maybe that was clearing my skin or maybe my skin was just getting better and I could stop taking the pill and I’d be ok… nu uh. I didn’t start breaking out right away but about 3 weeks later I started to get cystic acne all over my chin, after I’d had some sugary drinks, and a few pimples on my cheeks and forehead. UNFORTUNATELY the Wal-Mart closet to me no longer carries this product so I ended up having to order it online (www.americarx.com) because I NEED it back. I have oily skin and have yet to find anything to keep that aspect of it completely under control but this definitely got rid of my acne and almost made my skin look glowly when I got slightly oily. Its definitely my HG for skincare. I completely recommend this for someone with oily/ sensitive skin with mild to moderate acne.
As far as the moisturizer or w/e it is I don’t use that, it dried my skin and didn’t really do anything, but the pill alone worked for me.
I ordered Nature’s Cure 3-part papaya acne system also. I hope this works as well as the 2-part system.
Hope this was helpful!!!

I think the claim that this product has no side effects should be re-evaluated. The am pill made me feel very tired and loopy, almost like a little tipsy. The pm pill made me sweat and feel restless. Not my imagination. Don't have the time or patience to figure out what it is in those pills that does this, but I'm not interested. If you are sensitive to anything you put in your body, I would try this because of all the good reviews and you may not be effected. But if the am pill makes you feel odd, I would stop right there and don't try the pm pill and just stick to topical treatments.

This did wonders for my skin. I got it on a whim when I was trying just about anything to clear up my skin. I have no idea whether it is the pills or the cream (which btw is more of a gel which I LOVE) but my skin has never been better. I use the BP the way you are supposed to use the acne.org regiment and my skin looks and feels great. I rarely breakout and when I do it's just one or two small ones which is a HUGE improvement. I can't say enough good things about this.

This is just OK for me. A little too gimmicky with the pills. My skin naturally cleared up on its own anyways, so this did nothing for me. I used it to try to prevent my hormonal cystic breakouts but they still came and went in the same amount of time as usual. The pills are nothing special for me, but I do use the cream as my only spot treatment. The cream is awesome. Powerful, but not too harsh on my skin. I will continue to buy this for the cream only, not the pills.

This is not a bad product, it just didn't work for me. I will be honest, I didn't use the cream that came with it but then again benzoyl peroxide over 2.5% is too harsh for my skin and makes my acne worse. But the pills didn't provide any noticeable effects for me. I bought two boxes of the kit and used it faithfully for two months. As of date there is no noticeable improvement nor did my skin turn for the worse. I am not mad since I am just out 10 bucks. I guess it is not effective on cystic acne. BTW I stopped consuming dairy for about 3 years and I was drinking plenty of water.

This actually works really well for me. Who knows if it was the pills or just the BP... The BP isn't too drying compared to others, but I still can only apply it 1x a day as a spot treatment.

I wanted this to work so badly, but unfortunately it didn't do anything. I had a breakout of terrible hormonal acne a couple of months ago and bought this. I didn't mind taking the pills, they were chalky tasting with a hint of sweetness. Everyone's right when they say it has almost no taste. The BP lotion it came with was terrible. It was too harsh and drying for my skin. I took all of the pills and used another brand of BP lotion with it and it didn't do anything for my skin. It also has yeast in it which made me nervous.

This stuff is amazinggg. It not only cleared up my skin, but it has kept it clear. I've got so many compliments on how good my skin was looking, and people asking me what I've started using. This stuff really worked for me, and the price is great too.

I struggled with severe acne in junior college. I'm not sure if it was the stress, but there were days when I did not want to leave my house. It was that bad. After being on birth control for almost a year and a half and finding a consistent skincare routine that worked for me, my skin has cleared up completely, with the exception of a few red marks that are easy to conceal. I recently broke out on my chin though (two zits) that are the underground kind that take a while to heal. I bought Nature's Cure yesterday and already see my acne healing. This is the second time I am using NC and I highly recommend it. As for the Benzoyl Peroxide cream, I just use the tiniest amount only on the problem areas. I don't want to dry out the rest of my skin, if it's not necessary. I love NC and know that it will help me feel much better about myself after my skin clears. In conjunction with NC, I use Clearasil Daily Face Wash, Dickinson's Pore Perfecting Toner, and 40 Carrots Vitamin Serum. I then use a small amount of NC bp cream on the problem areas only. This system seems to be working so far and I am confident that with a lot of water and a healthy diet, my skin will clear. Try Nature's Cure.

