I love fluidlines in general I use use blacktrack daily, as far as frostlite is concerned I wear it on the lower inner rim of my eyes for that little sparkle. It does take a bit of trickery to go on smoothly there to not look clumpy but it speads. Against my nw45 complexion it looks amazing and brings my eyes to life with its frosty gold shimmer!

This isn't something I normally reach for, but I have a TON of makeup so a lot of my products are like that, it doesn't mean they are bad.
Anyways, I use a lot of the Fluidlines as bases, this one especially. It is a great frosty base! I used it on my boyfriends little sister for a fairy-like look that she wanted me to do *she is like 10 years old haha* and it was a great base to hold a nice sparkly shadow.
Like someone had mentioned it is good to use as a tearduct highlight, which it is, and it doesn't fade like a shadow might, but I usually put a shadow over it just to up the brightness.

This is gorgeous, dont get me wrong but yes...vanilla in a fluidline form. I was expecting more of a bright and bold white with shimmer but it's not.
I used it today as a brow and tearduct highlight and yep, it looks great, just like vanilla does.
Great color if you dont own vanilla, dont get me wrong!

Frostlite was an impulse purchase for me when I first started playing around with gel eyeliners. Honestly, i have no idea what I was thinking when I bought this, because this shade is definitely not suitable as an eyeliner. That said .. it's very pretty to use to highlight the inner corners of the eyes, and applied sheerly, also makes a good "base" in the same way I would use paints or paint pots. Not the most versatile eyeliner I have, but I've managed to find at least a couple of uses for it. Not one I could see myself repurchasing though.

I'm NC15, so this fluidline is pretty much a winner as far as highlighting goes. Its a little thicker than the rest of my colours but smooth enough to blend onto the browbone and highlight cheekbones etc.

This is definitely vanilla pigment in a fluidline form as the others have stated, I basically got this for a dance performance, and for that purpose it worked perfectly giving me an extremely pale look...but for eyeliner this totally doesn't work at all, even though I'm basically an NC5 all this does is make me look like a ghost.
I really would suggest getting the vanilla pigment over this, because you will be using it for the same purpose since it is not the best for eyeliner. Only reason it got a 2 instead of a one is because it worked well for what I got it for, but it just isn't practical nor is something that is really wearable

i use this as an eye base for light or shimmery e/s and its works great! dries up quickly and stays all day...its a vanilla colour with a sheer golden frost to it so i use it on its own too. i just wish it was a bit more pigmented!

I purchased this color some time ago because I use it on my waterline and sometimes use a touch of it on the inner corner of my eyes. It really does look amazing in opening up your eyes and making them look brighter and more awake. I have also worn frostlite and used blacktrack over it so just a little of the frostlite shows above for added effect. The quality is exceptional and it doesn't dry out like a lot of other liner gels and the staying power is amazing.

In general, I love fluidlines. However, this shade just doesn't work. Like a previous reviewer said, it's Vanilla pigment in fluidline form - a soft ivory with golden shimmer. It's a bit too chalky in application to use as a shadow or highlighter. As a liner, it's too white. I've tried using it as a primer, but found that my shadow skips and drags across it, leading to a blotchy application.

Well, I bought this not wanting it for liner. I wanted a whitish base rather than the paintpots/paints that were alot darker than my skin....so id think colors wouldnt really pop with those.
this def. would not make a good liner at all though.
but...idk. this was my first time using anything mac as a base. and def. not impressed with mac right now. then its only been tested in swatches. maybe itll do better on the eyes....i sure hope so. the colors popped more just using this cheapo 2 dollar halloween paint. so maybe mac is just played up a ton.
EDIT: yea. after playing around with this. it is verrry much a craptastic product. it doesnt crease at all. but colors get dimmed down x1010001100101010. it makes all my shadows look really cheap and seem like they have no color pay off.
but if i use somthing else over it like even a eyeliner, it works ok. but its a pain to have to do that. but it still takes a long time to crease.
i wont return it...using pencils over it isnt THAT big of a deal.
but this def. makes me not want to buy mac any time soon.
EDIT EDIT: well using this than an eyeliner pencil ontop (some hottopic yellow) and it make my eye shadow stay on for 12+ hours! i had to shower so who knows how much longer it could be....so ill bump this up alippy or two. longest i have ever lasted with out creasing and eyeliners are amazing for making colors pop

