I have olive, NC30 skin and brown eyes. I originally had bought the lavender one that Almay recommends for my eye color, but it looked unnatural against my skintone and it didn't do anything for my brown eyes either. I then exchanged it for this one and I am very happy with it! It's a golden brown that looks very flattering against my coloring, and it's also smooth, silky and long-lasting. Two thumbs up!

I really like this eyeliner. I use it everyday. The color is very natural and pretty. It goes on very smooth & easily. And I love that it has a built in sharpener. It doesn't smudge once you apply it, but it can smudge easily if you want it to. It does tend to wear off a bit after a while, but I don't mind much.

The color of this is gorgeous. Really great for us blue-eyed gals. I love the built-in sharpener. But the formula is lacking. It doesn't go on smoothly--I find it tugs as I apply. It's also not very creamy, the tip always seems like it has a "film" on it that keeps the color from gliding on, even when I wipe the tip. It wears off quickly--definitely not all day wear. I would not buy again. I have since discovered gel eyeliners. I'll never go back to pencil.

I don't often use this as an actual eyeliner, as it rubs off when I apply it & it's hard to get a solid line. However I use this as an eyebrow pencil every day instead - very effective & a gorgeous colour! The best thing about the new packaging is the tiny sharpener built in to the end - so useful!
I just wish they sold it in stores in the UK, as I always have to Ebay it from the US.

I love this eyeliner. I use it everyday. It's great for when I'm going for a more natural look and all I use on my eyes is this eyeliner and some mascara, and it's great for when I want to do a little more with different eyeshadows. I've been using this eyeliner ever since the "bring out" collections came out and I will continue purchasing for as long as they make it!

My favorite eyeliner. I was very upset when I ran out, I had to go buy more immediately! This really brings out my blue eyes, not only when used with the rest of the "bring out the blue" set but with a lot of other looks as well. It is the perfect shade- not too dark or noticeable and quite natural, but still sparkly enough for some drama and you can layer it when you want a "smokier" look. I've found that when I've finished my eyeshadow and feel there is something missing, I apply this and it just improves my whole look by brightening and defining my eyes! I also love that it is a self-sharpening twist-up style (I HATE messing with sharpeners!) and glides on very smoothly without tugging. Very easy to layer or put on very little for whatever look you are going for.
A must-have for my blue eyes!

This is a beautiful bronze liner for blue eyes. I love to wear this when I want a more natural look, instead of using black.
The liner goes on very smoothly, and I like that it twists up without having to sharpen it myself.
I think I bought mine for about $6, which is a decent price for .27g. It lasts me at least a few months, since I don't use it everyday. I think I'm onto my 3rd, and I'm so grateful for my roommate who introduced it to me :)
Bottom line: Great color. Makes my blue eyes pop. Good price. Good quality. Decent staying power (I recommend putting a layer on, then eyeshadow, then another layer of liner to make it stay longer). Have already purchased again, and will continue as long as Almay keeps making it.

I love this liner for blue eyes. I had not used it in a while and I picked it up the other week and I just couldn't believe I hadn't used it in so long! I also seem to have an allergy or eye reaction to revlon colorstay liner, but this doesn't cause me watery/red eyes at all, which I love even more! I went and bought this one and the one for green eyes in a bogo free. However, the one for blue eyes is more pigmented than the one for green so I'll be returning the green eyes one!.

Nice, sparkly bronze colour which is suitable for a neutral/taupe eyeshadow palette. I find the application a bit haphazard at times as the rounded tip can leave a too thick line on the lower eyelid. Removes easily for adjustment however. Barely lasts the distance of a regular 8 hour working day so can leave one looking a little less polished by the end of the day. I won't buy a replacement when I'm done with this one.

Nice natural color, very shimmery, just lovely all around! Takes some building up though but brings out my blue very nicely.

