I hate liquid foundation; somehow I always come out looking strange. That being said, sometimes I need to look "put together." I tried this tm because my old one wasn't really doing the job anymore but I still don't want a liquid foundation for every day. Then again I can't stand the thought of shiny forehead, nose and chin by 9 am! So far this is a light feeling makeup for me.... While it doesn't *feel* like foundation, it certainly covers like one when used with powder! Doesn't seem oily (yet). I'll probably use it, but I don't know that I will buy it again. I'd recommend it to try if you want a light feeling, light/medium coverage. I do wish there were more colors for us super fair people!

I like this stuff for days that I don't want to do a full face of makeup. It gives a nice healthy sheen for the face. It covers redness just enough to make you look normal but not too much. The only thing I don't like about it is that it smells so bad of sunscreen. I know that it has sunscreen in it, and that' doesn't bother me, but the smell is SO strong. Other than that I really like it and would repurchase.

I love this tinted moisturizer! Please please please do not give this product bad reviews if it does not give you full coverage, hence why it is a "tinted moisturizer" (my pet peeve!!!). You will need a concealer with this if you have any blemishes. I will say, this gives a good amount of coverage for TM! It covers my redness and I need to go in with a concealer for my blemishes, but I do that with any foundation anyway!
-Beautiful finish, looks like skin!
-Very bendable and lightweight
-Good coverage for a TM
-Color match (atleast for me. I use the second to lightest shade and I'm an NC20)
-Lasts all day even on my very oily skin.
-Has a nice smell
-Good for your skin

I really like this product. It's light but provides enough coverage to even out redness. My pimples are less obvious with this on but not completely camouflaged which is what I would expect from a tinted moisturizer. The pro to this is that it does show enough of my natural skin to not erase my freckles. This also makes the color matching a bit more forgivable as the product doesn't completely canvas my natural skin tone. It feels nice on my skin and lasts fairly well. It does require some powder after a few hours for us oily skinned gals.

I sometimes wish there was a review 'maybe' option for buying it again. I've gone through 2 of these in the past; both the 10 and the 20 shades. And the shades are very forgiving, hence cavalier shade switching. It's a nice, light tinted moisturizer with sunscreen and retinol. Sure, the retinol may well degrade in the clear pump, but at least I can fool myself into thinking it's there, regardless of whether it's truly working. Speaking of the pump, it's very nice, and dispenses a decently measured full face amt. at once. It's a very light tm, good for casual days and/or wearing under powder, and helps even out my skin. It doesn't irritate me. And it is decently moisturizing in Spring and Fall months. So why the 'maybe' you ask? Well, when I first bought this I'd read some earlier reviews that spoke of horrible streaking when it got wet. Cocky me, as I hadn't experienced anything of the sort, and so I thought I was immune. Fast forward to earlier this summer when, wearing Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer one VERY hot and humid afternoon with no a/c in my car, I popped into Wally World for some odds and ends. And eventually I hit the cosmetic aisle and took a quick look in the mirror. And my entire face was streaked with long white blotches from where my sweat and the tm had met. I was mortified, and yes, it was VERY obvious. Since then, I waited until the weather turned cooler to finish up this last bottle, and each day I've worn it, checked the weather report to make sure it wasn't going to warm up too much. So, no, I likely won't buy it again, but none the less, while it lasted, it was a decent little tm- for more temperate times.

This was the best tinted moisturizer for 2011 and 2012 on Temptalia website, I really like her recommendations, and so I thought I will give it a try. I don’t typically wear foundation as I very dry skin and it accentuates any dry patches, I have not found a foundation that is good for dry skin and I didn’t try a lot of foundations either. However, I like to have a something on my face other than SPF and moisturizer. This is perfect for that reason, it has a very light coverage and I don’t think it even evens out the skin but I find it great for my dry skin. If you are looking for a medium coverage, this is not for you. I use a very small amount and cover the entire face. I don’t apply it on my nose as my nose is always flaky and it hard to blend over dry areas. I also like that it has SPF, I know SPF 20 is not a lot but it is better than no SPF at all. I really like this and will definitely repurchase if ever I run out. It gets five stars for packaging, it has a pump and dispense right amount and you can easily control the amount you want, great for when you are in crunch in the morning.

I like this product! I've been using it for about 2 weeks now. The coverage is pretty minimal, if you are looking for a lot of coverage this is not for you. I like it because it evens up my skin and then I use a concealer over my red spots. It keeps my skin matte and no oil or greasey build up during the day. It's a little expensive for a drugstore brand but I would repurchase!!

I have used this in the past when I had bad acne and really oily skin and I hated it because it would look greasy and offer no coverage. Now that my skin has calmed down I actually like this more than a lot of drug store bb creams. I use this over sunscreen under my smash box cc cream as a primer and it evens my skin tone and does not get oily. I'm glad I tried this product again.

All hail the original (American) BB cream. That's right -- before a lot of other companies came out with tinted moisturizers that do "other stuff too" - Neutrogena was at the forefront with this. I am kind of ashamed of myself for not reviewing sooner, as this has been in my rotation for years. On weekends, this, sunglasses, and lip balm have kept me from scaring more than one small child during coffee/bagel/donut runs. Am closing out the last days of the warm summer with this, and my skin couldn't be happier. Wouldn't say its HG - shades are limited & sometimes you need more coverage and priming - but its certainly been a good to be over the years and I have repurchased many times.
- Light to medium light coverage
- Great sun protection
- Great skin care ingredients - the Retinols make it a good fit for skin that is mildly acne prone & mature
- Convenient - Feeling lazy -- just use this for moisture and color - Want to glam it up -- you can pimp it out with primer, then this, concealer & powder
- While it won't control oil per se, it certainly won't oxidize or make your oily skin worse -- for this reason I love for summer
- Love the pump
- Looks and works best on "good skin" - i.e. this won't do you any favors if you need medium + coverage or have a massive breakout
- Do not like it under other liquid foundations - this stands alone!
- Limited shades
- Not buildable - if you use too much will almost look a little "milky" if that makes sense - think its from the SPF
All this said - if you can find a color match, if you have good skin that you want to even out, if you hate foundation but want a little something, and if you are lazy and want one thing that does a lot but not everything well - it is certainly worth trying.
