I never met a Tarte Cheek Stain I didn't like. Dollface is one of three shades I own, and is also the lightest. It's a very light pink shade. I'm pretty fair, and Dollface is almost too light for me. I never thought I would say that about blush, because most blushes are just too bright or too dark for my skin. I occasionally layer a powder blush over this, but I have never had any issue with it not wearing well either way. I have noticed on super humid days this can migrate. Pricey, but justified because one stick will last the rest of my life, and cheek stains are one of only two blushes that I can actually wear.

I believe I've wanted this cheek stain for at least 10 years. But I'm very thrifty and I could never justify spending $30 on a blush! And then it happened...I stumbled on this for $14 at Sephora, and I just had to order it! I'm assuming they are discontinuing this shade or something. I've never been so excited to receive a piece of makeup in all my life! I just got it today and I'm completely in love. It glides on, leaving my cheeks soft, glowy, and perfectly pink. The color is sheer but layer-able, and the smell is light and slightly fruity. I'm hoping this won't break me out! Right now I'm 100% happy with this blush and I feel like my life is now complete lol :)

I am a big fan of Tarte's cheek stains and I think Dollface is my favorite shade. It is comes up as a dewy, pale pink with a hint of lavender on my skin. With my cool and fair skin tone, this shade is quite flattering and gives me enough color to look healthy and youthful. The finish is quite smooth and light. I apply straight from the tube and then use my fingers to blend. It is not a long lasting blush and I usually need a touch up mid day. Most blushes don't last all day on me so I wasn't too concerned about that. I would certainly buy again- the color and finish are too pretty not to!

I have very fair, combination skin. A make-up artist at Sephora recommended this to me.
The color is pretty, but it doesn't hold well. Even with a primer, I found the stain wears off really quickly, and needs to be reapplied a few times a day. Luckily, its small enough to fit unobtrusively in my purse and doesn't require a blush brush, but still, when I'm busy during the day I like my make up to stay put. The color is very sheer, but adding a light powder blush on top makes my face look overdone.
Overall, I only kind of like it. I wouldn't buy it again. I'm disappointed in the strength of the pigment and the length of its wearability. For the price (~$60 CDN) I expected a little better.

I purchased this quite some time ago, and recently found it in my makeup cabinet. I have auburn hair with blonde highlights, brown eyes, and very fair skin. I started wearing this because my skin has become drier since I turned 35, so I wanted to find something with a bit of dewyness. This color reminds me of the same flush I get when I just finish working out and/or running. Its perfect. When I want a stronger cheek, I use this and then apply MAC Pink Swoon on top very lightly to make it stay put. It is buildable so you can have a natural, pink flush or go all out to straight up doll face if you wanted! I've tried applying it with a blush brush, fail. The bristles stick to this product. So I just dab it directly to my cheek. It smells kind of fruity to me. It does get beads of moisture on top if left for a while. The container is HUGEEEE and it will last forever, so kind of justifiable to pay $30.

I like this product alot! Scents don't bother me at all, (unless it smells like crap) but if they bother you, this smells lemony, like some kind of natural kitchen cleaner. I know the packaging bothers some people, but I'm fine with it, I don't see how they could package a formula like this any differently. The product pushes up from the bottom. This retails for $30, which is a bit pricey, but it will seriously last forever, this thing is huge!
This is a very pretty natural light pink, and gives you the prettiest dewy flush. And not just this shade, Dollface, but all that I've tried are sheer and natural, but very, very buildable. There is no shimmer to this, which I love, because I prefer to add a separate highlighter to my cheekbones. It's not as long lasting (on me) as they claim, and I don't have oily skin at all. I usually layer powder blush over it, and it'll last about 5 hrs, which is still the longest any blush has ever lasted for me. If I don't layer powder blush over it, it lasts maybe 5 hrs. This is very travel friendly & quick & easy to blend, if you wanna take it in ur purse for touch-ups. Oh, and I'm a pale NC15 and this shade looks great on me.
All in all, I do actually think this is worth the $30 price tag, because there isn't a cheaper drugstore dupe that performs even close to similarly to this product. And if u know a reputable seller on eBay, even better, as I've seen these on there sometimes for cheap. Highly recommend this as well as the other colors, especially Flush.

