I have used about 5 pots of this over the years.
PROS
I like it as a simple day eye cream because it gets along with all my eye makeup.
It doesn't make my eyes water.
It keeps the area hydrated
I like the brown coloured pot
CONS
I don't like pots- for hygiene reasons. Have you ever watched the film Contagion?
I don't think it does much for fine lines

I love eye creams! is my skin care must have so I was really looking forward to this one but I really didn't like this! It dried my eyes so bad that fine lines appeared! It was just awful, I really regret buying it.

This a very decent eye cream. It does help with line reduction and has a very nice consistency. My makeup goes on nicely over it.The only negative is that it is not moisturizing enough for the winter months.

I received a packette sample, which contains quite a generous amount. It felt rich & creamy upon touching & yet it is not greasy/shiny on the skin. Unfortunately, that feeling is gone within 10 minutes, I put another layer on, and another 10 minutes another layer ..... 3 generous layer, on both sides of my dry skin, not just in the eye area. The dryness of the skin was not satisfied.

I am a Kiehl's fan. I have tried their cleanser, moisturisers, scrub and midnight recovery serum with awesome results. That being said, I didn't hesitate to try their eye cream and the sales lady recommended the Abyssine Eye Cream for my fine lines and winkles. After using it for 1 month, it made my under eye area more dry and more fine lines have developed as a result. I stopped using it, and my eye area went back to normal after 1 week. It is not as expensive as some eye creams, but for what you're paying, it should at least hydrate, but no. It does nothing.

I have dry skin. This did not do much at all and almost felt like my skin was drier after putting on than before. I would not buy again. Just doesn't seem like a high quality eye cream.

This really didn't do anything for my undereye area. It's not super thick and wears well under makeup. But it didn't help for wrinkles as it claims. I wouldn't suggest this for people with dry skin either. I have oily skin and did not find this undereye cream to be very nourishing.

This eye cream did nothing for my dark circles..it didnt really moisturise as much either..i tested it out because the salesperson recommended it over the avocado eyecream. I much prefer the bobbi brown eyecream as it was more moisturising, evntho it did not do much for my dark circles either. However this product did feel good as it felt light and not too thick. It can be easily applied on and easily absorbed.

I don't really have really dark circles, I just need a moisturizing eye treatment since my lids tend sometimes to dry. I feel my skin softer and it hasn't dried.

This is one of the worst eyecreams I have ever tried. The lady gave me two samples which lasted me like two months. It did nothing for the lines and puffiness under my eyes. Good thing it was only a sample.

A nice eye cream, but nothing special. No miracles performed here! I can't attest for the claims: "deter the effects of aging on the skin while providing instant moisturization and diminishing the look of fatigue."
The almost gel-like light cream is moisturizing. Spreads easily and evenly and absorbs VERY fast, so for those of you who use eye creams in the morning before your make-up, I would recommend this. There's no residue and nothing weird happening with your makeup when applied overtop (ie. pilling, flaking.) Comes in your basic screw-top little jar. I would recommend it but most would pass because of the steeper price tag. I don't think it's worth the money, but I would buy it again.

This product is absurd. I got this because my cousin had some sample packets and had run out of her full-size jar, but wanted me to try some. She gave me one of her few.
I suggested that perhaps she should simply squeeze a packet into her empty jar to stretch it a little farther. Here's the kicker: one single free sample pack filled her empty jar half full. Huh? We stared at it in amazement for awhile. Why spend the $33USD retail price for this when you can just ask for samples?
Using this product, I can understand why they're willing to give so much for free: it's terrible. It leaves my eye area feeling greasy and strange. What's more, it ran into my eyes and made them blood-red! I tend to lean towards conservative use of products, and no matter how little of this product I use, it always went right into my eyes.
Abyssine Eye Cream did nothing but make me cry, literally. Boo.

I would say this is the best eye cream I have ever used so far. It doesn't do much for dark cycles, ( I have really dark cycles, and none of the eye creams I used help) but it makes the lines less visible. I may want to try something else as I have been using it for more than 1 year, but will come back to it.

I got a sample of this cos I am really unsure if I should buy Clinique all about eyes rich or kiehls. This eye cream doesnt work at all. Its fine if u do not have lines. The texture is very light but it doesnt improve my eye lines at all. Its even worse than Estee Lauder ANR eye serum which is another expensive but wont work product. I wouldnt say Clinique is the best. I am still searching.

The sales rep at the Kiehl's store preyed on my insecurities after I returned from a vacation in the Yucatán and my skin got a bit dry after lots of swimming in salt water and days on the beach. She said I should have started using an eye cream 30 years ago. I lucked out genetically and do not look my age, just starting to get fine lines. Advertised as anti-wrinkle defense, this cream has a nice light texture and I put it on religiously just like the rep told me every night before bed. For the $32 price tag for 0.5 oz, it made no visible difference whatsoever.

I love the Abyssine Eye Cream. It's very soothing, blends right into the eye area, and moisturizers well. Most importantly, it does not irritate or run into my eyes like most other eye creams do, especially Clinique's. I don't think it does much for wrinkles or dark circles but then again what does except a good concealer.

As with the Abyssine cream I got as a sample from the Kiehl's counter, this started out okay and then felt greasy. I do not have really any wrinkles under my eyes but at 29, I'm looking to prevent aging. I do get dark circles and morning puffiness so this cream would not be for me as it doesn't address those issues. My eyes felt gross and slimy. This would be a terrible base for concealer or foundation. I'd never buy this. Ever.

This cream has a nice texture but it makes a very bad base for a concealer (I used La Prairie concealer).
