Perfection in a bottle! I found my perfect cleanser. I have sensitive skin but hate how all the gentle formulas leave me feeling gross & greasy. I found this, and this is heaven! It cleans my skin, it leaves a fresh clean feeling, smells pretty clean, and it keeps my skin blemish-free. With a moisturizer, my skin finally cooperates with me. <3

I just picked up the Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser, Sensitive Skin and I really like it. I have really bad irritated, dry, red, itchy skin…which only gets worse in the winter. I thought I would try this Clean & Clear product because it is advertised as having “added moisturizers” and a “cool, refreshing tingle” – and it does! It is a very rich formula, but it doesn’t really lather, which I miss. I find this Clean & Clear product works best if you put it on as a mask, leave it on for a bit (Ex: while you brush your teeth), and then rinse off. I’ve been using this system for the past three days, and have noticed my skin is clean and the redness/dryness had declined, so I’ll definitely continue using this as a daily cleanser.

This is almost a cream wash instead of a cleanser. It comes out like a face cream and gives you a minty feeling. It barely cleanses my skin. It doesn't cleanse the oil buildup from overnight when I use this in the morning. It does somewhat control oil production. But in order to make the most of this, I need to wash my face with another cleanser before I use this.

This is an amazing cleanser for sensitive skin. Gives you that 'squeaky clean' feeling without burning or making your skin dry. Clears up breakups & prevents them veryy well. But doesn't do much or redness. Still my HG Cleanser tho!

I picked this up because I have sensitive skin. The first week of using it I was really pleased because it's cool on the skin yet it doesn't leave your face feeling dry. I noticed an increase in break outs, but I attributed that to hormones. Couple of days later I cleaned my face with witch hazel after washing. To my horror the cotton came away with lots of make up in it. No wonder my face didn't feel squeaky clean, because it really wasn't. It wasn't because of moisturizers in this wash, it was actually my own facial oil. *sigh* I was so annoyed I honestly tossed the full size tube of this wash into the garbage can. I've used many kinds of facial wash cheap and expensive throughout the years but this one takes the cake for being the most useless.

I used to love Clean and Clear products in college, but the Foaming Cleanser became too drying, so I thought the Cream Cleanser might be a little less harsh. I guess I should have known better, and I'm probably too old and have too sensitive skin to be using C and C products, but this cleanser is so cheap I couldn't resist picking it up. While it feels wonderful going on your skin, smooth and silky with that pleasant menthol tingle, it leaves a residue behind that ended up breaking me out in a few days if I didn't use toner afterward. It does make your skin feel amazingly soft after rinsing, but I think that's just the residue it leaves behind, because I did find this drying after about a week of use. Bottom line: probably not for sensitive skin because of the menthol, but if you're oily and have used menthol before with no problems, give it a try, but make sure to use toner afterward.

I love this CLEANSER!!! It cleared up my acne ridden forehead in just one week. Proactive took 6 months to kick in, and this took a couple days. I should mention that proactiv was a terrible experience for me. After proactiv, I tried neutrogena, which I guess helped to curb my acne A LITTLE, but this cream is very fast working. I would only recommend it for SEVERE acne though, if you have mild acne, stick with something less chemically active like Purpose
I'm just wondering if the chemicals in this product make your skin photosensitive after washing your face? I use sunscreen, but just wondering

I was considering going on accutane but I no longer have to. thank you clean and clear

The first time I bought this product, I really liked it. I loved the tingly feeling afterwards because I felt really clean. But really, its just the menthol making your face minty lol. The 2nd time I bought it, I felt the product itself changed a little. It didn't give me that tingly fresh feeling that I got before and I realized that this cleanser was just too heavy and creamy to really "deep clean".
So I don't think I'll buy this again.

This isn't good for sensitive skin because it has menthol. After using it, your skin is tingling because of how harsh it is. It should be okay for normal skin though.

HG cleanser. I have sensitive skin, that neutrogena, clearasil and even some of clean and clear could not seem to keep up with. This cleanser is perfect. It soothes redness, it doesnt burn, it actually cleans deep, i use a powder foundation and it clears it right up. At first i didnt like the cream part, how heavy it felt, but i realized that is what makes it work with sensitive skin. Foam has wayy more chemicals in it. buy it. its amazing.

