This was one of the first Lush products I ever used when I was really into the brand a few years ago, I haven't bought many products from them for a while, but recently saw this and picked it up for nostalgias sake! However, regular use in the shower has really been helping my keratosis pilaris and as someone who is very lazy about moisturizing after showering, I find that after using this I can actually get away without applying any body lotion. I usually rub the bar between my hands and then smooth them over my legs/arms, as I find the course grains sometimes a little too abrasive though.

bought this out of sheer impulse, so i wasn't sure what to expect at first, but i love this product! i've found it easiest to just cut off very thin slices from the block-- thin enough to crumble, actually-- and then let it soften a little in water right before using it. you only need a very small amount per use, so doing this helps me draw out the shelf life much longer, more than enough to justify the price. smells great, exfoliates well, and leaves my skin super soft from morning 'til night.

I have dry and sensitive skin, and this scrub does the job well without discomfort. My skin is smooth and hydrated after I've used Buffy. It leaves a layer of oils on your skin, but i like that since I can just lightly pat of the excess-moistuire with My towel after taking a shower. After i've used this (during summer/spring) there have been no need to Apply bodylotion for me, which is really Nice. but during the harsh Winter in sweden, i think it might be necessary to hydrate My skin even more than just using Buffy. Yes, i Will buy this again!

love it. it's a fantastic exfoliator, that not only sloughs off dead skin, but provides luxurious moisture in the form of Shea Butter and oils. It's a solid bar with little almond shells that are revealed when you get it wet. it's rough but it feels amazing when you rub it all over and after you rinse it off your skin is soft and not at all greasy. store it properly!

I am new to Lush so I picked this up because it was described as their Holy Grail product. It's really rough and I don't have sensitive skin. Moisturizes well. I put it in a plastic bag (per the salesperson's recommendation) so that it wouldn't complete melt while not in use. I don't like having to be so careful with a bar of soap. You can definitely see it shrink every time you use it and have to make sure to keep it away from running hot water. Cost/use is ridiculous IMO.

I really enjoyed this in the shower. I plan on trying a few other Lush products before repurchasing. Highly recommend.

Alright, Buffy. I really think I've given you a fair chance, but I gotta tell ya, you and I, we're not gonna be friends. I couldn't go to the store so I while I was making an online order at Lush, I decided to purchase Buffy. I usually use Lush's Ocean Salt as my go-to scrub, but as a skin care junkie I love to try out other (seemingly) amazing things. I was curious to try out other exfoliators, and for a moment, I was undecided whether to purchase this one or the Aqua Mirabilis, but then went with this one based on the positive reviews here and also over at the Lush website.

This doesn't seem to be my thing. The scent is alright, a bit medicinal, with a dash of lavender, but it's alright. In combination with my shower gel though, it turns into quite a weird smell. The main issue I have with it though is that it doesn't do what it claims to do. It doesn't soften my skin, it doesn't do anything for the keratosis pilaris on my arms, and it doesn't make a smooth butt either. I have always been amazed at the fact that oil seems to work as a moisturizer for some people. On me, anything oily just makes my skin oily (apart from Coconut Oil, but let's face it, that's a miracle anyways), and it just never really absorb into my skin. That's my experience with the Buffy -- it doesn't absorb, instead it leaves a nasty greasy film, and underneath it my skin is basically as dry as before. I absolutely hate the way this feels on my skin.

It's no real fun using it, either. Skin care products are the way I treat and reward myself whenever I feel I deserve it, and it's the spa factor that I like, the sensual experience of pampering your body, not just how your body feels afterwards. I kinda expect that when I splurge on pretty pricey products, and Lush is pricey. This is just uncomfortable to use and apply. Really rough, and it just doesn't feel like you're doing your skin much of a favor. In fact, if anything, I feel I'm pissing it off with this. This actually gives me pimples on my legs. Yes, on my legs!

So yeah, I'm glad I only bought the small bar. Glad I checked it out, but will not repurchase, I'll go back to the Ocean Salt. It seems to tackle the Keratosis pilars on my arms better, and it leaves my butt silky smooth. 'cause at the end of the day, isn't that what it's all about? ;)

I'm not trying to be a party pooper, not trying to rain on anyone's Buffy parade. This obviously works well for a lot of people, I'm just not one of them. You never know whether a product works for you unless you try it out. So now I know.

Absolutely love this, for people that suffer with those red little lumps on the back of their arms, legs, butts and cheeks known as (keratosis pliasis) this makes them go ... Skin feels so silky!!! And is so nice, has a confusingly unexplainable nice smell. Love love love it!!!!! Try it guys

This is the first LUSH product I've purchased and I put myself in the hands of the salesgirl who said that this was a great introduction to the line. It cost $22, which was quite a bit of sticker shock, but she said it would last a month. I still think that's outrageous, but I was anxious to try the line. (I make my own soap, so I know how much it really costs to make something like Buffy.) It's very abrasive and instead of leaving my skin moisturized, it felt greasy. You can see the bar just melt away in your hands as soon as it gets wet. I stored it out of the shower and was very careful not to get it too wet, but I got maybe 4-5 uses out of it. Also, it turns the floor of your shower into a greasy, dangerous mess. I'm giving it two lippies because it does exfoliate, but overall, it's ridiculously overpriced for the amount of use you get. This shouldn't cost more than $10.