I only use the benzoyl peroxide cream (I'm allergic to an ingredient in the pills) and it works phenomenally well. Apart from the NC benzoyl cream, I use any old drugstore facewash and a small face brush with it and occasional facemasks- this keeps my skin pretty darn clear. Now I just have to find something to fade these old blemish scars.
I have tons of unused, untouched pills- pm me if you'd like any! As below, nothing is expected in return, I just hate to be wasteful :)

I suffered (and am suffering, still) from a fairly sudden, horrendous acne outbreak in the aftermath of an accident I had been in. Not knowing that the acne and the accident were related, I scoured MUA for something that would help, and stumbled upon the reviews for Nature's Cure. It seemed to help so many people, and considering that my acne was mostly, at that time, localized on my jaw, chin, and lower cheeks, it seemed a pretty good candidate to he helped by supplements (acne outbreaks there tend to be due to hormonal reasons, and I learned in time that this was the case - that the stress hormones, which are androgens [a form of testosterone] released by my body at the time of the accident were the culprit). I used the benzoyl peroxide part sparingly and occasionally, but I took the doses every day for a few days shy of the entire package - chewing both at night and letting them dissolve under my tongue. And the fact is that absolutely nothing happened; the roots of my acne ran and continue to run too deeply to have been helped by Nature's Cure. So, I leave this product with a neutral review. No harm, no foul, and I was only out $7 for one month's dose, because it was on sale at my local Rite-Aid. The benzoyl peroxide, if I could review it separately, would get a slightly more negative review; it was too harsh for me, and any unblemished skin that came into contact with it was irritated.

well, I WOULD buy this product again IF I still had acne!
Here's my story. I first got acne in 4th grade. Sigh. It eventually got so SO SO terrible by high school that I went on Accutane. I was desperate. I was on birth control and Accutane and it was freaking depressing. I wish I could go back to that teen me and give her a huge hug! Anyway, everything drastically improved when I changed my mindset about approaching a solution....
Instead of being in a perpetual acne battle, I decided to try to have HEALTHY SKIN. I stopped the barrage of harsh treatments and began to start from the inside out. I cut down on sugar, began taking Nature's Cure, high quality multi-vitamin, NKO (Neptune Krill Oil) or Primrose Oil and plain gentle cleanser (Paula's Choice Skin Balancing) along with Clarisonic brush (but I think any cheap facial brush will do as long as you regularly clean it with soap and water and hydrogen peroxide to kill germs sometimes). I also worked a gentle BHA or AHA into my routine at night, occasionally substituted with Tazorac (or Retin-A)... and I wear sunscreen. My skin looks amazing. Try to think skin health instead of skin war!
Best of Luck! Message me any time for more tips!

OMG I am in complete awe of this product! I NEVER EVER thought a drugstore product would eliminate my adult cystic acne. After one round of accutane few years back my acne seemed to subside. However, after starting grad/professional school--the stress returned and so did the acne (with a vengeance)! I went back to the derma. who put me on oral minocycline & topical Retin-A. The meds worked like a charm while i was taking them, but BAM as soon as my skin cleared & I was done with the meds--my acne would come back a week later worse then before. Frustrated I ran to the derma. again who advised that I should go on a 2nd round of Accutane. I refused bc of its severity & he put me on the same oral minocycine since it had worked before but this time with Differin gel. The vicious cycle repeated itself, I became clear once again while taking the meds & as soon as I was done with the course, BAM all the disgusting bumps & cysts reappeared within a WEEK this time angrier than before--i kid you not...
I didn't want to keep taking antibiotics forever intermittently so I figured Accutane would be the only thing that would save my skin. However, as a last minute attempt out of desperation--I decided to try this since its natural so the side-effects would be minimal. I was very doubtful bc I was under the impression that nothing "natural" seems to work on stubborn acne, but let me tell you, it started working within 2 weeks exactly like the box says!
Im not going to lie and say it has completely cured me of all acne but I have a week left of the pack--and I went from having about 20 red inflamed bumps/pimples/cysts all over my cheecks & chin to having about 3 pimples. I can finally put my hair up in a pony without having to hide my face! I do believe you have to take the pills AND use the bp cream together though in order to achieve the maximum effect. The cream is awesome for someone with super-oily skin like mine bc it works as a mattifier & reduces the oilies for at least 2 hours. I also checked the ingredients & it has none of that artificial paraben crap in it. In an effort to go organic & au-naturel I am also washing with Burt Bees Tomato Soap (which is free of chemicals as well) prior to using the bp cream. And as a scrub I occasionally use plain ole sugar. I still have marks from old acne--so I am using a chemical-free mineral powder to hide the scars. Oh & lastly I am also taking evening primrose oil supplements & fish oil supplements. I truly believe the combo of all of the above (but mainly Nature's Cure) has made a tremendous difference in the state of my face. I am recommending this to all my friends/family it is like buying GOLD for 10 bucks if you are suffering from problem skin. I am still keeping my fingers crossed & hope that my body doesnt build up a resistance to this product like some reviewers have noted. Although, I dont care if I have to continue taking this for as long as I need (its a helluva lot better than taking antibiotics long-term & works just as good as if not better than antibiotics) Good luck everyone, on your mission to clear skin!