I've been a buyer of this product since i was 14 and now I'm 16. So I've been a faithful buyer of this product. I don't have acne problems really thanks to my parents genes! When I was younger I tried almost all the expensive creams that done no good. I bought product from clean & clear and loved it. This however keeps my skin fresh, and feeling smooth! I use it day and night.
My only problem is when I skip using it my skin began to form a pimple. It's like I have to keep using it unless my skin would screw up! So that's exactly what I'm going to do. Keep using it!

i know that clean & clear is a line that is mostly for oily skin but, when i saw that the package said it's for sensitive skin i decited to give it a try...that wasn't the best idea...when i put this on my face it started burning like crazy..and even though i didn't feel like it cleaned my face well it striped my dry skin of any moisture that it had...it might work better on someone with less dry and sensitive skin though

I used this cleanser as a teenager, and recently picked up a tube on a whim. For some reason, I love the scent! This is gentle enough for my sensitive skin, and keeps the oil down without drying. However, I don't get much in the way of clearing my occasional breakouts.

This cream cleanser was ok...it didnt really do anything. My face felt semi/clean after use, but still kinda dry. And my pimples or acne didnt even disappear even a little after a month and a half of using it. I'd say overall, it was acceptable, but not great.

About six months ago I found the Clean & Clear deep action cream cleansers in my bathroom cabinet-both the normal one and the sensitive skin one. I guess i had used them before but stopped and i had found them again. I started out with using the normal one because it was less full, then i finished that and moved on the the sensitive skin one and ALLELUJIAH!!! (i thinks thats how u spell it lol) I loved it, it was creamy and felt deep cleaning, it left my skin soft and moisturized and the salicylic acid in it (check the ingredients) helped keep pimples to a minimum. I had been using this and loving this every night for the past few months-all you need is a little to go a long way-before I got a horrible breakout a couple of weeks ago. I hadn't changed anything in my routine, yet I got the biggest pimples of my life, i had been wanting to change my routine anyways, so sadly, knowing my once almost HG product had failed me, i had to put it back under the cabinet. This is an excellent product and i recommend this, i definitely don't think this was the reason for my breakout, i just think my skin became immune to it. Better luck for you guys!
UPDATE: i was using this noxzema cleanser for three weeks and my skin didnt improve at all, its getting worse! so i'm going to buy a clean & clear cleanser with BP and see how that works. i gave the noxzema to my mom so until i can by that other C&C cleanser i'm using this again.

I love this cleanser! Before, I used clean n clear in gel form for sensitive skin (its light yellow in the bottle) and fell in love with that. When I ran out, I decided to try something different. Though I loved the gel cleanser and it cleansed away my make up very well, I didn't get a "clean" feeling afterward though it did clean my face. So, I picked the Deep Action Cream Cleanser up in Sensitive Skin and I lOVE it! My skin gets extremely dry, whether it be summer or winter. The moisturizers in this cleanser keep my face from drying out and getting oily, and the tingly sensation that I get after is so refreshing! The texture of my skin has improved as well! This product is amazing! Its an essential to my skin!

i am skeptical about creme cleansers but my mom got me this when i ran out of the gel clean&clear sensitive skin cleanser that is light yellow clear in color, first use kinda oily i suppose so i went and got the gel one since i trust that cleanser and never had problems with it, it's good for taking off makeup and making your skin feel fresh and alive. but i was surprised by the deep action cream cleanser... i only use it once a day though, twice a day it dries out my cheeks. i use it on my t-zone, and it does clear up your skin, makes it smoother, reduce redness, etc... so it's nice. don't feel much of the tingly sensation the smell is nice, light fresh ... buy it. now i love massaging this stuff at night when i wash my face, feels silky.

Wow, wasn't expecting much with this since I usually break out from cream cleansers...but I had to try one again because my oily, cystic acne prone skin was also reacting badly to the cleansers I usually use in the summer/fall(get dermatitis in the winter) so I decided to try this (hey it was only 4 bucks, I spent waaaay more on other stuff). This stuff doesn't remove makeup all that good but it is a good basic cleanser for the morning. It feels refreshing (not the typical burning feeling from cleansers with menthol) and menthol is at the bottom of the list so this cleanser didn't bother my sensitive skin nor break me out. My skin feels so soft and smooth and I have less blackheads and my stubborn whiteheads are finally disappearing from the corners of my nose!!! I use less moisturizer now! This cleanser is a keeper! -EDIT- I came back to this after trying almost everything to cleanse my face after my ponds cold cream and this is the only cleanser I can use that gives me soft smooth skin and doesn't break me out in acne and dermatitis!! Plus its great for the summer too! I seem to be sensitive to sulfates and acids...so this cleanser is great for me! HG!!!
