This doesn't last all day like it claims. It dries my lips out and flakes off. It lasts a little longer than regular lipstick, but it's not worth the money to me

I love this color! I actually got this product for my mother, but she said she is too used to using regular lipstick because she is always on the go. It was already past the 30 day exchange rule so I had no choice but to start using it. I'm so glad I did because I fell in love!! The formula DOES last a long time. THe color is a pure rosey pink. Sooo pretty. I love it. After color application, your lips get a little dry, but I put a little bit of lip balm after the color dries even though you arn't supposed to. I also used the gloss they supplied around once every hour or so. My lips were fine and the color lasted at least 6 hours (which I consider pretty good!!). I did not experience any color loss, balling up or flaking lips so I am quite happy with this product! I think I'm going to go try some other colors now too!

As most of us know, the pro longwear formula sucks..it flakes, it dries out your lips, and so on BUT despite the bad stuff, I loove the color of this one. It's a lovely rosey pink color that can be built up to be what I call a "playboy" pink. It also looks gorgeous with the mirror top coat or with the pink irridescense top coat for an even more pink color. I haven't found any other lip product from mac with a color like this so that's why I deal with the terrible pro longwear formula.

I really love the idea of a lipstick that lasts all day and does not come off on everything my lips touch. I also love a lipstick that feels light and airy on the lips. My hopes were very high but this was a bit of a disappointment. The lipstick requires a light touch, which leads to it being virtually invisible. It is also so dry that my lips stick together when I am not wearing the gloss, and the gloss neither lasts as long nor feels as light. A further downside is that you cannot reapply the lipstick during the day. I have found that the lipstick usually lasts around 6 hours. However, by that time the lipstick still looks good from a distance but up close it makes my lips look cracked and dry. I also do not like this colour. In the tube and on the wand it looks like a natural, warm, rose pink. However, on the lips it is a very frosty, pale but garish 1960s pink. I can imagine Dusty Springfield wearing this. My lips are small enough. This colour makes them disappear. UPDATE: I have had this now for more than 6 months and I loathe it. It fades in patches but it is impossible to reapply; and it has caused my lips to shrivel to crusty slits.

I got this color in Plaything which is a soft pink shade with a subtle shimmer. It is lovely and looks like YLBB with a pinky kick. The lipcolor must go on evenly and with no heavy-handiness. Let it dry for a moment and apply the clear topcoat gloss. The topcoat is nice and moisturizes well. As the day goes on, the topcoat is a must because lips can get really dry feeling. I was pleased with the results and it really lasted, even after eating movie popcorn. This is a good, "safe" shade because the color is forgiving and as it wears off, it still looks nice and natural, i.e. no obvious inner lip wear-off, no balling of product. This is a good product! Way better than Revlon Overtime. That was bad.
