Am I the only one here who really hated this scent??? There was nothing fresh about it to me. It reminded me of public restroom - like lemon and sage-scented surface cleaner desperately trying to cover up... something unpleasant. Thankfully, the smell goes away once the hair is rinsed and dried.
Like many here, I tested this product from a W Hotel sample. Nothing exciting about its conditioning power - it spreads nicely and moisturises satisfactorily. Hair is soft and shiny but a touch greasier than I'd like at the end of the day.
Of course the smell is a deal-breaker for me. I have purchased conditioners that work better for me at the drugstore, and therefore would not consider this at any price.

I had this from a W Hotel stay and decided to take it with me on a week long trip. This made my very-easy-to-manage, straight hair feel tangled, greasy, and heavy. I used it for half the week before realizing it wasn't the awful heat making my hair feel gross, it was this conditioner and its partner shampoo. I threw them away and used the Bath and Body Works set provided by the hotel, my hair instantly improved.

I received the shampoo and conditioner as an extra from a generous swapper. I have very fine and thin hair that's super straight, light blonde, and super long so I always reach for shampoo and conditioner that creates volume, although that for me is really just a pipe dream. I started to put this in my "bin" to give to someone else for a swap extra until I took a second to read the details on the packaging. I noted that it states it helps prevent static and my hair has had a ton of static this year for some reason (winter months) that has caused me some embarrassment particularly when taking off and putting on my coat. Anyway, I took a shower this morning and thought I'd try it for the static just to see if it made a difference. I didn't really notice anything when using both products. I enjoyed the fresh lemon scent as well as how much the shampoo lathered up. My hair was just as tangly afterwards as it is with any typical shampoo and conditioner so I didn't notice a difference there. I just combed my hair with a comb and let it air dry like I always do. Hours later after forgetting about my new shampoo/conditioner combo I started to take the mail out to the mailbox when I passed the wall mirror I pass every day and instantly noticed something was different about my hair. Is that shine? Like super glossy magazine and television ad shine? Seriously, it looked like Barbie doll hair. I've never had shine like that even though my hair is straight as a stick and literally my hair now looks like spun gold. I was not expecting shine as a result of using this nor did I read any reviews prior to using it. I will definitely be repurchasing if at the very least to use it prior to going out just so I can have this gorgeous shine! I'm very impressed especially since my results were completely unexpected. I cannot comment on static yet because I haven't gotten any. Maybe that means it works for that too!

i have overproecessed, bleached blond platinum hair with below the boobs human hair extensions.
the scent of this is typical bliss smell of lemon and sage- personally i am not a big fan, but once this conditioner is rinsed, the smell is barely there, or not there at all which works for me.
initially i applied it all over my hair and left it on for about 20 min (i always leave conditioners on for a long time- my hair is very damaged). when i rinsed it out the extensions didn't tangle (miracle) and my hair actually LOOKED SHINY (hard to achieve with platinum blonds). after drying and flat ironing my hair didn't tangle no matter how many times i flipped it, put scarves around it etc.
the only downfall was that i had no volume to my hair, since than i never apply the conditioner to the scalp, but only 4 inches away from the scalp, saturating the rest.
i really like this stuff, it seems very hydrating and definately de-tangles.
in previous reviews someone said it makes their hair dry- usually silicone build up does that. i personally wash my hair with a clarifying shampoo (vo5, kiwi-lime, great price, great results) once a week no matter what other products i use so that i never have the problem of straw hair.
the conditioner is thick, and the bottle is hard plastic- they should of packed this in either a jar or a tube, so remember to keep it upside down because otherwise it will be hard to squeeze out.

I love the smell of all the lemon + sage products (wish they made a perfume)! I found this conditionner very moisturizing and detangling for my long, fine, unprocessed, dry hair. The only thing I would complain about is the bottle. The conditionner is a little too thick for the bottle and really should be packaged in a tube, instead. I also love the shampoo - they make a great combo (I always like to use matching shampoo & conditionner).

The thing with Bliss products to me is that it's either hit or miss!!
I love some and some are a waste of money...I hate to judge things like this b/c everyone is different and I hate to discourage anyone...I have to say though this conditioner is a waste of money...I have hair that's in great shape, not to thick or thin, and usually esy to comb out!
this product made it a terrible mess!!!!! Not enough conditioning for my hair..The only great thing was the scent! That was fabulous... but not worth ripping my hair out..

okay so smells good and when rinsing it out my hair seemed detangled and soft then when I got around to combing and styling it - my hair was really bad, a big tangle occured and when I was blow drying my hands wouldn't run through my hair - don't bother

