I really dislike the fact that this bottle is like something you use to water plants. Firstly, I wanted this perfume because my mom's best friend was wearing it and I asked her. She told me and I definitely tried hard to find it until I stumbled upon it one day at Winners. Price-wise, it was not too expensive but I cannot believe I paid such an amount for it. The scent is pretty unique, you either hate it or love it. Neither I love or hate it. I'll just finish it and that's the end of it. I personally love fruity scents while this one was a bit "different".

i'll admit i don't understand the opening of this at all. there is a bizarre fruity lime / ginger (candy? floor cleaner?) blast for the first ~30 seconds, but if you can survive that, and it works with your chemistry, this has the most amazing drydown that lasts forever. seriously, this is the strongest EDT i've ever used.

lingering notes of dry autumn leaves, dark church incense, the inside of a cedar chest, cinnamon bark, spicy carnations, and some very warm undertones of vanilla and cloves.

something about this reminds me of the CdG Incense series. just close your eyes and ignore the fact that it's called "green" and has a kitschy bottle!

I think the reason why people hate the smell of Green is because it doesn't work with your body chemistry. I remember always wearing this perfume and receiving so many compliments and my friend wore it one day and it smelled really sour on her. If you don't like this perfume that is fine, but it really is true about certain smells working with your body chemistry. For example: I love jo malone white jasmine, but it smells really sour and awful on my skin and smells wonderful and floral on others.

Unfortunately for me...this perfume was discontinued by diesel. I still have a full bottle that I've had for a few years and it still retained its smell and didn't spoil the way some scents do. If you like the smell then I suggest buying on ebay.

Not sure why this has so many bad reviews. Maybe because it is an unusual fragrance. Def not your average floral.

I would describe it as a fresh but spicy green lime/ ginger. Really great for hot summer days and fairly long lasting.

The packaging is def quirky but it does the job.

this bottle has been sitting around my house from the past 3 or 4 years, with no use.
i bought it at TJmaxx cuase i like the bottle style (nothing ive seen before) liked Diesel and it was cheap!
i came home opened the box and discovered that i didnt like the smell- so i put it away, using it as air fresher from time to time.
recently i picked it up again, and realized that it doesnt smell THATT bad.
since its the summer i want to try and use it up. its not a bad smell, its just not your normal flower garden smell.
for people that like something diffent this is prob for you.
the best way to describe the smell is maybe soda with a twist of lime! its sweet but not too sweet.
i know its not being sold but if you can get your hands on it, give it a try.

This is a really great fragrance afflicted by really crap packaging. The nozzle comes at you like a spray gun / fire hose. It's green but lime not leaves and spicy. If this came in a gorgeous bottle I think people would love it, especially for summer or if lime ever really came into vogue the way lily and other notes have had their day. It's not expensive at all - so I reckon, buy it and decant it into a better bottle.

>>
Note - if you love this, try the Aesop Wild Lime serum .. YUM (not literally - don't eat it, just put it in your hair)

I agree. The longer you wear it, the better it gets. And it's not one of those wuss perfumes that fade away within minutes of spritzing. As amazing as this scent is, it's not for everyone...contrary to the "Green" name, I'd say it's a darker, woodier kind of smell that I think would be more appealing to older age groups. The bottle is fun for about 2 minutes, but very inconvenient, especially if you're someone who likes to smell good on-the-go.

*edit* just found out it's been discontinued for a while :( :( :(

This is a very green scent, as the title implies. It's also a little spicy and floral, but I find it to be a little masculine for my taste. I have the EDT and the deo spray, and they both have decent lasting power, but that isn't exactly a good thing when the scent itself isn't great.

Green Diesel Feminine

I can't believe this has so many bad rewievs.Too bad it is so hard to find it but when you do it's overly cheap for a fragrance like that. . It's not a classy bottle but I'm very versatile so are my scents it's definately not boring more of a fun indyvidual green spritz spray ...very cool .To me is somewhat of a sister to Hanae Mori Magical Moon. Incensed and psychodelic:)

Diesel Green Feminine

I really like this fragrance. At first I thought it smelled a bit too masculine, but it dries down nicely on my skin after about half an hour and smells lovely. All the girls in my office have tried it, and most of them really like it too. I asked my husband if he liked it, and he said "Im not sure...". I hate the bottle though. It looks cute, but is not very practical if you want to take it anywhere with you. May repurchase in the future if the price stays low or I see it discounted somewhere.