Love this. Always use it as bottom eyeliner and rub in around on my lids for a light shadow. at night i layer the almay black eyeliner (for hazel eyes i think) over it and it gives the most awesome color effect. it does not have the greatest lasting power but easy to apply, great color, and like all almay products great for sensitive peepers like mine!

I love this eyeliner! It is the PERFECT color... It really does go on easy and it dries quickly... It makes my eyes pop and lasts until I scrub it off at night!

This is for both the liquid and pencil versions of the Bring Out/ Play Up the Blues copper eyeliner.
Pencil and liquid liner Pros:
This copper color is gorgeous. It has tiny metallic specks that catch the light and really attract attention to the eye area. Its subtle, not garish, which has been my experience with the purple tones that are part of this line too. Nothing is garish or obvious. I had never tried copper on my eyes so now I know it really enhances my light blue eyes and brings out the gold in my iris.
Pencil Cons:
This fades within a few hours. The light reflecting element is still there, but the overall copper color fades dramatically and I don't want to keep applying every few hours. It gets 2 lippies.
I have no complaints about the liquid liner. It stays put. 4 lippies.
I think I'll look for a longer lasting pencil liner in copper. At least now I know that color is flattering. If Almay could get their pencil liners to stick around a bit, they'd have a customer for life with me.

I have a few of these Almay liners and they are fabulous! They give definition without being too harsh, and they have the smoothness of a liquid liner, but offer the control of a pencil. I find that sharpening is unnecessary with these, but they do come with a built in sharpener. They have a lot of staying power and look great all day. I hope they never discontinue these.

This works well for me - I have it in the brown for blue eyes and the purple for green eyes. The tip stays sharp and has just the right amount of flexibility for excellent control without pulling. This pretty much lasts the whole day for me, unless I'm outdoors for an extended period. Not the most dramatic effect, but perfect for daytime. The price is right, so I say give it a shot.

I bought this on a whim and have been using it consistently ever since. Eyeliner on many people (especially over-30 people like me) can look very harsh. I really hadn't used any since high school, and I've always found them difficult to use, either too dry if a pencil or too goopy if liquid. This is a rounded one that never needs sharpening, and it glides on very light and smooth, so it is forgiving. The color is a revelation: a soft shimmery copper that just gives the eyes a little "oomph" without looking at all harsh. I just put a little along my lash line to make them look thicker. If I want to make my eyes "pop", I line the inside of my lower lid. So easy.

LOVE this eyeliner. It's not too intense...just a nice sort of coppery shimmer that may sound scary but isn't. I'm not sure how much it actually brings out my blue eyes, but I really like the color. It also goes on very easily, which is nice from an eyeliner. I will continue to buy this product.

I love this eyeliner. It really makes my blue eyes pop, but I think it would also look nice on people without blue eyes. it's nice and shimmery. You can do a lot with this eyeliner, it can be applied darker or lighter, thickly or thinly. I don't really like using the built-in sharpener though because it's really messy. I'm on my 3rd one and the liquid version rules too.

I have this eyeliner in both pencil and liquid form, and both do exactly what they say they will. My blue eyes really seem to "pop" when I apply these. The color for both is called "Brown Topaz" and it is an iridescent, medium-to-dark brown, almost like a copper, but slightly darker. I usually use the pencil for day, and use the liquid for a more dramatic night time look. My only complaint is that the liquid container tends to get gunked up over time as little bits of eyeliner dry up near the mouth. Gross, I know, but something I am willing to overlook for such an otherwise great product.

While wandering through Big Lots a while ago I found a total set for blue eyes (shadow, liner and mascara). Now, for starters, I think this shadow helped to re-new my love affair with eyeliner. I like a more subtle natural look, and most liners were just...far too much. The sort of coppery color of this liner though was perfect. Its easy to apply, and difines while looking natural on my fair skin. My only complaint is that it seems to have no staying power when any wit of water is involved! Not what you want to wear if its rainy or your off to the gym!