I'm writing this review for the Lemon Sage Supersine Shampoo and Conditioner and will post this under both listings. I received the set for free with a code from Bliss (super groovy as the code had a glitch and I got a ton of them (thanks Bliss for honoring the error!)). My hair is a tricky thing. It's very big. I have enough hair on my head for about 3 heads of hair (genetics) and it's wavy with some curl. I have a strip underneath I dye dragonfly blue and I recently did some natural looking highlights and low lights. My routine is wash every other day unless needed and I brush through when wet and air dry (sometimes I use Fresh Sake hair creme or and other simular product). I am never a one size fits all in the shampoo and conditioner catagory and Bliss being a spa line that's more know for bath and body I thought hey nice freebie maybe the b/f will use it. Little did I know how rocking this stuff is.
The shampoo foams up to a rich lather, the kind you always wanted as a kid. My hair did not feel stripped but instead was very smooth after I rinsed it out. The conditioner rinse I thought would not be conditioning enough since the word rinse was involved but I applied, waited and rinsed it out to very smooth, soft hair. The smell in nice and soft, not over powering or too lemony, and I rather enjoyed it. Blah, blah, blah this is where I was shocked. I towel dried my hair and went to brush it out. Usually use a a spray in conditioner after I get out of the shower so I can get the brush though the beast but to my shock the brush passed easily through my hair without it! Honestly I couldn't believe it. My hair was long overdue for a cut and had been rather dry so I was floored. I passed on a styling product and let it dry. Second shocker was the shine. I thought it would be total BS but my hair was so glossy, like hair ad glossy and it still had volume even though it was past my bra strap in length. I swear my hair has never looked so good! It has bounce, shiney and instant style. What more could a lazy girl like me want? And it was free lol! I've since had my hair cut and still love it. Only thing I've noticed is my hair gets greasier a bit faster so sometimes I was everyday and I will use something else every now and then to prevent buildup and for better performance (I like to switch a lot but this I'll stay steady with for quite some time). One thing you can do to beat the oil is leave the shampoo on 3 minutes and the condtioner for one or focus the condtioner on the ends and run it through right before you rinse. I'm so excited to finally have a product that makes wavy, air dried hair shine like crazy and style like a dream. I would repurchase but thanks to Blissworld's code and ordering 2x I am sitting on 8 free bottles of each (weird part is they know the code is messed up and they don't fix it, no clue why but my gain!) and will not need to buy for a very, very long time!

This conditioner was fine, but did not stand out in any way. Not worth the price.

I LOVE this conditioner. I said I would purchase again, but actually the price is a huge factor. All in all, this is a very very good conditioner. I have thick hair, but not that much of it. The ends are really dry. This conditioner is really thick (to the point where I have trouble squeezing it out), but doesn't weigh my hair down at all. Instead, what it has done is make my hair look fluffier, cured all my dry ends. I have stopped using it for a few weeks but I think I might have to go back to it, because my ends were feeling very nourished even though I stopped using it, but they are starting to feel dry again. Great smell but it doesn't linger in your hair.

I first tried the Bliss Shampoo and Conditoner at a stay at the W Lakeshore in Chicago. I was instantly hooked. Although I had been using Alterna's Hemp Seed Shine Shampoo and Conditioner religiously for the past 3 years, this shampoo and conditoner combo made my hair shinier than I had ever seen it (w/the Alterna products I thought it came out pretty shiny, but this was above and beyond that). I literally started receiving compliments from co-workers and strangers. Thinking that I had found the most amazing shampoo, I went and purchased the tiny 8oz bottles for $16 each (pricey and the hard plastic is awful to squeeze). When I got home though(Boston area), this product did not have the same effect, but rather left my hair feeling greasy. The only remedy was to wash my hair in really hot water for a really long time (yet still without the shine in Chicago). I also tried the shampoo and conditioner again at a recent stay at the W in San Francisco with similar results as home. My conclusion is that this shampoo is really affected by either water type (the water in Chicaco seemed softer) or water pressure(the shower in Chicago had a lot of water pressure). So ultimately, unless I live somewhere with water that works well with this product, i.e. Chicago...I will not purchase it again. It's really sad though, because with the proper conditions, this line of products leaves my hair looking absolutely amazing.

Not very impressed. I really wanted to like this but it did not give me "super shine" in the least. It's a nice, lightweight, good smelling conditioner, but that's about all. Not worth the price, I didn't think it was much better than a decent drugstore conditioner.

This conditioner smells good, the fragrance is very light, but nice. That's the only good thing I can say about this product. It is worthless, does not condition, or detangle my hair. It's also expensive. Thumbs down for me. Love the scent, though!

I'm always on the hunt for a good conditioner. Since I love anything lemon scented, I decided to try Bliss Labs Conditioning Rinse and I was glad I did! The conditioner has a nice, lemony/grassy scent. I was surprised at how thick the conditioner was- I was worried because my hair is so easily weighed down. However, this conditioner is very light weight. So, if you need major conditioning, this probably isn't for you, but it works great for my hair. The only problem I have with the product is with the bottle- it is made of very hard plastic and can be difficult to squeeze!

I LOVE this conditioner! Unlike other 'everyday' conditioners, this one is thick and substantial and actually does a decent job of conditioning my dry/color-treated hair. And the scent is wonderful! I gave it four lippies due to the price, but I consider the quality worth it.

I got this in my $6 BLISS Gift Pak along with some other great deluxe size samples (Please see my Supershine Review). This was sooo nice on my hair!!!I have very fine hair that weighs down easily but its also very tangley and dry too. Im always afraid of "rinses" or "detanglers" as they are nice and lightweight to use, they never provide enough moisture. Well this DID!!! I was amazed! My hair is very fluffy bouncy, but yet moisturized and soft!! Ill be repurchasing this in its full size along with the amazing Supershine shampoo!!! Wonderful finds in my book!!