I,m new to Tarte, but I fell in love their lip glosses a few weeks ago. Since I'm doing an "I'm now 50" makeover I needed a new blush. I was looking for natural, some that lasts and hopefully makes me look 10 years younger...lol. I hoped for a nice, fresh look and this stain is just so perfect and beautiful. I have auburn brown hair and medium beige skin. It shows up beautifully, but I have to dab it on twice. This stain gives a natural flush to my cheeks and lasts throughout the day...and it does make my face look brighter and younger.

Recently, I tried out NARS Multiple in Riviera. Riviera is a nice pinky-colored stick that really looked quite nice when I tried it on. It's been on my list of products to buy.
Fast forward to me getting ready for work the morning after I tried Riviera. I noticed that my daughter, who moved recently into NYC for her first real adult job, left some of her makeup at home. Among the makeup was this Tarte Cheekstain in "Dollface". "Hmmmmmm", I wondered.."Could I possibly use this instead of the Rivera that I covet"?
Yes. Yes I could. Here's what I did. I put my normal cheek color on, and with a brush, I tapped the top of the stain, then I stippled the cheekstain on the top of my cheeks and blended. Ohhhh..it looked so pretty and brightened up my face! It's a teensy-weensy lusterous so it really gives a nice finish. I'm definitely stealing this from my daughter!
FYI--Im very fair and cool-toned. Have freckles, but am not a "warm" so this color is very flattering. So happy that I saved money by "shopping" in my own home!

I love Tarte stains, but this is definitely one of the weaker ones. I'm NC15/20, and I am definitely on the upper end of where this blush will show up. It does show up on me, but I think anyone over NC25 will have a really difficult time with it. The color itself is nice enough, a very soft baby pink. It does have some subtle shimmer, but that doesn't really show up on the face. The formula is creamy, like the Tipsy stain (and not gel like Blushing Bride). The wear time is okay, decent but not nearly as long as the gel stains. If you are pale you should definitely consider this, and if you aren't pale you could still use it as a base for other pink blushes to enhance their lasting power. Since I'm pale and it shows up on me, I would buy again.

Dollface is a really pretty baby pink blush. I'm around NW10-15 and it gives me a pretty pink cheek that never looks overdone.
I held off on buying it for some time, since I figured I wouldn't get much use out of candy-colored blush. However, I've found it works well with a variety of colors--it's surprisingly versatile! Also, it has a creamy consistency (rather than gel, like most of the other Tarte cheek stains) which allows for easy blending.
While this may not work for all skintones (it is somewhat sheer and pale) it's worth a try if you're looking for a pretty dolly flush that still looks natural.

Very pretty pink on my cool, fair complexion. Moist and dewy-looking. Seems moisturizing, which is a nice bonus in Winter. A little goes a long way, so this stuff will last forever. Goes on a little sticky. Slightly luminous, but not frosty. Pleasant fruity smell. A new obsession- I am collecting these like a madwoman :) Pretty on the lips, but tastes pretty nasty. My search for that elusive dewy cheek is over! I feel a little guilty taking a whole lippy off because it's not good for lips. Would give it a 4 1/2 if I could.

I won't have to repurchase, but I would if necessary. My favorite candy pink blush, its aptly named. Used this on my kid sis when she did a 'dolly' costume and she really did look just like a doll. :) A lovely vivid pink. :)
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair Hair: Blond Eyes: Blue
this is sticky, as others have said, but if you let it sit for a second and then pat it it isn't sticky anymore.
i am vampire pale so this does show up on me, and i can put too much on! but it looks very natural and makes me look alive, awake, and pretty.
the only problem is that is doesn't last as long as the other cheek stains. that is why i took off a lippy.

I LOVE Tarte Cheek Stains & I LOVE this product. This gives a nice natural glowy pink flush. I have medium-tan skintone, and I was looking for a candy pink blusher and this one worked out great. Tarte's cheek stains are so natural looking and easy to use. Highly recommend!

I had previously purchased and returned dollface several years ago because the consistency was just unbearably sticky and difficult to apply. Recently on a whim I tried dollface again just because I love tarte cheek stains and this was basically the only colour left at Sephora I don't already own. I ended up going home with it and have not looked back. They've definitely changed the formula - it is now smooth and beautifully easy to apply. The colour is quite sheer, but it does show up beautifully on me as a pale, glowy baby pink (I'm super pale, NC15). It doesn't have any perceivable shimmer particles, but it does impart a shine and looks glossy. I think it looks lovely as a top coat to other tarte stain colours. It also looks really nice alone if you're going for a weekend minimalist look. This is not my personal favorite tarte cheek colour (that would be Blissful), but I do love it.
I wanted to write this review mostly to say that if you've had previous bad experience with this colour, it is worth revisiting as it is now a much better product, with easier application and better coverage. I would be sure to buy this from a source with credible "fresh" supplies though.

