I bought this just for fun so my daughters could play with it. The colors seemed a little too crazy for me to wear out. But have tried to stop buying makeup and use what I have. Used this with a primer and it looked great. Didn't use the brow color, and used the outer corner color for under eye. It looked great, especially on brown eyes. Will be using this alot this summer.

I like the colors, I do prefer to use them individually instead of together. The packaging seems not hold up as well as others.

The colors looked pretty in the pack, and this was one of the first eyeshadows I bought, so I was a newbie and didn't even consider whether the colors would match my hazel eyes. But that's besides the point... I don't think the colors are really pigmented enough.... I had to put on several layers for them to show up. I guess if you want a subtle hint of color this is ok.

I had high hopes for this. The colors are very pretty but when blended together on my eyelids, it just looked wrong. It looked like I was puked on by a set of water color paints. :/
I like each color individually. Hopefully I can put this to use some other way. But the colors didn't last long and they look kind of greasy.

As someone said before, I love all the colours individually but they don't seem to fit together on me when altogether. This quad has some of the better Maybelline shadow pigmentation compared to some other's that i've had but some fo the colors dont show up that wel on my pale lids :S. All the colors are very shimmery except for the 'browbone' which doesn't have as much. I wouldn't repurchase again but i'm glad i did get it.
This isnt a quad i would regularly pick up. There are just other combinations i like more

These quads are great and I loved this combination of colours! I don't combine them, but wear them individually and they apply well and last for ages when worn! The blue is just gorgeous worn by itself and really makes a statement - very striking & exotic (but not in the typical glitter tranny look - which don't get me wrong I really luv that look but every now and again you like to take a break)! The lilac has bee used all up because it is so lovely and soft and great for an everyday eye opener. Fantastic value for a palet of 4 shadows!

Color: a medium blue, plum, emerald/sea green, and light pink
Texture: Everyone of the shadows except the pink are shimmery, and they're not that easy to blend, but they're not chalky - the plum is my favorite b/c it's very smooth
Pigment: None of these are super pigmented, but I didn't have to pack on the color like I did for the duo eyeshadows (which doesn't show up unless you count the shimmer); the pink does not show up at all, it's kind of like a colorless powder, doesn't really highlight unless your skintone is dark
Lasting power: If you don't use a base these will crease, especially if you have a monolid/oily lid; I don't find it especially long lasting in any way; but it doesn't claim to be one :)
Verdict: I probably wouldn't buy this quad again just b/c I don't use it that often, but I would buy other quads of this line; they're decently pigmented & has a good texture - it's just inconsistent between the shades you choose from

I love this quad!
I bought it for the two lighter, purple colors for a tutorial on youtube, and fell in love with it! However, i do not use all four colors how the quad recomends, and I don't reccomend using the highlight color for a highlight because in my opinion it is too purple and not light enough. I can create lots of different looks with this quad using just one or two of the shadows and pairing them together or with some of my other eyeshadows.

i lovee thesee colors ! some people have saidd "itss not pigmented", but that's if you use the applicator that comes with it. I have a very nice eyeshadow brush that i use, and the colors go on very nicely. The green color is so pretty ! I use it as a liner on my top or bottom lashlines (sometimes both for parties) , with mascara and nude lip gloss. It's such an earthy look it's gorgeous. The blue also works great for a liner :] The dark purple looks great too! All the colorss do ! I don't use highlight or anythig on my browbone, so I can't critique the light brow bone color, but I can tell you, this quad is amazing ;]

i was really pleasantly surprised at how much i liked this quad. I've been wanting to try them for sometime now b/c xteeener really liked her quad. But they all look so dual in real life but i still wanted to try them so i got this one and the green one. LOve this one. I don't know why everyone keep saying they are not pigmented b/c they are. they really are not super bright colors but that's what make them wearable, for everyday life. And You still get a little kick out of waring something like the green with out being over the top. I like all the colors, but the blue can be a little hard to work with. And The green IS to DIE FOR! Lovely color! I didn't think it was all that great but then i started using it- and it had little gold shimmer in it that is hard to see without taking the plastic off. Such a Nice color! And the pick and purple are every lovely colors.
My only complaint is that They do tend to show up a little gray... But still not bad.
Buy the way this quad is not like the other ones where you put colors in the places they tell you- you can put anything anywhere.
Oh, and a REALLY cool thing.... THEY REALLY ARE some what more ceaseless! EVEN with out a eye shadow base!
Also it really is true to the Name; it does remind me of "seashores"

this was one of the first makeup quads i ever purchased. and truly it sucks. the only color i really like is the deep purple one. you have to really layer the other colors so they can actually show up. hard to blend, not long lasting, and not very pigmented. i will buy other maybelline quads, but not in this color again.

I liked the idea of this, with the location to place each colour embossed in the shade. However the blue is a gross blue and doesn't seem to match the other shades. You need to apply a TON of it, it is not very pigmented. When it does show up it is a horrible royal blue..When I applied the other colours it seriously looked like I had a black eye as a result of being beaten up, because of the blue, purple and green.
The highlight brow bone colour was matte so it looked strange, a sheer shimmer would have been better. I didn't bother applying these colours with the spongey applicators, I used my brushes instead.
The colours didn't blend very well at all. I would buy this again but in a different colour, maybe a smokey eye colour to try it out as it is rare that I can't use ANY colour from a palette for any look, but such is the case for this quad. I am disappointed as maybelline is usually a good cheap brand.

this seems to have been remade, but the one I have comes with a pink, purple, blue, and blue-green shade. the pink and purple look fine on my fair skin as is. the blue is ok. the blue-green, however, looks weird with my brown eyes. I think all of these colors would look better if they were more pigmented, but I guess applying them wet would take care of that.

This quad was just okay. I don't really care for the main lid color. I find it a little hard to believe that anyone would use just that blue for the subtle look since the shade is not that flattering, especially on a tan or darker skin tone. I do really like the crease and outer corner colors. You can create an okay soft look with this but I think I'll try a different palette next time.

They're not my favorite eyeshadows ; but I love the colors.Beautiful colors but they are not very pigmented, you have to reapply a few times for the color to show up, also they are not silky, they feel a little chalky. But for the price I can't complain much ( I got this on BOGO) . Staying power is good

I love this for summertime at the beach at night going to bars or something. Something about the colors just say "ocean" (probably why it's in the name) They blend well, but use a primer for optimal pigmentation. I love the blue, it works wonderfully with my chocolate brown eyes.
Like six dollars, so not bad price-wise. Though, its not the best pigment wise, so you get what you purchase here.
The packaging sucks. Drop it once, chances are it is gone. The lid easily pops off, exposing the colors to your purse or make-up bag, which sucks. But, I would buy it again (if I ever use it enough to run out of it, it's not an every day look for me)

Not the most pigmented eyeshadow for me. I found that I had to use quite a few layers before the color pops out. The texture is a bit gritty and staying power is average. But I'm most impressed with the purple color, it's very complementary for my brown eyes.

the colors are really pigmented, especially the plumish brown color, and the green. but i dropped it once, and the lid broke, and the blue cracked (oh well, blue's not my color. and i don't even know how to wear it.). and applicators that came with it are all right, but NOTHING compared to an eyeshadow brush. the plastic packaging is not very attractive, like urban decay's eyeshadow singles, or even wet n' wild's shadow pots. i guess that's where they cheaped out. i would buy this again, but in another color. maybe the white / gray / black one.