It looks like bug spray.

It smells like bug spray.

Therefore it is bug spray.

Except it's bug spray that doesn't work.

Fortunately, someone gave me a sample free, and I didn't actually pay for it.

Back when I was in my early twenties I worked for a brief time as a chambermaid at a hotel on the tip of Cape Cod. My boss, the inn's owner, had a motley assortment of strange, exotic pets that I, being low woman on the totem pole, had to clean up after. Skippy the ferret used to sh*t all over the rug in her suite, and I would use this odd stuff called "Simple Green" to take to stains off of the carpeting without stripping the color. Simple Green was noxious, cloying stuff. It stripped the nose hairs right out of my sinus passages every day and I swore after I quit that job and moved on to greener, more lucrative pastures that I would never come into contact with it again. But ten years later, lo and behold, I found a fragrance clearance at my local TJ Maxx, and there was this cute little bottle of stuff by Diesel called "Diesel Green." I bought it without sampling it, thinking that for $5 it wouldn't matter really. When I got home and tested it on my arm, I was overwhelmed by the frantic, desperate urge to start scraping ferret sh*t off of my own living room carpeting. After I recovered from the dry heaves, I showered, then dry heaved again. This is the sickest excuse for a perfume ever concocted. Diesel is undoubtedly in cohoots with some big industrial cleanser manufacturer to dispose of their overstock after they were caught polluting rivers and killing innocent unsuspecting fish populations. If smelling like a recently waxed gymnasium floor is the effect you're after, save yourself money and spray yourself with Pinesol instead. This stuff is positively Luciferian.

Well, the packaging is adorable, a little bug spray bottle, it looks fun in my perfume collection, but WOW WHAT A SMELL!!
All I get from this perfume is the top note of lime, and a grungy unappealing bottom of spicy strangeness. (I think the spicy bottom note is too sharp for me, I prefer a warm spice on the bottom.)
I managed to make it work tolerably on myself by filling in the middle with a perfume that is a bit too floral for me to wear on it's own. I still don't feel that yummy, though :)
I don't terribly regret this purchase, as the bottle is so cute, but I am not one of the people this smells great on! :)

This stuff is strange, so say the least. I bought it because I really like the Diesel brand and am a big sucker for all their stuff.
Anyway, this frangrance smells rather cheap and manly. I have been using it in the winter, but I thik it would be better in the summer or something. I'll have to wait till summer and see. I like it ok, but its not my fave.

I tried to like this perfume, but I just couldn't stand it anymore. It smelled so different and mysterious in the store. I bought it and put it on this morning. The top notes were not too bad. Mostly I got lime from it. But as the day progressed, I started hating it more and more. By the time 1:00 pm rolled around, I felt like yakking. The middle notes are not very good, they smell too synthetic, which I think may be the whole point (since the bottle looks like a bug sprayer). Luckily I brought the bottle with me to work; I like to touch up after lunch. One of my co-workers liked the smell, so I gave the whole bottle to her. Good Riddance. The price was OK, got it from a discount fragrance store. The only good thing was the bottle, so original and unique!

When I first sprayed it I thought it was icky - almost along the lines of bug spray. By the time I got into the car I couldn't stop smelling my arm, it was so delicious! Blends wonderfully into my skin. It's not strong on me, just natural smelling and fine for summer. I solicited opinions from others and they were very very positive. Try before you buy, this is a temperamental perfume! The sprayer is a little cumbersome. EDIT: the lasting power is not the greatest on this perfume, so I am removing one lippie. EDIT #2: I doused myself in this perfume before a party and was showered with compliments. I am adding the lippie back on!!

Tried this today - pretty lackluster, smells like the cheapo perfume it is - kind of flat green plant notes and that funky alcoholly generic "fragrance" smell that permeates cheap kid perfumes. Sporty and fresh - but nothing spectacular. It's like a weaker, less ripe version of Claiborne's Curve to me. Oh, and one of the TJ Maxx employees who was pounding stock at the time walk past and went, "PEE YOO!" whilst frantically waving her hand in front of her face to dissipate the alcohol cloud. Yikes!