The benzoyl peroxide cream is fantastic. It doesn't dry out my skin or stain my clothes and sheets and it WORKS. Using the cream nightly coupled with aspirin masks two or three times a week keeps my skin wonderfully clear (apart from the occasional hormonal zit- gotta love those).
I'm allergic to the pills, so I can't can't use them, unfortunately. I have a ton of unopened, perfectly good pills- pm me if you'd be interested. ;)
(Nothing is expected in return, I just don't want them to go to waste!)

so far so good! ive read that a lot of people do not like the cream, but i actually love it!! i think the cream has helped my skin more than the pills. it is a little drying and sometimes stings my eyes for a few minutes(because it has aloe and aloe has the same effect as onions) but the results are well worth it.i had a horrible experience with neutrogena ots bp cream and had sworn off of over the counter bp creams. however in the past ive had pretty good results with aloe fading my dark spots and making my skin tone more even. so since this cream contains both i thought what the heck. im thrilled with the results. my skin is so smooth and my spots are fading. at nite after washing with joesoef sulfur soap, while my face is still wet i spread a thin layer of the cream all over my face. when i wake up my skin looks so pretty and if i have any zits they are smaller.i have very oily skin and this cream has helped a lot with making my skin more matte. i dont have to blot at all anymore. i use cerave moisturizing lotion every morning prior to makeup and my makeup just glides on smoothly and looks flawless. i use the pills daily also as i have horomonal acne. i highly recommend both the bp/pills. will update again in a few weeks.
UPDATE-5/2/09
sadly i had to stop using the cream. my skin reacted to it and i got a huge 3 headed cyst on my r cheek. usually that happens when something in a new product is irritating my skin. however i will continue using the pills as they do seem to be helping with my horomonal jaw line acne. usually any time i eat dairy i end up with several bumps on my jaw line. lately i have had pizza and lasagna and no bumps on my jaw line! so i will definitely continue taking the pills and will leave the five lippies for those.
UPDATE-10/08/09
still taking the pills daily/religiously. have never missed a day in 6 months. they work to some extent but im still getting horomonal breakouts around my jaw line. im on the fence about continuing to take them.thinking i may move on to vitex and see if that works better for me.
UPDATE- 4/17/11
i have discontinued the pills. they didnt do anything to stop the large horomonal breakouts i get. plus i ran out of them and realized how much better i felt when i wasnt taking them.

This stuff has saved my skin. I've had moderate, persistent, (and sometimes cystic) acne for the past year and this is the only product that has improved my skin significantly. I first tried Neutrogena On the Spot 2.5% BP, and saw a little improvement but encountered clogs which I believe were caused by the base. I then tried Differin for several months followed by Finacea for a few months. I saw initial improvement but then increased breakouts with both products. I was so fed up.
I finally picked up a box of Nature's Cure about 2 months ago as a last resort. The online reviews were good and the simple ingredient list was impressive, so I figured for $10 I didn't have much to lose. After a couple weeks my skin began to improve and after a month my skin was the clearest it had been in over a year. Since that point my skin has remained at a level of about 90% clarity and continues to improve. Clogs have disappeared and I've only had one hormonal chin cyst in the entire two months. This is huge for me! To be able to consider my acne mild and my skin somewhat normal is a great feeling.
I don't take the pills. I just apply a generous layer (Acne.org style) over my face every night before bed, after cleansing with Earth Science A-D-E creamy cleanser, toning with Earth Science Clarifying Herbal Astringent, and moisturizing with a safflower oil/aloe vera gel combo. This particular product regimen works for me, but the main idea is to cleanse gently & moisturize.
The only negative is that my eyes water/sting for about a minute or two after I apply the cream (similar to cutting onions). I just close my eyes & wait it out. It's well worth it.