I called this Vanilla paint pot because the color is identical to the vanilla pigment, ivory with gold shimmers. I use it as an eyeshadow base instead of eyeliner. It makes an excellent highlighter for the inner corner of the eyes, the brow bones, and even the cheeks - just like how you would use the vanilla pigment. It has a creamy texture and slightly softer than my paint pot, making it easier to blend and it never crease on my lids. I suggest applying it with a small taklon concealer brush instead of the fingers because with the fingers it may get messy and you get an uneven result. It looks gorgeous with shroom and all that glitters. I also tried to use it under satin taupe and the result is very pretty as well. Overall, great product but not so great as an eyeliner, I tried line my lower lash line with it and it came out way too sheer and it doesn't look too good when I layer it on my waterline either. So please don't get it if you're planning on using it to line your waterline. But for those who are a fan of vanilla pigment but have troubles making it to stay put, then I highly recommend you to give frostlite a try, it's an awesome eyeshadow base and highlighter.

I REALLY wanted to love this product, but it didn't perform as much as I would've liked. It's a shimmery white color, but when you put it on, you definitely have to layer it. One layer looks like you've been wearing it all day and it's the end of the day and it's finally wearing off. I also found it smudging onto my eyelashes (I wear it on the upperlash line) and so I'd also have shimmery white eyelashes... I do love other fluidline colors though. I don't hate this product, but I don't love it.

I bought this fluidline to use as an eye shadow base and highlighter. It's a sheer pearl colour with golden tones and I love to use it just under my brows to highlight or even the inner corners of my eyes to open them up. They also work great as a base and there is no creasing. I have never used it as an eyeliner as it is too sheer. I would repurchase as it's a handy product with many uses.

I will not buy this again because it is too thin. It isn't thick, creamy, or opaque enough to show up over any of my shadows. It just looks like goopy white blobs and it clumps in my lashline. Doesn't show up pearly white like in the jar. It shows up a silvery cleary glaze. Looks gross, would not buy again. As a sidenote though, It does make a decent eyeshadow base, but when you already have L'Oreal Decrease, AND BeautiControl Shadow Control Cremes, it's really not necessary.

This is my first fluidline and it was not a good experience. On the plus side the colour was a nice pearly white, it dried quickly, came off easily with makeup remover and stayed put for most of the day. The downside was it being very difficult to apply. It did not apply smoothly, instead it was kind of goopy which made trying to make a nice thin line along the lashine impossible. I was forced to make a much thicker line that I would've liked.

The color is a bit yellowish...which i don't like about. because i have yellow skin toned, i wanna stay away from golden or yellow makeup...the pot lasts me forever...i don't think i would buy it again mainly because the texture is too stiff...i use it as an eyeliner base..first i apply Frostlite and then i put on my powerpoint or technakohl eyeliner. making the eyeliner's stay power alot better. i tried this as an eyeliner, but it doesn't glide, just too stiff, i need to wet the brush and then apply this, doesn't work well ...I think i will try the solid brown next time (forgot the name of it)...I wish MAC could have more colors on fluidline and powerpoint pencil...actually they discontinued a few colors or maybe those are just limited edition P.S. I owned powerpoint pencil in GlideWhite..which is the same formula as this fluidline...

This has smooth texture and shimmer, but it's too sheer. I was looking for a silver-white liner that would make my eyes look brighter for a light daytime look, and then really stand out when I wear darker eye shadows. Frostlite is not opaque enough to apply over dark shades, and even on its own, it takes a very heavy and careful application to make it work as a liner. (It was finnicky, even with MAC liner brushes - I tried several shapes.) It is good as a base under pale eye shadows and for brightening up the inner corners of my eyes. But as other MUAers have said, there are plenty of other products that do that for less money.

This isn't a pure white fluidline, but it is a pretty pearl. It's got a nice sheen to it. It has some gold tones to it definately. It def works well as a base, but it doesn't make the shadow colors it brightest as some other primers would. I do like this fluidline a lot.

It is an okay product. I bought it for the purposes of using it as a base, because I can't really see it being used as an eyeliner. It is pretty and makes my shadows nice and stops pigment falling out through the day, but it was cakey and made my eyeshadow a little "wrinkly" the two times I have used it as a base. Maybe I am applying too much as a base?
It is also nice to apply in the inner corners of the eyes to brighten them up a bit, but it is hard to blend. Oh, and it is a GORGEOUS color. It is frosty cream white with golden pearl in it.

I like this color as a shadow base more than an eyeliner. It is a very pretty pearly golden white color. The staying power is a good as the other fluidlines but works best for me to hold my powder shadows. Not particularly special and would not necessarily buy again as I have other products that act as an adequate shadow base for a lot less.