HG blush at present. Purchased along with Blushing Bride, which was the shade I was looking for (BB), and threw in Dollface to void shipping costs. Dollface turned out to be the winner of the two. I have a medium tone of skin, olivey undertones with very prominent surface redness/ruddiness (not just face but entire body). This shade is amazing. It's cool enough to temper my ruddiness, provides a soft pink without heating up my complexion further and has a slight shimmer that really defines my cheekbones without looking like I have on shimmer blush. I love the gel formula and was fearing I would break out (as even the Bobbi Brown PR's can make me break out if taken too close to my nose) but nothing, the gel almost has a cooling, nourishing feel. I love that this applies with a quick swipe and I'm done, barely even having to blend out the edges. I don't look like I have on blush but I just look finished, and not pasty. Also, this wears brighter/stronger initially, then sinks and fades into my cheeks and looks very natural. Would certainly repurchase. You know a product is awesome when you're no longer interested in looking at other ones of the same category. That's what this is.

This is basically my HG blush, it is uber-flattering, stays put, and brightens my skin, even if it's the only makeup I'm wearing. The applicator sucks, and it is hard for me to get an even application, even though I put it on before my foundation. I find it works best if you put it on after. Overall a lovely, if overpriced, product. Will repurchase.

Edit: This itches my cheeks like craaaaaaaaazy!!!! The itching mostly goes away but its really frustrating because I really love the product..not going to be able to use it anymore though :(
This is the first tarte I've purchased......in fact, the first cream/stain blush I've ever used. I knew going into this, that it can be a problem putting cream on top of powder (I wanted to try the cream look before but I am a devote loose mineral powder user and the MA at mac recommended against it). After reading a million reviews and deciding I wanted light pink cheeks, I purchased this on a 5 minute blast through Sephora ......I really wanted Flower Child but of course they were out. And will probably be discontinued by the time I am able to get more..lol. At first I was a little freaked out by the colour, but the more I use it, the more I love it. If I am putting it over my powder, I have to be careful to dab it on, not smudge it, and then kind of tap it into my cheek to blend. It really looks awesome...i put a little powder overtop to set it, but it does dry nicely.......takes forever to dry without powder......and if using powder, also just dab that on and use something light or translucent (tried setting it with a little mineral powder thats too dark for me and it looks amazing). The ONLY reason I took off a lippie is that I'm not a fan of the stickiness.......even though I can make it go away with powder. Another bonus is that it has a touch of sheen but doesnt make the pores look large, which tends to happen to me when I add sheen.
Def will buy again.......won't buy this colour again until I try a few others, but I'm fairly certain it suits me well.

I bought, and fell in love with, Green Siren a few months ago. So, I thought I would add Dollface to my wishlist. My lovely Mum bought it for me, and recently gave it to me as a gift. My first impression wasn't so hot. I removed the little bubble cap (which my Green Siren didn't have) and found the stain a bit moist....I'm used to it being a little drier. When I tried to put it on, it just streaked then rubbed off...making me freak out just a little bit. I decided to leave the bubble cap off, and let the stain "dry" a bit before using it again. I tried it again after a few days, and it went on very well, giving me just the color I wanted in the amount I needed. So, all in all, I'm very pleased with this cheek stain, it was just the first couple of days that I was worried! Hopefully not everyone deals with this issue, but in my case it was annoying enough for me to now be granting only four lippies instead of five. Still in love with it though, and would definitely buy again.

I admit that I bough the wrong color..I bought this from an online store along with benetint just to make the shipping free, but I hated it the second I put it on my face, I don't understand all the reviews here, maybe I just got the bad batch or something I don't know...But this is VERY STICKY, it's like putting Mac Lipglass on my face, the color doesn't glide and I don't like the feeling that this doesn't let my skin breathes..at first I thought it will dry off, but i doesn't..I was dying to try "Blushing Bride" or "Natural Beauty" so I was only testing with this..if this is how the product's like, I don't want to try another one..
