ive been using this eyeshadow for about 7 yrs- i first bought it when i was 13 and this has been the only brand i use for red eyeshadow. I am not a big fan of vibrant eyeshadows but red has always been an exception. One of the cons of this shadow is that it can stain a lot, especially from fall out that u might get while applying it but other than that it works fine. I always wear this as more of a highlight under some black eye shadow and i also line the bottom of my eye with red so it looks more striking mixed with black liner. I will keep buying this shadow

On me, the red doesn't look red. It has a little of a burgundy tone to it. But still, this color is pretty awesome! It's very bright, and it works really well with my other colors. If my eyeshadow don't come out the way I like, I can always count on this red to rescue it!

I love it, I love it, I love it! I has awesome staying power, very rich in color, and I feel quite feisty when I'm wearing it

It's getting easier to find matte reds on the market now a days but this still remains the best and most truest shade available. The red is an intense, highly pigmented bright color. And when I say highly pigmented I mean it - first timers watch out, a little goes a long way. Which leads me to my only negative criticism I have of this - it's incredibly hard to remove and can stain your face if you're not careful.

As for the shadow it's self, it does seem well blended but it's not the smoothest formula out on the market. It was very easy to blend with my other eye shadows though.

Over all this is a very good, recommendable purchase for anyone looking to invest in a true red eyeshadow. The shadow is priced very affordably (if it is unattractively packaged) and you get a lot of package. Would definitely purchase again.

I love this color! I was in love with UB shadows, but they cost a pretty penny. This is 1/3 of the price of a UB shadow, and it's a bigger compact, and it lasts longer! What more could you want?

I was looking for a true red, relatively cheap eyeshadow, and I finally found it in this one. I refer to it as "crayon red." :-) I love vibrant eyeshadows, and this one certainly is. I got it at Hot Topic for around $5. I had to look up online the brand name as the pot has no markings whatsoever on it--apparently it's Bloody Mary Rebel in Flame Red. Among other times, I like to wear it around Christmas time with green and/or white shadow--green and red is especially bright, red and white looks like a peppermint stick. :-) I often get compliments when I wear it. Only downside is that it tends to fade a bit, especially/mostly around the crease area. It'd probably work better if I bothered to wear a base on my eyelids.

Oh, and by the way, the first two pictures look nothing like the shadow I have--that looks hot pink, mine looks true red. I'll try to get a picture up.

I absolutely love this eyeshadow, and I have pretty high eyeshadow standards. This stuff is cheap and you get a huge pot of it. Usually, that spells disaster. This is excellent eyeshadow, though - really highly pigmented, it's probably the truest red I've ever used (except maybe MAC's Basic Red pigment). I always use a base with my eyeshadows, and this goes on really smoothly, blends with ease, and stays put. The texture is, to me, really quite surprising considering the price. Totally comparable to MAC's regular matte shadows. I basically have absolutely nothing bad to say about this.

I primarily apply this with a skunk brush as a blush. It goes on as a lovely sheer fuchsia color; it is a surprisingly natural flush, like after one has been exposed to the cold. The packaging is not very good; the pan had become separated from the pot even before I had opened it. That was actually quite convenient for me as I had planned to depot it anyway. This pan is the same size as Milani, Jordana, Jane, and Cat Cosmetics blush pans, and Prestige and Missha eye shadow pans and so will fit in a Missha or Cat Cosmetics palette.

I love this color! It shows up an intense, fiery red and, when blended, becomes a crazy bright fuschia. It looks really wild and dramatic against my pale complexion. The texture of the eyeshadow is rather hard, but it blends pretty well. It doesn't crease or fade on my oily lids, even without a base! Holy moly. It comes in a large, screwtop container and it's cheappppp. I got it from Hot Topic. I will most definitely repurchase!!!

EDIT: A tiny bit of this mixed with a little dab of moisturizer makes an awesome sheer, hot pink, cream blush.

The color is cool- I agree with another viewer when they said it is like the color on a Geisha. I have such oily lids so this doesn't last as long on me as it could. Whenever I wear this color with black eyeshadow, people ask me if I got in a fistfight, which is cool i guess lol. I would repurchase.

This product is great! Purchased it at my usual store I go to at the mal every time Hot Topic. When you put it on it goes on smoothly and it stays on and is vibrant and bright. You get a huge container of it like the size of a blush container and its nice to have and it lasts a long long time! The only thing is after you wipe it off you still have a little bit on but its still worth it if your looking for long lasting colour. This comes in other colours other then red. I have this maroonish colour this bright green pink and grey! Great Buy highly recommend it!

This red is a VERY vibrant red, great for that goth or punk look. The staying power is great, stays on all day, with hardly any creasing.Pretty good for an eyeshadow picked up at Hot Topic for $6!

There's two eyeshadow colors I'm always looking for, but can never find in any brand- red and reddish fuschia. Then I walk into, of all places, Hot Topic, and find both colors in one cheap eyeshadow. $6.99 for a huge pot of shadow, the size of a Jane blush. "Red" goes on a true, bright red when applied heavily. And if applied lightly on pale skin, it shows up bright fuschia...like the color you'd see on a Geisha. An absolutely gorgeous, vibrant, unique color. My only gripe is that there's no brand or label printed on the packaging...but otherwise an amazing product.
