This palette contained everyday neutral colors. I hated most of the lipstick colors. The eyeshadow colors did not last long without a good primer. It's just ok and I don't think that I would ever purchase this again.

Beautiful palette with thoughtful combinations of shades. This palette is for everyday uses, slightly warm bit not too warm, can work on everyone. The shadows, lips, and blushes work together and there is not one shade that does not belong.
Definitely worth the price.

This palette rocks!! It was suuuch a splurge on my end tho (try $100USD - eeks!!) I found this on eBay and was the lucky winner of this rare find.

I have used everything in this palette and the awesome thing about it is that every item in this palette is versatile and usable because they're all neutrals.

I use the AAE duo and the blushes (deep throat/lovejoy) the most. This is also a great palette to bring along on travels. It's uber awesome - i
L-R / T-B: AAE duo, Lola Lola, Bengali e/s --> Lovejoy and Deepthroat --> Nouba and Barbarella l/s --> Chelsea Girls and Hellfire l/g

Jillyjill described the colors perfectly below. The only thing I can add is encouragement: if you can get your hands on this palette, go for it. I own several NARS palettes, and every color in this palette truly achieves a "glow"-- whether you want a healthy, fresh look for day (AAE with Deep Throat), or a sultry bronzey-look for night (adding Lola in crease, Loveyjoy on the apples of cheeks). There is not one color that sticks out and makes you wonder why it's in there. Truly splurge-worthy!

Purchased from a lovely MUAer, and it exceeded my expectations. The shadows are the AAE duo (a nude satin and shimmer combo),Lola Lola (nice mid range coppery brown w/ shimmer) and Bengali (a matte dark warm brown). All the shadows are finely milled and pigmented and last a long time on me over MAC paint (usually Bare Canvas or Untitled) You can use AAE w/ Bengali to line for a nice day look, and then amp it up for night w/ Lola Lola on the lid. The blushes are Deep Throat and Lovejoy, two of NARS' better blushes imo. They last all day and are heavily pigmented. Finally, the 4 lip products are Nouba l/s(shimmery light nude/brown) Barbarella l/s(my HG true peach no shimmer lippie), Chelsea Girls lip laquer (HG nude gloss), and Hellfire lip laquer(lovely shimmery copper). Note:all the lip products do have that slightly odd NARS smell :(

This palette is highly versatile, and a great deal. I am a neutral FFF w/ blue eyes and dark blonde hair. If you love NARS, it's a must have imo.

After a long search I finally got hold of this palette in a swap with another Nars enthusiast MUAer. Certainly the effort to get a hold of it heightened my expectations. It has exceeded them by far. This is an awesome palette. The colors are warm but neutral enough that anyone could wear them. I'm PPP with cool understones and if I can use these colors that is saying a lot.

This palette looked so wonderful on it sent me on a Nars palette spree! This palette makes me feel beautiful when I wear it. Everything matches prefectly. Colors are neutral warms and I think anyone could wear them. Gives a beautiful natural look. Not for people who like a strong dramatic look. Perfect for an everyday palette. Love it!

I get this palette because of the lovely name "aferglow". You get four l/s, four e/s and 2 blush. The quantity is there, but the price too (at 100$CAN) All are very wearable but the two beige e/s look too much the same (one more pearly then the other). The quality is here, but since i love very shimmery e/s, i don't wear them too much often. The best of this palette is the barbarella l/s, a lovely true peach, the deep throat blush, a perfect natural pink and the nude beige lip lacquer. I will not buy it again, since i don't know if i will finish it one day.

what happened to the cool and exciting names that nars used to bestow on his palettes? warm palette? how boring! it's a good thing this palette is AWESOME, so all is forgiven!
first of all, let me just say how happy i am he decided to include two blushes that weren't orgasm or sin or ninotchka. it was just my luck that he picked two shades i've been dying to try: deep throat and lovejoy. i must admit though, i can't differentiate between orgasm and deep throat, however, i do know that both can instantly brighten up any face. many women, even those with lighter skin, complain that neither of these colors show up on them. i fail to understand how that can be since i'm pretty dark (ga lsf 7/lm almond/mac nc40) and i can definitely notice it. sure, it's not glaringly obvious, but isn't that the whole point of natural looking blush? i am thrilled with lovejoy! it might look a little muddy on paler skin, but it looks fabulous on a mmm/ggg. do i even have to mention how long lasting his blushes are? there's a reason everyone here raves about them a million times a day. bless francois nars for creating the PERFECT balance between color and shimmer!

