This isn't a bad blush at all. It unfortunately did not work for my skintone, so I returned it. That isn't to say that the color itself isn't nice though. Dapple Apple is a reddish pink (specifically, it's what Wikipedia calls "electric crimson") with gold shimmer. I guess that's where they get the name. It reminds me of a pink lady apple. Sadly, I felt that the redness clashed with my golden skin. I already have surface redness without foundation as it is, and this blush kinda reminded me of it. Otherwise, the pigmentation is definitely there & the texture is quite nice. The price is quite reasonable, especially if you have a $10 off coupon for Kohl's.
EDIT: I take it back, this actually does look pretty on me but with a VERY light hand. It's not one of those I-just-came-in-from-the-cold shades, it reminds me of those "ooh-that-was-amazing!!" kinda situations ;)

Nice blush- you can see the color while definitely on the sheer side. I agree with someone else- definitely apply with a light hand to prevent looking clownish. The color is bright shade of medium pink with some fine glitter that I can barely notice when on. I love the color pay off! I feel like with a lot of blushes I own, it's a struggle to notice it which gets frustrating. Not that I want to look fake but I want something that you don't need as much effort for to see a difference. So in that case, this stuff is nice.

I've been loving brighter blush shades for the spring and I couldn't pass this one up! I've been loving the look of reddish pinks lately for the cheeks and this was on sale! I have a million blush shades already-but none look like this! This is absolutely gorgeous! I apply this with the flirt skunk brush as I think it applies the right amount and blends fantastic! Highly recommend!

i love products that are good and cheap!! stays on all day, and it's a great color, too. i totally forgot i even had this. then when i bought nars blush in orgasm, and put it side by side with this color, the match is almost exact (this is a little more saturated)! i must admit i fell into the nars orgasm bandwagon, but for those of you who are considering buying nars, check this shade out first! the packaging is really inventive because it makes it more portable for those mid-day touch-ups. also comes with a handy little blush. doesn't sound like such a big deal, like "ooh, there's a brush", but remember that nars and most of the other high end brands don't come with one, so that's a plus (especially at less than half the price).

Really love this color. I have light skin with dark brown hair, and it makes me look like I'm blushing. I will advise EVERYONE, please apply this with a light hand or else you will look like you have a nasty sunburn. I like the slight shimmer, it adds dimension and keeps this from looking too "granny". Plus, the name is adorable (Dapple Apple). The packaging is kinda crap, I'd prefer something round. To each their own. I highly reccommend this color to fair girls who are tired of looking too pale or washed out.
EDIT: Oxidized on me and turned orange, won't be going back!

LOVE this blush! the reddish tone that people are describing really warms my face up for a great summer flush. I like to pair my dapple apple cheeks with a sheer pink lip. This blush would look great on tanned skin but also lovely if applied sheer to lighter skinned gals.

Like another reviewer said, these blushes are comparable to NARS! They have almost have the identical colors. This color in particular was not much for me, (medium olive skin,) it was too red. (Only reason I won't be buying this color again) But the blush is smooth and fine-milled. The packaging on the blushes (compared to Flirt eyeshadows I guess) IS bulky, it's hard to tot around in your purse.

Beautiful color, lots of pigment, tons of product for the price. Its just not my color-too reddish for my dark skin. will not be repurchasing.

A gorgeous blush. It reminds me somewhat of MAC's Breezy. As with my other Flirt Blushers, this is a winner. They have yet to dissapoint me!

This is great shade for my fair skin. I have dark brown hair and eyes and this makes me come alive!! Flirt blushes are great -- also picked up Pink Tutu at 1/2 price ($6.00) at Kohl's. Would repurchase this great shade!

I really like the texture of this blush... lots of pigment, just a touch of shimmer... but I think the pink is too much for my fair skin... I just look sunburned or like I just worked out - and that isn't a good thing!
The packaging is a bit awkward... you pull out the side of the compact then it flips up to uncover the blush. There is a mirror and it comes with a little blush brush that I havenot even bothered to unwrap. I use another blush brush that's a bit bigger! I think it was $12, so that is great!
I think overall this is a good product, this color's not for me though!

Comparable to NARS! The cost about $11-12, which is only a dollar or two mor than L'oreal and Revlon, but the colors are way better. Blends beautifully, stays on all day.

The quality of this blush is very nice - it's very finely milled and pigmented. Dapple apple is a rosy pink with some nude tones in it that keep it from looking too bright or fake. It has gorgeous shimmer that adds glow to the cheeks. The packaging is quite strange. Normall, I prefer a sleek package without a brush, and this is no exception. The one good thing about this is that the brush isn't so bad that it is totally unusable. Therefore, this might make a nice complete package to touch up with at work.

I'm liking this so far--a medium reddish rose color. There's just a little bit of shimmer to it, which is good b/c I can wear it to work without looking like I belong at a disco.
It seemed to wear well through the day; I'll have to try this out a few more times to make sure.
It comes in a sliding compact with a mirror and brush. Would have preferred them to package the the product with just a lid, because those little brushes are useless!
