MAC probably got rid of this one because there are so many similar shades in the permanent line of Lustreglasses. It is a really nice gloss. It is a deeper shade of my naturally pigmented lips. It isn't garish on me because of that. It looks almost purple in the tube but on it is quite sheer with sparkle. I picked this up at my local CCO.

It's a nice brownish-purple color. T'm not sure how great it looks with my fair skin, but I'm sure it would look nice on those with darker skin tones. My only complaint is that I really hate the brush - it's not like a regular lipgloss brush, more like a paintbrush, which makes it a little more difficult to apply.

I can only wear this at night as its too purple/plummy for me during the daytime ... i am an NC30 so i am surprised that i say that ... i usually love those kind of shades for the day time ... but this one (whilst lovely to wear texturwise) is too dark for the day to day.

I do, however, love the brush applicator.

I really like purple colors on me (LLL, NC 30-35). At the store I tried on pop mode, this, decorative and flight of fancy, and I liked this one best. It is very similar to docorative but this is cooler tone (less red or brown or something). On my lips it looks purple in some lights but more pink/mauve in other light. It goes on very sheer and feels good on. Seemed to last at least three hours or so. The brush was a little different as I am used to the sponge-tip kind but it's OK. I would like to get decorative next or pop mode. But I'd repurchase this.

This is a beautiful unique plummy colour on me (NC20). Even manages to make my eyes look greener somehow! I use a little of it every day for a nice stain, or for a darker effect I use MAC Plum l/l with it. I had tried 3 drugstore plum glosses without being happy (stinky, sticky, not pigmented enough, etc.) before realizing this was exactly what I was looking for and worth the $. As a lustreglass, there is definitely more shine and the brush is so darling! Will definitely repurchase this HG.

This is my HG lipglass. It is perfect for day or night- if you apply it lightly it is YLBB, but you can make it more intense for nightime. It looks like a scary purple with glitter in the tube, but looks like a rosy sheen on my lips.

I love the lustreglasses! Angelwing is a sheer deep berry color with pearl. I really like it but again, like another reviewer, I found it so much like Decorative (which I already own) and that would keep me from repurchasing. I find Decorative to be more plum whereas Angelwing is more of a berry....but very similar.

Oh my!! This lustreglass is not a bit short of amazing! The colour is a gorgeous deep berry with pearl. I have only had it for 5 days now and I have already used lie half of it lol, seriously. I LOVE this and will have to buy again for sure.

This is a pretty plum w/ shimmer as described. Love the Lustreglass formulation. Only problem is when I got home I noticed it is the exact same shade on me as the Decorative Lustreglass I already own (maybe a little more purple). This is the only reason why I would not repurchase.

this is very pretty, no doubt, but it reminds me of a sheerer pop mode in lustreglass formula. i'm glad i have this, but i will nut repurchase -- i find that it didn't last as long as other mac lipglosses, and the colour seemed to pool toward the bottom of my lips, if that makes sense.

Don't be scared by the dark plum shade in the tube, because you can apply this pretty sheerly. The only reason I can't give it a 5 is because it's hard to spread on the lips, unlike the other Lustreglasses I have. MAC describes this shade as "fully ripened plum with golden pearl," which fits it exactly. Gorgeous, somewhat dramatic look with my PPP (NW15) skintone and dark brown hair. This shade is not LE and I will repurchase if I ever run out of it.
