If I could rate this as "the most terrible thing ever to have touched my eye area" I would. Just like the face cream (Active c for normal to combination skin) that I tried this sucks.

So, first of all the package is lame. I'd be willing to cope with that if the product weren't so ridiculous. The consistency is very watery, seems to have no effect at all, doesn't brighten the eye area skin, doesn't even moisturises properly. But the worst, and beware cause I'm about to tell you something beyond imagination, it gave me a hudge pimple in my eye contour. Just like those you get on your chin or forehead in puberty. I'm freakin 27 and never ever did I get a pimple in my eye contour!!!! It's so big and nasty, and is here for more than 2 weeks... Also have a big pimple on my chin due to the active c face cream that is here for me than 3 weeks and other one close to my ear... That's right.... On my temple.... And lots and lots of blacked heads and large, dirty pores... I am absolutely sure this happened due to this amazing line.... I had to throw them away and I'm pissed. I look like someone who does not care for her skin at all and never used a face wash or a toner in her life. Please stay away from this line. La Roche Posay?? NEVER AGAIN

I've read raves about this product and got it but tbh I'm not sure what the hype is about. I like it yes, it gets absorbed fast and seems to moisturize. I still don't have any wrinkles in the eye area but was hoping it would get rid of the redness/darkness of the outer corners of my eyes and it did not.

I repurchased this product again and again, hoping to see some difference. I don't have wrinkles around my eyes (yet), but some laugh lines underneath. I used it hoping that the vitamin C would slowly improve the firmness around my eyes. After over a year, no difference at all. I used it only once a day at night, during the day time I used a different cream which brightens my under eye area. Just a while ago I ran out of the cream and was using this active C cream day and night, after 2 weeks or so the skin around my eyes started to look a bit worse because the cream itself is not moisturizing enough. So I ran out to get my other cream and problem gone. Plus, since the cap is not air-tight, watch out for any color-changing indicating oxidation of the vitamin C to an inactive form.

This eye cream comes in a 15 ml, white and blue, sealed, metallic tube with a pointy cap and an expiry date. Very hygienic container, perfect for travel, and great at protecting the potency of its active ingredients. The cream is fragrance-free, has a light texture, spreads easily, does not leave an oily film on the skin and, in my case at least, absorbs quickly and is great under both makeup and sunscreen. The skin in my eye area is sensitive and although this cream contains Vitamin C (5%), I have had no bad reaction to it, no dryness, irritation, or itchiness, no burning sensation on the rim of my eyelids. Paula Begoun says that when it comes to applying vitamin C topically at levels ranging from 0.3-10%, the benefits may be numerous. If you are interested in knowing what they are, here is the address of the article:

http://www.cosmeticscop.com/skin-care-facts-vitamin-c-real-benefits-topical-treatment.aspx

The tube lasts a long time. I have been using mine for three months already and still have a good third of the contents left. When I am done, I will most likely not repurchase. Mostly because I love to try new things. But also because the positive results, if any, on my fine lines and dark circles, are too subtle for me to see them.

I am using this as an allover face treatment because of its light gel consistency, the fact that it is a stable C product, and that it absorbs almost instantly. LRP Redermic, another Vit C product, was too tacky and sticky. This makes a fine makeup base. How it works just for the eye area, I can't tell you, because as I said I use this all over. It is expensive.

Well I have been researching eye creams for a few weeks. This one came up as a good one on other sites and I have been using it for two weeks. At first I saw no difference and after reading some of the reviews here, I became paranoid and thought my very few wrinkles looked worse! So last night I used another cream I have by Neostrata which I had been using before. This morning I woke up and my eyes looked horrible! I had circles where I have never seen circles before! So I used my Active C and a few minutes later looked MUCH better. I think we all obsess and just expect too much from our products. This is as good a product as most. The reality is that some people react differently to products so we need to find what works for us :)

I had high hopes for this eye cream... so disappointed. I have used it for a couple of months now and I feel like my eyes look worse in the morning when I use this before bed. I've never said that about an eye treatment. They are actually puffier and this has done nothing for lines either. I tried to give it some time before writing a review but I am moving on to something else! Why is it SO hard to find the right eye cream?

It may be early to review this, I have only used it a few days. I am used to much more emollient creams. This is a very light gel. And actually, it's pretty nice feeling. Doesn't leave my eye area shiny or greasy, and makeup goes on fine over it. I had a good test for it this morning - had a night of boo-hooing last night and that always makes my eyes SUPER swollen. I put it on this morning and a couple hours later my eyes were completely de-puffed. I still could feel it, but they didn't look it. Usually my eyes stay puffy until the evening when I cry the night before. So I thought that was good! I haven't experienced any irritation whatsoever from this product, and I've used it on my lids and pretty close to my eyes. I don't know if it is doing what it says as far as wrinkles go, I don't have any yet. I'm trying to prevent them. I have noticed it does brighten my lids, which tend to be on the dark side, and I do like that. Right now, I'm going to continue using it twice a day as I do like it. Eventually I may use this once a day as a preventative measure for wrinkles, but try another eye cream that is thicker and feels more moisturizing and can maybe work faster on the puffiness! But I do think this is a nice product, and I'd recommend giving it a try. That little tube will probably last me a year, a little goes a long way.

