I love this! I have already gone through 2 bottles of this, and I love it because it's super gentle and rinses off without leaving a film or drying out my skin. My pores are diminished and my skin feels clean and soft after using this.

This product is also perfect for sensitive and dry skin with visible irritation and a red complexion. It will cleanse and leave the skin feeling smooth.

I bought this in a gift set just for the recycled concrete bag!
I think it is OK, but like the moisturiser a bit of a non-event, and therefore probably not worth the price. It is weird as it seems to have little 'beads' (like exfoliating beads) but only a very sparse amount, I don't know if something was weird with my product or what they are for. I didn't find it either bad or good for my skin - I didn't have a negative reaction and my skin was somewhat clean afterwards. I do like to have a gentle cleanser around but I prefer Saaf as it is lovely and nourishing and feels much more worth the money.

I have been using the All Sensitive cleanser and moisturizer a.m. and p.m. for about 5 months and now have congestion on my forehead that wasn't there before. Not good.

This is my HG cleanser. It's mild but cleans deep and is one of the only products I've tried that doesn't leave me red and raw afterwards.

I use this on a regular basis and have repurchased it multiple times. I have sensitive, fair skin that is acne prone. This is the only product I have found so far that doesn't irratate my skin or make me break out. It's a little on the expensive side and I would consider switching to another product if it had the same results & was cheaper, but for now this is what I will keep using unitl I find something else that's better.

Pros: ?
Cons: Dried out my face, caused bumps, stung
My skin is oily, but dry and flaky in the winter. It's also acne-prone and sensitive. This cleanser is incredibly misleading. It was too drying, and that's coming from someone with oily skin, and my face broke out in little bumps after using it twice. I followed the advice of the Sales person and bought this, but in all honesty, and this is probably mean to say but her skin wasn't that great either. I think it has to be a rule that the salesperson who uses that product should have good skin, otherwise do not buy such product.
Good thing Aveda has a lax return policy, because I am bringing this back.

Wanted to try this because I like Aveda hair products. Didn't do anything for me - didn't make my face feel clean, soft, moisturizing, nada. It made my face turn slightly red when used, but have not had adverse reactions. Some people are comparing it to Cetaphil - between the two, I prefer Cetaphil.

It burns. It stings. It leaves my face red. It does not remove makeup. I do like the All Sensitive lotion, but it is not moisturizing enough for me except in summer.

I started using this product today and so far it has caused no irritation, drying or redness. My skin felt clean and soft but not tight. I'm really liking it. My skin is pretty sensitive and I only buy cruelty-free cosmetic products, so its working very well for me.

I've used this cleanser for 7-8 years now - it continues to work beautifully for me. My skin reacts to a variety of ingredients, including those found in many products for sensitive skin. But the All Sensitive cleanser has my number: It is super-gentle, doesn't irritate or strip my skin at all.
I took off one star for parabens. Although their new products are now formulated without parabens, Aveda has yet to phase them out of older products. I think they're behind the curve on this, especially for a brand that prides itself on being relatively natural/environmental.
Clearly a lot of people react to All Sensitive - just as I react to other's hg sensitive cleansers. We're all different in our sensitivities - with that in mind, I'd recommend trying this one out if you haven't yet found the gentle cleanser that works for you.

I do not recommend this cleanser to anyone, After a week of use, my face had broken out in a horrible rash and it is burning and itching like crazy. I have increased redness on my cheeks and below my cheeks. I am going to return it immediately. This is supposed to be for sensitive skin, it made my skin worse . I have never had a reaction like this to anything before. I am so disappointed.

Im actually the same person as Dhuza below... not sure how i have two sign ins, ill have to fix that!
I wanted to give an update: this stuff is HORRIBLE. It was great for the first few days, but literally the DAY AFTER i wrote the below review my face broke out in a horrible rash that Im STILL trying to rid myself of. I have quit using the products about 2 or 3 days ago, now the rash is starting to heal but it hurts BADLY. I wrote a letter of complaint to the company because I think it is a faulty product. So many people get horrible reactions to it and it should be removed from their shelves. Dont bother using it. IT will be great for a few days and then it will bite you in the bum. I have never ever had my face break out in a rash. NEVER. Now I may have scars. SCARS. I cant even begin to tell you how angry and upset I am with these products (I also used the moisturizer and the tourmaline spf 15). DONT BUY IT and if you just started using it, STOP. Its not worth the risk. SERIOUSLY. it hurts.

A very basic milky cleanser... so gentle it can even be used on baby skin.
No smell actually makes this cleanser even more boring. Too dull for me.

I really expected to hate this facial cleanser since it had a pretty horrible rating. However, I have been using this face wash for about a week and my face looks wonderful! The instructions say to use it on a damp face... but since im used to using olive oil as a facial cleanser (you should try olive oil if you have sensitive skin. Its does miracles!) I massaged the lotion like cleanser onto my dry skin... which I think works better (I tried it both ways). So maybe try that if it doesn't seem to be working for you.
I found the cleanser to be NOTHING like Cetaphil... the aveda cleanser is much thicker and more like a lotion.. whereas Cetaphil is quite watery and dried my face out horribly.
I will update if anything changes.
UPDATE: PLEASE read my review above (by narcissa_bell). THis stuff is just horrible. I returned all of it and wrote their offices. Hopefully I will get a reply soon.

I have very sensitive skin and this cleanser is very gentle. It does not have any added fragrance and it's silky smooth. I only use a very small amount. It isn't supposed to be foamy or remove your eyemakeup, it's supposed to be a gentle cleanser for sensitive skin. I agree it's somewhat similar to Cetaphil, but this is much better. I'm not a big Cetaphil fan. I use this in conjuction with the Aveda All Sensitive Toner. I have not purchased the moisturizer, yet.

I just wanted to comment on the user below's review. So glad you wrote to aveda about this! I hate their products, and I was reviewing this less than two months ago when I used it randomly one night but because of your review, you've confirmed to me how horrible it is and you're so right in that it turns the skin into a rash. I am SO SORRY to read you may have scars. If there's anything updated please let me know. Being a student from an Aveda institute, I am NOT on their side and down with all their crap about their products being so pure and how they extract them is done more PC than other companies...uh no.
They lie, and they dont use calming ingredients because since they are SO mainstream now to lower production costs they are using such cheap tacky ingredients. I think it's all the Root Powder ingredients myself that cause irritation with this. Dont use it people! Boycott Aveda skincare...it's all crap!

i LOVE this cleanser! my skin gets super dry during the winter, but this stuff has kept the flakes at bay. and my skin has been pretty clear and less oily since i started using this. or maybe it's due to the semi-weekly use of my homemade aspirin/honey mask. this cleanser doesn't foam, which i'm not used to, but it's evident through the improvement in my skin that this cleanser is doing something right.

I thought this cleanser was one of the worst I've ever used. It didn't get rid of any makeup. It just dried and irritated my skin, which is rarely irritated!
