Where do I start. Best eyeliner you can buy. Is pricey when you buy the liner and the brush, but so worth it - it lasts for months and months. Stays on all day where it is supposed to, goes on easily, very easy to apply. Love this stuff!

I have Fluidline in Dipdown and Macroviolet and love them both. The colors are very good and this product stays creamy until the last speck in the pot, which was not my experience with either Stila or Bobbi Brown gel eyeliners.
I find gel eyeliners have a less harsh look than liquid, and are easier to apply. I use an angle brush.
The big advantage for me for gel over pencil is that it lasts all day on my eyelids, while pencil disappears in a couple of hours (I don’t know where it goes!).

I love this stuff! It is water resistant but easy to wash off at the end of the day and you don't have those little chunks all over. It's soft and easy to work with and while the regular range is limited, the colors are good. Limited edition colors are often great, but once in a while the pigmentation can be below par but I'm not taking off for that. It is good for precise lines and winged/cat eyes and even as a base. Sometimes I hate having to use a separate brush but that's the nature of the product (in comparison to other types of eyeliner). I always keep coming back to this stuff! I feel like it doesn't dry out and maintains that gel consistency that is nice and soft. I do keep it stored upside down so I can see the color; I don't know if that matters. I think it's at a good price point b/c it is cheaper than a lot of dept. store liners and not outrageously priced. It is a big more than drugstore e/l but so far I haven't found anything there that beats this as far as consistency-that light gel almost 'whipped' texture. I like my liners to be soft and stay that way.

I bought this because of all the good reviews. After using it a couple of times, I still can't get it on my eyes correctly. I have never had any problem with pencil or liquid eyeliners. but for some reason, I can't make a straight line with this thing. Maybe the product is good but its just me who can't put it on correctly. but I feel like it was a waste of money for me because liquid or pencil eyeliners are easier to use than this.

I used to wear liquid liner on my upper lashline but after awhile of always having to "fix" or redo the line I gave up on liner. Whenever I get my makeup done at MAC they always use this liner on my lashline. After three makeovers (I always got distracted and bought the eyeshadows they used), I finally bought it and fell in love! I can line my lashline in one try. So long liquid liner! I have now bought all the colors from MAC Me Over and the new one from MAC Fall Collection. In love with these! I use the 210 brush to apply and it's so easy!

EDIT 03/28/12---I will absolutely NOT repurchase any Estee Lauder products until they choose to quit misleading their customers about animal testing and fully commit to a no animal testing policy.
I am continuously amazed at the awesome reviews of MAC products when I have returned probably 2/3 of what I've purchased. I will say this liner applied beautifully - like a dream. The color (rich ground) was also beautiful. But this didn't last near as long as my Clinique gel liner. I thought about keeping it even though it was not dark enough for me to use as a liner but when it didn't last I knew it had to go back.

In Australia this is 32$, 13$ cheaper than Bobbi Brown geliner.
I think next time I will purchase Bobbi Brown.
This comes off me in 5 hours, far less superior than one of my cheap CG. And yes, I use an eyelid primer underneath, and yes, I set it with eyeshadow.
I use an angled brush to apply.
Overall, I do not understand the hype with this product! I found that not only does it come off, It smudges REALLY easily, sometimes when i notice an excess bit, I just swipe it and it comes off!
The price was not cheap either.
DO NOT buy this product! Just invest in a Bobbi Brown gel liner, far far far superior to Mac Fluidline.

A nice deep black color, glides smoothly with a wet brush. And the price is right! I will buy again.

I love these, and have a bunch that are over 2 years old. Still creamy and smooth, because I STORE THE POT UPSIDEDOWN!!! Just a tip for anyone saying they dry out. Same with paint pots. STORE THEM UPSIDEDOWN. That way you can see the color you're reaching for, too. Never had one dry out on me.

Inglot and Mac fluidline make some awesome gel eyeliners. The quality is the same as the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner but I think the texture of the Inglot and Mac is smoother and less prone to drying out/cracking etc. Fluidline has slightly bulkier packaging (glass vial) vs inglots which feels like a light acrylic container.
I bought dipdown (matte brown) which complements my pale skin/blonde hair. Black is good but for workwear I need a softer colour. no doubt the Mac blacktrack is just as superb in texture and pigmentation. I feel that Mac and Inglot do not last as long as the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliners and they smudge ever so slightly more but the difference to me is negligible.
If you are price-conscious try the Inglot eyeliners first - to me they are EXACTLY the same quality. If I was to do a blind test I am sure people would not be able to tell the difference between the two.

If you don't use this product everyday the cream dries and when you place it on your lid it will not be smooth.

I have been using this black eyeliner for 4 years.
Pros:
- Price is reasonable
- A pot can last me for several months
- Application is easy because of its texture [I use a lip brush as an eyeliner brush]
Cons:
- It does smudge after 4 hours and re-application is needed [the smudging could be due to my oily lids and I do not use eye primers]
- Need to bring brush always for touchups

great for liner and as a base for eyeshadow (if you are going for a smokey or dramatic eye). i religiously use dipdown for my brows with the #266 angle brush. this is one of my favorite MAC products. a little bit of product goes a long way. i have the fluidline in several different colors, but normally use dipdown and blacktrack.

I love Fluidline! Idk how I could go without this product.
I have Blitz&Glam, Waveline and Macroviolet...
I use the 209 brush from MAC to apply it.
Long lasting, creamy, sets very nicely, doesn't crust when removing my lashes AHEM**smudge pots**
Love this product, MAC did amazing with it. If they added more colors would be amazing :)

Amazing cream eyeliner. I was so used to liquid eyeliners with the felt tip applicator, so I'm still getting adjusted to using an angled brush (MAC 266) for this. My biggest problem with eyeliners is smudging - no matter what, the eyeliner will ALWAYS smudge because of my watery eyes :( With this one, the smudging is very minimal! The only possible qualm with this is that I was used to a VERY BLACK liquid liner, and this doesn't seem quite as dark. Maybe running a dark black eyeshadow over it will help. Still a good product.

One lippie for their packaging and reasonable price. I must admit that they have the best packaging for gel/cream liners since the caps screw on very effortlessly. Aside from that, I think the fluidlines are one of the worst gel liners that you can get. It's really soft and liquid like which is nice to work with but it applies very sheer! I can see my skin underneath the liner after one swipe. I do not want to go over it with additional swipes. Bobbi Brown, Stila (on the dry side), Physicians Formula, Loreal HIP, Clinique all make liners that are better that fluidlines although my favs are from Clinique and BB.

I have had this product for over a year and not really touched it. Thought I would line my upper lid with it and an angle brush but I couldn't master an even line on both eyes so I gave up and started using eye pencil to line my water line. I have been using MAC technikohl and MUFE aqua eyes pencil for my water line but both smear terribly in both corners of my eye. The MAC associate recommended I try fluidline in my water line and using a small angle brush. Guess what, it didn't smudge! For extra staying power use black eye shadow over top. This is a miracle for me and I'm now a loyal user!!!!

Was never a liquid liner fan before but that changed after I tried this product. It's super easy to draw perfect lines (thin or not) even with the most shaky hand. Doesn't smudge but comes off easy with make up cleanser. The only thing I suggest is to always close the jar very tight to prevent drying.

I love this product! I use it everyday~ :) It glides on very smoothly~ I usually have trouble lining my eyes with my shaky hands but with this product it comes easy! The only thing that I have against it would be that I wish it was waterproof~