I have sensitive skin and find this a good product for correcting fine lines which I believe it was designed for. My dermatologist recommended another product but I went with this. I like it and would continue to use it. If you are looking for something for dark circles this is not designed for that but should help with fine lines. A little goes a long way.

I can't use this product. It stings my eyes, makes them red and my fine lines seem to be more pronaunced. I went into the store to buy the NeoStrata eyecream and the SA told me I should buy this one instead as "it will take care of dark circles, dryness and fine lines". Well, it doesn't!! Will not be purchasing again.

Trust me: this is the worst eye cream ever invented. I used it for more than 6 months, sometimes twice in a day. It did nothing for me. Nothing at all. In fact, I noticed that while using this eye cream my fine lines around the eye area actually increased. I thought I was getting crazy, but then talking to a couple of friends they said the same! And I am only 24!!!

Another friend of mine said: "Dear, change this eye cream now! Try this one". She gave me All About Eyes Rich, from Clinique. What a difference!! Now my lines are better (some of then came up due to the lack of hydratation in eye area), but Im still searching for an eye cream especific for fine lines treatment.

I won't buy this product ever again. Even if they say it's for free.

I really love this stuff and I swear it has firmed my eye area. The texture sinks right in, it feels soothing and cooling, and it moisturizes just the right amount for me. I appreciate the airtight metal tube, which preserves the C nicely. But why oh why does it have to be full of so many nasty petrochemical ingredients? And what's with the perfume? Would love to know of a product with similar ingredients and effectiveness that doesn't smell like grandma or have stuff in it that will give me breast cancer. Anyone?

I received a sample of this product with my recent skinstore.com order. (I love how generous they are with samples!) It has a smooth silicone-based texture and is fragrance free. As others have noticed, it doesn't provide much moisture, so if your eye area is dry, you'll want to layer a more hydrating moisturizer over this. It didn't cause my eyes to sting or tear, but I have sensitive skin, and I haven't found a vitamin C product yet that doesn't irritate my skin. This product, even though it is only 5% L-ascorbic acid, caused my skin to sting for about 15 minutes after application, and then when the stinging subsided, my skin itched for the rest of the day. I think that vitamin C and my skin just don't get along. I'll stick with retinoids for anti-aging instead.

If you are looking for an eye cream, as in a moisturizer, then look elsewhere. This is a vitamin C treatment for the eye area. It's not a cream but more of a light gel/cream. Once it touches the skin it sort of liquifies and is easy to pat in. After drying it does stay a little tacky. I'm pretty neutral about this so far. Over time it has made my eye area brighter and firmer. I'm 28 and just starting to get fine lines so I can't really testify to its impact on that. My skin is very sensitive to vit c and this has never irritated me. I use this first in the am and put my moisturizer and ss over it. At night I put it on over my tretinion and then put my moisturizer over. This is a reasonable priced vit c eye treatment at a little over $30 imo and its packaged properly to keep the vit c stable. Overall, if I could tolerate a higher potency serum then I wouldn't even bother with this and just use that all over like I do with all of my other treatments. So for now I will repurchase.

This cream is called "Active C Anti-wrinkle Dermatological Treatment". Not only it does not work, but also dries out my skin, making the area appears to be more wrinkled. It also shakes my confidence on all these “anti-wrinkled”, “anti-age” products, do any of them work? Maybe I should focus on my number one issues – moisturizing. Anyway, in summery, the cream is light, easy to apply. Maybe it would work for someone in her early 20s, and doesn’t have dry, dehydrated eye area.

I was really hoping to like this, but alas, I do not. It does not moisturize my eye area at all. To be honest, thats the first thing I want in an eye cream, a moisturizer, THEN an anti aging product. My dehydration lines are back since I started using this about 3 weeks ago. I can only hope that it really works in preventing, however I dont think I'll ever find out because I wont be buying this again. The price is $43 CAN. Good thing I get an employee discount because if I had to pay full price, I"d be p%@!*&

I am amazed at the quick turnaround already!! I am a product junkie and I've tried a ridiculous amount but this one actually does what it says!!! I was able to run my finger on my "fine line" and actually feel it but since using the Active C this has become considerably less pronounced and visibly it has improved and this is from only using this product for one week! I am totally sold and I know you will as well!!! A definite MUA fav!!!