the eyeshadows include the ever reliable aae duo, lola lola (a shimmery light brown and allure's 2005 best of beauty editor's pick for best brown es), and bengali (a velvety matte chocolate brown - an excellent compliment to lola lola and a superb el color). the aae duo, a mua favorite, is versatile as a wash, base, or highlighting color. lola lola looks very natural on its own or you can create a more dramatic look using bengali smudged around the lash lines. the shadows have good staying power, but i recommend a primer (ud pp!) for oilier lids to keep the color from creasing and fading.

finally, the lip colors: nouba (a neutral golden brown), barbarella (a nude pink), chelsea girls (a sheer nude), and hellfire (shimmery copper). the lipsticks (nouba and barbarella) tend to be drying, so make sure you use a some sort of balm before applying. i'm happy to report that the lip lacquers (chelsea girls and hellfire) no longer have that weird plastic-like taste and smell. my favorite out of two is chelsea girls. i've been on the hunt for the perfect nude lip color a la jennifer lopez. most of them have made me look sick or dead, but this one is sheer enough to allow my natural lip color to show through and has a lovely glossy finish.

it's a shame that this palette is le. you can no longer find it on sephora.com or narscosmetics.com, but it's still available through beauty.com. i recently saw the new palettes featured for this holiday season, and they are an absolute letdown after this one.

Age: 30-35   Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Warm   Hair: Black, Straight, Medium   Eyes: Brown

eyes: All About Eve eyeshadow duo - shimmery nude neutrals

eyes: Lola Lola eyeshadow - medium coppery brown with shimmer

eyes: Bengali eyeshadow - chocolate brown, matte

cheeks: Deep Throat powder blush - peach with shimmer

cheeks: Lovejoy powder blush - bronzed rose with shimmer

lips: Nouba sheer lipstick - pale pinky peach with shimmer, sheer

lips: Barbarella sheer lipstick - warm peach, sheer

lips: Chelsea Girls Lip Lacquer - sheer nude

lips: Hellfire Lip Lacquer - sheer shimmery coppery brown

This palette is the warm palette I was hoping for! I was worried about AAE I, AAE II, and Lola Lola not showing up on my AAB/NC25-30 skin but they are just right. Bengali doesn't look particularly special in the pan, but it is an excellent rich brown shadow - for some reason I have had difficulty finding a good brown shadow, and this was a very pleasant surprise! Deep Throat and Lovejoy are both great blushes, and I like having two blushes to choose from. I also like that two lip lacquers are included, since it's nice to have the option of gloss by itself or over lipstick. The only thing I would change on this palette is to replace one of the AAE e/s with a gold or a peach e/s - the two AAE colors are just too similar to each other and on me. At any rate, I will not be swapping this one away :) As always, love the packaging - sturdy, with rubberized exterior and full size mirror inside.

Great palette: all the colors are really wearable (although Lovejoy blush is a tad too dark/glittery for me) and make a beatuful combination. I love neutral/brown e/s and this palette has got gorgeous shades (my favorite being lola lola and the darker brown which name I can't remember now, and which is ideal as eyeliner).

Oh my, this is a lovely palette! I bought this to take on my honeymoon as a gift to myself. I didn't open it until I got down to the Bahamas. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen! The bronzer is so natural it's amazing! It really looks like I'm still tan, even though I got back from the Bahamas a month ago! The blush is gorgeous. The eyeshadows are smooth as silk. There are three for the lids, and one to line with. The glosses are beautiful, natural and warm. If you're on the fence, treat yourself and get this. Gorgeous, long lasting colors, highest quality available!

I love how this palette brings together the best of Nars.
Pro: It contains 2 great blushes along with eye and lip colors to complete a natural look.

Cons: The lipsticks included are sheerer than their full-size counterparts. I'm not a fan of Nar's rubbery packaging; a lot of microglitter (and some dust) is stuck to the black surface when I took it out of the box. But those are small issues.

Combined together, this palette offers a good deal, moneywise (no, it's not cheap, but the products in the palette, if bought separately, is more expensive. one MUAer calculated the cost on her notepad).

NARS calls it simply "Warm Palette", while Sephora calls it "Afterglow Palette"--I call it divine! The four shadows assembled here create a to-die-for eye that can be sheer for the office, or smoked up for the evening. NARS has finally included a gorgeous liner shade (Bengali) to make this palette truly stand-alone. A new neutral must-have! For eyes: All About Eve duo, Lola lola, Bengali. For cheeks: Deep Throat, Lovejoy. For lips: Nouba and Barbarella lipsticks, Chelsea Girls and Hellfire lip lacquers.
